I can't believe how fast time has flown by. We went out for dinner as a family since we don't have any baby sitters readily available. Then for fun we played Elefun. Yup, that's what we did for our anniversary. FUN! No really, we had a good time. We love our kids and spending time with them. I'm thankful for my family. I wonder where we'll be in another 9 years.
I don't know why I've been slackin off so much on my blog latley, but I'm definatly not stayin on top of it. I had said that I would put up more pictures of our vacation with the family and didn't get it done. So here they are. From strawberry picken to showing the cousins and Grandparents the beaches, the Dennis the Menace park, the aquarium and everything in between it. It was really a fun filled time.
So, as I'm sure most of you have already heard, Ben's mom very suddenly passed away. Thankfully we were able to drive to Utah from here in one night and made it to say our good-bye's. This has been really hard because we love her so much and it was so completely unexpected. I'm really thankful for the good memories and for her being able to come and visit us for Kaila's baptism. It was such a great time having her here and showing her around. I really think she had a great time.
I have been wanting to get pictures of Alyssa forever. I've tried once before and they were horrible. The whole experience was bad. Bad pictures, bad customer service. We went to JCPenny and finally got some good ones. Along with Alyssa I had Kaila's pictures taken in her baptism dress and a group picture. I love my kids, their so precious!!
It's been so long since I updated anything on here. So I'm just going to write a little about what we've been up to and hopefully soon I start remembering to bring my camera with me when we go do things. We've been so Santa Cruise a few times and it's been a blast, we walked all the way from our house to the beach yesterday and back. That was 3 miles round trip and it felt great. I love being able to walk and get good exercise but with 3 little one's under foot all of the time, it's nearly impossible. I went to visit my mom at the beginning of the month and that was really nice. It was really good to see some of my great friends too. I wish I'd had more time and could of stopped by to see everyone, but it wasn't a vacation trip. I was going to help my mom after some minor nose surgery, which she recovered better than expected faster than expected. So, anyway in short we've been staying busy. I'll try to remember to photo graph some more adventures to make this more interesting.
So since I'm so behind, our family came to visit in June. It was so great to see the inlaws and my mom. We had a good time with them all here. We showed them the beaches, the boardwalk, Santa Cruise, the aquarium. It was really good to catch up with them all. Thanks family for coming to visit us. It was great to see you all!!
