Happy Chinese New Year people!!!! Lets us all Huat during this cow year!!!!
Fairprice campaign is finally over!!! like at last... one whole month of lucky draw finally ended... have a feeling satisfaction after this entire event finished as this can be considered the project that i get to handle some of the stuffs myself... but of coz the main decisions the difficult part of the project was still handled by derek and shawn... but i learnt new things from this event again... one thing is that im constantly learning new things, which can only be good for me... the fairprice finale also marks the end of the interns time at ogl... im sure gonna miss daphne and the rest of the interns... no one to pester me for designs and talk crap with me in office anymore... seeing them and hearing about the things they do always reminds me of one place... the one place that still lingers in my heart... mit club... the things they do and their bonds really make me wish i was still in SP and still doing things in club... i sometimes really wonder how things are in club now... its sure hard to forget that place... well anyway, here's wishing all the best to all the interns... will sure miss u peeps...
after the fairprice event on saturday, went down to causeway point to meet up with qiuhui before proceeding down to timbre for stephanie's aka fatimah farewell gathering... haven't seen them for quite a long time... especially qiuhui... the last time was like before i ord??? well, the gathering was great and we played some games from our old days... thats how one reminisce the good ol' days ya...
sunday morning, mahjong yet again with keyuan, sinwah and xianyuan at yehshun place... really crazy... they wanted to play before reunion dinner so i feng pei... played till around 5 before everyone rushed home for dinner...
chinese new year visiting was same as usual... nothing interesting really... except that i met alot of relatives that i never met before on my father's side... making me feel a little bit lost... other than that, it was always the same old questions being diverted at you...
well apparently, i learnt today that i did something wrong last sat during the event... derek say he will talk to me next week... i think i can guess what is it already though... but im gonna stand firm on my stance this time round coz that was what exactly the thing that happened... so who knows, i might be out of a job soon =)

woot... mean mia for quite a while... this is like turning into a monthly update thing... which is not very good... shall try to update more but muz have interesting things to update first...
tomorrow night is setup for fairprice grand finale which is happening on sat at amk hub... finally the whole thing is coming to an end.. i wouldn't exactly say im glad that the event is finally ending... there will surely be a few things that i will miss... especially wednesday's draw at the various locations... wednesday is always spend out out of office and that is a damn good thing... although facing the aunties isn't... i can safely say after this event that aunties are the worst bunch of people to deal with... they can think of 101 questions or complains as to why they didn't win in the lucky draw... really is arghhhh!!!!! well, i personally hope the grand prize winners on saturday aren't those people who always give troubles...
went shopping for new year clothes with yehshun, xinwah, xianyuan and yaoxing on sunday... it was quite a bad day man... i didn't manage to get any tees or polo shirt that i liked... only managed to get 2 shirts which bought more for work... that sucks... dinner was at fish & co as i had $30 vouchers to be used... don't know why this year no many clothes caught my eyes... i also manage to get a pair of jeans from levis yesterday... exchange my old pair of jeans for a 50 bucks discount... damn worth it... but still no top!!!
this weekend gonna be a busy weekend... event on sat afternoon is followed by a dinner function at night... then on sunday morning, mahjong session before reunion dinner... cant wait for the long break!!!

Happy belated new year everyone!!! its another new year again... its really amazing how time passes so fast... a new year, hope it will be a new beginning for me as well...
spend the past few days out with friends... met up with yiboon, yaolong and yuwen for dinner on new year eve... didn't plan to actually go out on that day as i was working till quite late and wanted to go home and rest... but since i haven't met yiboon they all for quite a while so why not... had dunner at sushi don at funan before chilling at starbucks... then walked over to city hall area to take in the fireworks before making our way home...
on new year day... met up with chewling, michelle, dom, yg, joe and willy for dinner... had aston at The Cathay again... second time in 1 week that i ate aston... it was a good gathering, celebrated dom's birthay at the same time as well... the celebration was quite funny as another table of people was also celebrating their friend's birthday... so we sort of like mix the celebration together... really the kind of things that we used to do in poly... then the usual, gave yg and willy their long overdued presents as well...
i finally got my new comp built yesterday... keyuan and yehshun came down to my house yesterday morning and helped me strip my old comp and bring it down to sim lim... reusing my casing... the new rig costs me 900 bucks... meaning i broke already!!! but it was worth it all... finally i can play games again... after which, was mahjong at yehshun's house!!!
going back to work next week... i think i will feel damn sianz coz i been on a long break since thursday... now that 2008 has ended, its really time to recap on what kind of year 2008 has been for me...
2008 can be considered to be quite a great year for me... plenty of things happen throughout the year... there were both good and bad of coz but i can say that the good far outscore the bad... many interesting events happened as well... the first of which was Exercise Cope Tiger 08 in thailand... chosen as part of the detachment to go there for this 2 weeks exercise and i am glad to say i enjoyed my time day and it was quite a fulfilling experience for me... not to mention the experience of taking the C-130 as well as the Fokker F50... so that's definitely one of the highlight for me this year...
after which was all the usual stuffs until my taiwan trip in july!!! oh man, enjoy myself to the max there and it was even better with the companionship of great friends... taiwan is a place that i wanted to go for some time and it was really great that i finally went there... the place is definitely like what many people is saying... people are friendly, food is nice, scenery is nice and the girls are pretty!!! LOL... it was so nice that i think i am probably going back again this year...
then there was the day that every males so eagerly waited for... O.R.D!!! finally got back my pink IC and it was back to being a civilian again... 2 years of giving my time to the nation finally ended... that day can surely be counted as one of the happiest day in my life...
after around 1 month of slacking after the pink day, it was time for me to join the workforce... got myself a job as an events exe at SPH MediaBoxOffice... where im still at still... joining the working society definitely was challenge at first as i was still trying to switch my mentality... im constantly learning things everyday and im sure these things will be useful to be in the future...
so looking back, 2008 has been a good year for me and i hope 2009 will be as well... with that, it means it time to make some new year resolutions... so without further ado, my resloutions for 2009:
1. Pass IPPT when my window opens in may
2. Start to get my driving license
3. Participate in at least 1 half marathon, likely to be AHM
4. Get a stable job if i did not get extended after my contract
5. Lose weight!
6. Above all, lead a fulfilling 2009!!!
yep, i will TRY my best to hit these resolutions... hopefully im still self-disciplined enough...
