Post Christmas and Welcoming New Year's

How was your Christmas celebration?

Mine was wonderful, thanks for asking.
(Its wad happens when you blog like how you talk haha.)

I flew back.

Over the seas.

To have a lovely Christmas celebration.

With my dear family.

And now the New Year's round the corner.

In this one year. I've started a blog. Turned part-time media. Part-time talent manager. Part-time makeup artist. Part-time writer.

And it all started through this blog.

Its been a wonderful year. Full of a lifetime of experiences I would never regret to have.

Now its onto the new year.
New job. New church. New home.

Hope your plans for the new year are as awesome as mine. ;)

daily fashion: layering black

Another one of my 'work' clothes.

I'll be changing jobs in 2010. To a corporate organization. So this is my last set of camho session in my current office. And all my smugness of being able to wear what I want is smacking back on my face. Sigh. Karma and all.

Ok! So!
Black. The most awesummest kaler ever created.

Only problem is... It tends to get a liddle boring.

The most basic fashionista advice is to wear a splash of colour. Like a yellow belt or red necklace.

But even that gets boring after a while. So instead, try layering.

Layering black on top of black. With different cuts and textures. It makes an interesting ensemble while pulling off the fashionista rep.

And another tip. Notice the vest again? Vests are awesum and totally worth it to add some dimension to an otherwise plain outfit. Plus the cut is slimming and vests never go outta style!

Try investing in a couple of good black basics. You won't regret it. :)

caring for your breasts

Cos boobs need more than just male attention.

Along with the usual breast examinations and proper diet of course.

But there's a little more information a woman should have about her breasts.

And since I did a post on vajayjays. I figure I should do a post on the other female asset.
Boobs.

Big or small, they need attention. Especially with all that breast cancer scare going around.

So firstly, you know you gotta wear good bras right?

And no, I do not categorise La Senza or Triumph as being a good bra brand.

Try Xixili and Marks and Spencer instead. These brands actually provide good comfort and support for your breasts. Though of course you may revert to La Senza once in a while just cos they have prettier bras I know.

My friend has huge boobs. She's shorter than 5ft with Double E boobs.
Since she had boobs her mom brought her and her sisters to shop only for good bras.
Till today, her double E boobs remain perky. Even on braless days.

Beat that.

Next up. Boob exercises

Boob massages, really.
Try these exercises I copied and pasted from this website.

  1. Rub hands together to warm them. Place one hand over each breast with nipple resting between thumb and forfinger. Rotate breasts gently upward, outward and then inward. Do this about 24 times.
  2. Warm hands, using four fingers gently rub the whole of the breast in a circular movement around the breast.
  3. Warm hands, using four fingers gently rub the nipple and areola ia circular movement.
Or you can check out the massaging picture instructions in this website if you're lazy to only read.

Make sure you do this gently. Your boobs need TLC!

Thirdly. Go braless at night/ weekends if you have B cup or smaller boobs. Wear wireless and slightly loose cotton bras for those with bigger breasts.

I know most people recommend going braless often. But lets be frank. For us hefty chested chicks, we don't exactly like the feeling of letting our jugs being pulled down by gravity. And when we're sleeping, its not not good for the skin of our boobies to be flung left right centre. Strech marks, honey, stretch marks!

So moisturise well, and wear a cotton, wireless, and loose bra to sleep instead. It'll let your boobs breathe still with the minimal support it just about needs to stay perky.

Lastly. Exfoliate your armpits daily

Yeah, I know. Suddenly liddat. Talking about boobies then switched to armpits.

Our boobs are affected by our lymph nodes. Toxins are released daily through our armpits. But we don't exactly have an alternative to prevent our armpits from stinking up, so using deodarant on a daily basis is a norm for most of us.

Its really important to clean your armpits pores sufficiently so the toxins can be released properly. This helps prevent breast cancer.

Plus, your armpits tend to darken from the daily use of product. Exfoliating daily helps to prevent that.

I used to scrub my armpits with St Ives' Apricot Scrub, but I didn't find it effective enough. There was always some amount of product I could never get rid of.

Then my sister stumbled upon this little goodie while randomly window shopping in Times Square.

Dempo Snow.
(Just in case you didn't see the bright purple words all over.)

This little baby looks and feels like Hazeline Snow (you remember that old skool product?).

But its basically an exfoliant you can use on your body (my sister says face too but I'm skeptical).

Apply it onto your dry skin and rub in one direction.
Super. Clean. Yet. Gentle. On. Skin.

I don't know where you can buy it retail, but you can call the supplier for delivery.

RM15 per bottle. Free delivery if you buy 10 + 2 (free) = 12

So no more excuses to not take care of your boobs! I've given you the information you need, you just need to follow it through.

Stay boob safe and pretty ladies. ;)

daily fashion: wearing lacy lingerie out

An outfit I wore to work, but would be more suited for a casual day out for most people who hold normal jobs haha.

The top is actually a lace lingerie top from Lace Petals. I wore it over a black singlet to unsluttify it enough for outside wear.

The leggings are actually grey. I don't know why it doesn't show in the poser pics. So I took another shot.

Grey leggings peekaboo.

All black doesn't really suit the look I feel.

I actually bought like, 4 pieces of lingerie from Lace Petals cos they are oh so perty and awesum! >.< Am still trying to figure out how to wear it all. Updates once I do.

-------------------------------------------------

Ok, I have a confession to make.

In the most poser pic of all I wasn't actually aiming for a pose. And if you were my friend you'd know I'm not one of those blogger poser types. And the fact that I actually dislike most of those blogger poser types makes me wonder myself why I posted that pic.

Truth is. I wanted to show you how to wear leggings lower. Into your shoe. So it doesn't cut off at the ankles and make your legs look shorter. Which is why you see me pointing at my shoe with the leggings peeking out a little.

But the pic ending up looking poser-ish. And actually kinda nais (IMHO). So despite my apprehension, I posted it up.

So there you have it. In case you actually know me and wonder why I actually did such a si-ai-bin pose. Now you know why. =D

The title represents exactly how I feel at every event by the 11th hour.

I stopped blogging about events cos...

I attend way too many.
I feel its boring to read only about events.
It just takes up way too much time.
Fine, I'm jz plain lazy too. :p

But since I actually bothered to take some piccies during the last few events I went to, here's some visual diarrhea for you.
