Was working last saturday. that day was The Sunday Times Food tour. meaning although i was working, i get to enjoy the perks of eating and enjoying as well... first stop was lunch at Braise at sentosa palawan beach... it was fine dining, meaning all the food came in quite a small portion... but the cod that i had for main course was good... too bad i forgot to take some photographs... after lunch, we made our way to the Singapore Flyer!!! first up was a wine appreciation session... after which the group was divided into 2 groups... first group went for massage while the second group went to take the flyer... after which they swopped... i went for the flyer on the second trip... it was my first time on the Singapore Flyer and i get to go for free!!! the sights was nice although the construction was quite an eyesore... im sure the skyline would look better than night as i went at around 5 plus in the evening... after which, dinner was at Xiyan in chinatown... i did not stay for dinner though as i rushed off to meet up with a group of friends...
this group was ak, alvin, waicheng, lynn and huarong!!! haven seen most of them since the taiwan trip... met up as ak is finally back home for his holidays... dinner was at Charlton Hotel's cafe vic and the bill was foot by ak... thanks bro!!! it was a nice and relaxing session where we really caught up with one another and of course reminiscing the times we had in taiwan... i wanna go back there again and the rest was keen as well... im sure we will be heading there again sometimes soon... after dinner was slacking session at starbucks...
sunday was out 3rd league game... went into the game hoping to finally get our first win in the league... and win we did... 5-1 the final score against corpus christi... seriously though, the score could have and should been more... no disrespect to the opponents but they really are not our match at all... if not for some wayward finishing and poor decisions making, we could easily have broke the 10 goals mark... i was guilty of missing a few good chance as well... well anyway, a win is a win and hopefully we can build on this victory and go on a streak...
i committed a great mistake today and im still feeling damn bad over it... haiz... seriously beginning to doubt my ability...

last sunday was our second league match at yiochukang stadium... we lost the tie 3-4... 2nd loss in the row... not exactly a bright start to the season... but just like the previous game, we nearly come back after going 3-0 down in the first half... we again outscored the opponents in the second half... no all we need to do is to learn how to stop conceding stupid goals and we will be ok... i have to put my hand up for some of the goals that we conceded over the 2 matches... still finding my feet when being played at centre back as im not used to playing with a high line... will try to improve further!!! the loss means that we are second from bottom with 2 losses... the team below us is the team we are playing this week and they have conceded 14 goals in 2 games... on paper, we should be able to beat them... but lets not be complacent...
monday night went for dinner with my colleagues as several of my colleagues are leaving the company... went to sakura buffet at yio chu kang... then after that, they propose to go ktv so i went along but i didn't expect to stay till 1+!!! damn shagged... even more shagged when i went to work the next day...
gonna be a damn busy month for me with the christmas event at orchard to take care off... just hope that everything can be done smoothly for the buildup... and i dunno what has happen to me... i used to talk with confidence back then but now, i just cant seem to find that confidence to talk to people... maybe ns really has a detrimental effect on one... or maybe becoz i sort of scared as i feel like people won't really bother about what i say coz im juz a small fry... whatever the reason, i really need to find the confidence back or im in deep shit for this project...
and i think that i have been working too much that i have lost touch with the world... i didn't even know ak was back until alvin told me juz now!!! i need to figure out how to achieve WORK LIFE BALANCE!!!!

finally the panasonic tradeshow is over... that is one really irritating project... maybe coz of the things that im supposed to do... the rsvp part is really cock la... shan't comment much except the fact that alot of redundant things were done...
anyway, worked till pretty late during the last week... especially on wednesday when i stayed until 12.30am for the setting up... the whole event totally reminds me of the days in poly when we stayed till late almost everyday to get ready for events... how i miss those fun times... but the feeling is different as compared to last time as this time is really more work den fun... it was really an exhausting 3 days... stayed a while for the teardown as well on saturday... u see everything do up nice nice den within a few hour, everything is reduced to broken pieces... but it marks the end of my first event although i was involved in the planning of this event, i was involved in the most irritating part of it(rsvp)...
it was really an exhausting event... thank got for the off day today although i would have preferred to be off yesterday but better than nothing la...
didn't take much photos, but got a few shots of the 150 inch plasma screen, biggest in the world...
its going to be a hectic end of the year for me with several more events coming up...
