this gonna be my last post for the year 2007... going out later to catch the movie alien vs predator 2 with my platoon mates... seems like all my festivals eve are spent watching movie...
went out in the last couple days... met up with alvin, waicheng, ak, lynn and huarong for dinner on saturday... after dinner at carls juniors, went to giraffe to chill out... pretty nice place with a good ambience...
had out first match in god knows how many months on sunday... played against marcus fren's team... really been a long time since we last don our boots and play on a field... the rustiness showed at first but was quickly overcame for a resounding 8-2 victory... opponents weren't exactly good which explains the scoreline... was played in a withdrawn striker role today... definitely something new... was abit stunned when i was asked to played there... i think i did well... considering the fact that the ball was often played behind for me to chase instead of playing the ball to my feet so that i can spread play... had 2 chances to score but my scuffed my 1st volley at the gk and the second volley over the bar... it was a good performance from the team and hopefully, build on this victory for future matches... and my boots gonna be scrapped soon... have to spend money to get a new pair again...
went to hougang mall earlier today to see the spop concert with keyuan and yehshun... keyuan wanted to take photos so went with him... peifen was the host and she's so cute!!! after which, they came to my house so that i can take the photos from keyuan 1st... all files in good resolution... good for editing... will post some here after editing it...

yep, merry christmas and happy holidays everyone... enjoying my block leave now... damn shiok... will only need to go back camp next year!!!
was on off from last thursday onwards although i had to make a trip back to camp on sunday for guard duty... went for a soccer session at the cage with my 4 of my A1 platoon mates and the specs and ADSSs on saturday... it was a fun and tiring 2 hour session although the cost abit fierce... 11 bucks for a 2 hours kickabout... well, overall it was fun though... attended alvin's 21st birthday celebration at his house in the evening... played some mahjong and caught up with some of the lads there... one of the last to leave coz i decided to book in straight to camp rather than go back the next day morning... thanks yiboon for driving me to camp...
after reaching home on monday, had diarrhea the whole day... must be the kfc we ordered when we doing guard duty... so did not join my platoon mate for steamboat at marina bay but did go for a movie session though... caught I Am Legend at PS... its a nice movie although the ending abit sucks... when will smith's dog die it was so sad man...
in less than a month's time i will be flying to thailand for exercise cope tiger... definitely going to be another eye opener to me... flying on the 21st of jan and most probably coming back on either the 4th or 5th of feb... just in time for chinese new year...

had a very good long rest during the weekend coz i was on leave since last thurs... really feels great to be able to just rest at home and finish up on some stuffs at home... but i injured my left wrist during soccer on sunday though... its another sprain... another injury to add to the damage on my body...
sunday was grand slam day... liverpool vs man utd and arsenal vs chelsea... they really do know how to arrange their fixtures... went over to keyuan's house with yehshun to catch the match... and yes, man utd won 1-0 courtesy of a carlos tevez goal... woohoo... how long has it been liverpool since they beat man utd??? haha... and it was also nice to see a 19 yr old squaring up against the england vice captain and winning the battle... haha... but arsenal won though... meaning they are still top of the epl...
caught the movie The Warlords yesterday... its a very nice movie and i encourage everyone to go catch it... the meanings in the show very strong and its definitely useful to our life...
booking in tonight... tml got guard duty meaning i only come back on thurs morning... zzz... whole A1 only i staying back... damn sianz... sunday also got guard duty... after which is long break all the way until new year...

its been raining cats and dogs for a few days now... the period of the year has come where its almost impossible to do any outdoor activities due to the magnificent weather... that ain't good... haven't been able to go and run and train for my ippt in the pass week even though i got plenty of time... this is bad... ippt is coming and i think im going to fail the 1st one... well, lets hope the weather will be better this week...
cope tiger mockup finally over... knew about more details abt the trip last week... we gonna have only 1 day of R&R and that as well in the middle of our exercise... well, i will look on the bright side and that is i won't spend so much money over there and save my on my overseas allowance...
went to nick's 21st birthday celebration last fri at a bar in dunlop street... it was a night of booze and fun... been quite a while since i went to smthing like that... didn't manage to make it to nigel's party earlier on coz i booked out quite late...
on off today... nearly got cancelled due to some selfish bastard in my platoon... upon hearing today got things to do, pple straight away go and request for the off when he got so long to say smthing but didn't until the last min... in the end, the thing tat needed to be done was done so sgt thomas gave me and annaik back our day off... i dun mind cancelling my off to go back do stuffs coz that's what im suppose to do but if im suppose to cancel and go back coz some pple is being selfish and does not want to do this job, then im pissed... this isn't the 1st time this guy has do stunts... i wrote abt him smtimes ago in a post and those who have read it, its the same guy... anyway, there are all kinds people ard...
休息是为了走根长的路... cant wait for the long break next week onwards where i only hav to go bacn camp for 2 days due to guard duty... cant wait...
finally got my new phone this week for used during the weekends... singtel was having promotion so just decided to get it...
i hate it when people change their minds at the last min and ended up wasting other pple time... this kind of people dun know how to think for others... can only think about themselves... haiz...

back for another week of updates... very short week in camp... booked out on tuesday night as wednesday was our A1 ORD chalet for the old specs... the chalet was at the nsrcc, the safra resort at tanah merah there... going there bring back memories of 2 years ago when we had a chalet there as part of the pre fo preparation... well, time really flies yea... the periods of time spend in poly with all the club pple are definitely one the best time of my life... haha...
went over to the chalet in the afternoon... basically played mahjong the whole day and its been a long time since i last played... well, luck on that day wasn't really on my side... haha... anyway, the chalet was sort of a last gathering for the old specs and us coz they are ording soon or have already orded... seriously, we are beginning to miss their presence in the platoon especially both john n yihao who are my detachment commander and 2ic... i won't ever forget all the things that they have taught me and the 2 gifts that we gave you guys really represent our heartfelt feelings and sincere thanks to you 2 for guiding us all the way... (fyi: i did a collage of pictures and words that we wanted to say and printed it out and framing it up)
went over to the sitex on thursday morning after we came back from the chalet... nothing much there really... didn't see anything that i could buy or wat... i still feel the suntec shows are the best... expo really got nothing to see man...
den on sat, yep, we got it again... another recall exercise back to unit... and guess what, this was still not the actual one... the actual one is at god knows when... very fun man... keep playing with our weekend... i got nothing more to comment on this matter... if i do, i think i will be charged... after the recall thing, met up with alvin, waicheng, lynn and ak at suntec kenny rogers for dinner... ended the day early coz alvin and lynn taking part in the standard chartered marathon today... haha...
next week going to be a long week in camp... going for cope tiger mockup tml at lim chu kang camp... got no idea what we gonna be doing there... sianz... i just hope for 3rd week of dec to come... then i will trauly be on leave...
