--Year 2009--
Ah Ching is spending her day in the office. Our dear co's "half-day" is till 3 p.m!!! Super sianzzz...
Well, this year is rather a smooth one. I graduated, slacked for 4 months, travelled twice, and found a job. Of course, I was only bothered about my pathetic results. Haiz~
New year resolution? I seriously need to exercise. Ah Ching has always wanted to lose weight, but has not been persistent about it. I am thinking of jio-ing pals to go exercise on sunday. Hahaha! Let's see if it works.
Planning for Central Java trip too, but I don't think I can go before June. Anybody wanna join me?

Lunch
--Hot Tomato Coffeehouse @ Republic Plaza--
Initial plan was to meet up with GC & HM for lunch today, but Ms. GC got mc. So, our plan was postponed. Well, managed to meet up with HM in the afternoon. Glad to c the gal~
Anyway, brought her to Republic Plaza & had our spaghetti at "Hot Tomato". Ah Ching gotta eat vegetarian today, so could only have Aglio Olio.
--Dessert @ TCC--
We were walking ard Raffles Xchange when Ms. HM decided to have desserts at TCC. Ho I haven't been there for quite sometime!
This piece of cake got an interesting name. It's called "Devil's Chocolate". Well, it's quite delicious, but a little too bitter for me (got dark choc). HM's "Ebon Forest" was much sweeter...haha!
And dear HM...thanks for your treat. I owe you one meal ok? :)

--Botak Jones @ Orchard Youth Park--
25/12 to 29/12...5 days.
Within these 5 days, I have been to Orchard 4 times. What a record!
Anyway, had a good meal at Botak Jones with Boss, CY & SN. I've never eaten their stuff before, but I knew they were famous for their western food.
My Black Pepper Chicken.
The meal costed $8.90, and I can choose 2 side dishes. However, I gotta pay 80 cents more for the Baked Cheese Potato...It's delicious la, but I thought I could save that 80 cents. (I must be blind~) Haha!

TV Drama Review #224 - Koshonin 2 交涉人 2
No. of Epis: 9Year/TV Stn: 2009/TV Asahi
Cast:
Yonekura Ryoko ~ Usagi Reiko
Jinnai Takanori ~ Kirisawa Keigo
Takahashi Katsumi ~ Katayama Kazuyoshi
Shirota Yu ~ Mariya Kyosuke
Osugi Ren ~ Takabayashi Shizuo
Asano Yuko ~ Yumisaka Fumiko
Synopsis: (from Dramawiki)
The new season opens with a string of deadly incidents involving guns sent to various people by someone known as "Summer Claus." The weapons seem to be part of a batch of 27 stolen guns, and so far 14 of them have been given out. Now it's up to Usagi and the rest of the SIT to recover the remaining 13 before there are any more casualties.
Slacker's review:
Acting wise, the cast was great as usual, but nothing spectacular from them. Yonekura's performance was terrific, but I wish to see her in feminine roles someday~ Enough of the shuai qi Usagi :D
Takaoka Sousuke's Amari was killed in this season, pretty sad about that, coz' I liked to see Amari with Usagi.
Shirota's Mariya was still as weird as ever..haha! But his acting was good la, or else it's hard to pull off such a character.
Theme song "My Style" by Denda Mao. I love her songs~
P.S: Hopefully I can update on the movie version next yr. Till then~

ML's birthday celebration
--Party World @ Int'l Building--
KBox is getting ex for their weekend session, luckily there's Party World. Sang Karaoke with Ml & Pf from 2-6p.m, and the rate was reasonable. Somehow, 还唱不过瘾...haha! Bought some Dunkin' Donuts & "sneaked" the food in, since we were kinda hungry.
--Itacho Sushi @ Ion Orchard--
I have wanted to have a meal at Itacho! Their food is in small portions, and mainly on sashimi & sushi. So, if you want to have a cheap & good set meal, I think Itacho is not the best place. If you wanna try new sushi, then this is the right place for you. I think their sushi choices are quite different from the norm, but of coz', be prepared to pay more la.
Let's check out what we ate, take a deep breath.....
Ready?
The way of ordering food is different from the norm - self service ah~
My green tea...is free of charge!
Yellow Tail Sashimi.
Salmon & Octopus Sashimi.
Roasted Salmon, Roasted Scallop, Salmon w/ Soy Sauce, Sea Salt & Curry Salt Octoupus Sushi. I loved the scallop!!!!
My Spicy Sashimi Mini Rice...damn ex. Should have ordered something else.
Wasabi Squid Warship, Sweet Shrimp, Sanma & Jack Mackerel Sushi.
Chawanmushi w/ Crab.
Salmon Spring Roll.
Pf's Salmon Hand Roll.
Ml's Pork Chop Udon.
Sweet Shrimp Sakura Leaf Roll.
Seafood Salad.
Deep Fried Soft Squid.
Walked ard Ion, and found a nice belt at Monsoon Accessorize. If not for the half price sale, I would not buy it la. Haha! Pf bought the same belt as me, and she bought a nice pair of heels from New Look. As for Ml...she definitely won't go home empty handed. Hahaha!
P.S: A little envious of Tuan now, coz' she got to see snow in Shanghai. Haha!

It's rare that Mr Chean joined us for shopping. Initially wanna bring him to DTF, but the queue was long as usual. Haiz~ So, we chose to dine at Fish & Co la. (I haven't eat their stuff for ages~)
Aunt Jo's Fish & Chips...
Mr Chean & my seafood platter for two!!! Seriously, I loved the seafood platter, and the King prawns were just damn big! Yummy~
--Orchard Central--
Mr Chean hardly goes to Orchard Rd, so he was curious about the new malls. Brought him to OC and we went up to the roof garden. Lots of ppl there, but I managed to take some macro shots.
Lovely Lily~
The lily looked nicer in original pic size...

My favourite...orchird~
This is interesting...black lily!
--313 @ Somerset & Compass Point--
We walked over to 313 @ Somerset. Wanna take a look at Forever 21 clothes, but the place was too hot & crowded. Lolz~

TV Drama Review #223 - Untouchable
No. of Epis: 9Year/TV Station: 2009/TV Asahi
Cast:
Nakama Yukie ~ Narumi Ryoko
Kaname Jun ~ Toyama Shiro
Sato Tomohito ~ Takafuji Shinichi
Ozawa Yukiyoshi ~ Narumi Koji
Synopsis: (edited from Dramawiki)
Reporter Narumi Ryoko loses her job at a first-rate publisher and ends up at a trashy tabloid called "Shukan Untouchable." She now chases celebrity scandals and sensational stories, but she hasn't lost her sense of duty or her persistence. While investigating her stories, she tends to notice details that imply some hidden truth beneath the surface, leading her to probe deeper into dangerous secrets.
Slacker's review:
I did not have high expectations for this drama, but I'm glad "Untouchable" proved me wrong. Initially, I thought the drama was the standard reporter finding her news and how she solved the crimes plot, but these standard scenarios were just "smokescreen" for the real case, and that is who's the murderer who killed all the victims in the drama. I thought the twists in the drama were interesting as people closed to Narumi was suspected one by one. Actually it was quite easy to guess who's the murderer towards the end of the drama, but the rationale for him to commit crime was just too crappy for me. Lolz~ Anyway, the truth was too much for Narumi to bear, pretty sad ne~
Nakama is always remembered for her role in "Gokusen" series, and that image was too hard to erase. Thus, besides that drama, her other dramas sort of flop in terms of ratings. "Untouchable" was not that bad, and this was my first time enjoying her role besides Yankumi in "Gokusen". I loved Narumi, though she seemed to be blur & kinda awkward. She's so funny when she saw her Shiro-chan, but she's very righteous when she's doing her work. I loved her scenes with her brother, Koji. It's kinda heartwarming to see them chatting at their house, and may be it's because they depended on each other after their parents were killed in an incident.
The guys here were clearly supporting roles. Nice to see Kaname again, but I wondered why he still can't lead a drama? It's a pity there's nothing going on b/w Toyama & Narumi la, though I wished they could bicker a little more.
Sato Tomohiko was more involved in the drama as he's the fella who went to chase news with Narumi. The twist for his character was nicely done, and for a few mins, I really thought he might be the suspect. (Dumb me~)
Ozawa is the other guy who is commonly known for his support roles. I loved the twist for Koji man! This guy got charisma~
Theme song is "Orion" by Girl Next Door while insert song is "Koko ni iru yo" by 72.

TV Drama Review #222 - IRIS
No. of Epis: 20Year/TV Stn: 2009/KBS
Cast:
Lee Byung Hun ~ Kim Hyun Joon
Kim Tae Hee ~ Choi Seung Hee
Jung Joon Ho ~ Jin Sa Woo
Kim Seung Woo ~ Park Chul Young
Kim So Yeon ~ Kim Sun Hwa
Choi Seung Hyun (T.O.P of Big Bang) ~ Vick
Synopsis: (edited from Soompi IRIS thread)
Top 707 agents Hyun Joon and Sa Woo are blood brothers who swore to trust each other and unchanging friendship for life. Hyun Joon lost his parents in a car accident when he was young. He does not have much memory of them from the shock of their death. Not only that, he always carries a sense of void and loneliness in his heart. But his friend Sa Woo had filled that void. The men go to 707 Corps to qualify as agents. They stand out and get noticed by the National Security System (NSS) and become the top agents. They meet agent Choi Seung Hee and both fall in love for her. Hyun Joon & Seung Hee become close while Sa Woo fights to hide his feelings for Seung Hee. The trio were sent on a mission to Hungary & when they successfully finish their job, Hyun Joon receives a secret mission. However, after he finishes his task, his boss ordered for him to be killed, and Sa Woo has to complete this mission....
Slacker's review:
To be honest, I'm not interested in terrorists plots. I'm clearly watching for the cast, who are a bunch of talented actors. "IRIS" turned out to be interesting, as there were lots of twists & turns in the story development. But of course, there are quite a few loopholes in the plot too, and some details were not clearly explained. Ending was bad to me, though I know why they wanna get rid of HJ (though got ppl believed he was not dead...). I wished they ended the drama with a good twist or with a good cliffhanger, as second season may be coming its way. Romance did take up a portion of the storyline, but it's not over the top, and that's good as the drama would not lose its focus.
It's nice to see Mr Lee back in the small screen after a long absence. However, is his acting really that good? I can't give a definite answer. LBH is a guy who can act, and I don't doubt his acting. But well, I thought Hyun Joon got nothing special to offer. Chemistry with KTH was not that bad, but I don't really feel for them. I thought KSY got better chemistry with LBH...haha!
Jung Joon Ho's performance was better than LBH, because Sa Woo was a more complex character. He hid his feelings & conscience, and he struggled b/w right & wrong. JJH was given the chance to portray his character with different expressions & mix of emotions. The only pity was the drama did not focus much on him after Sa Woo was caught. Ending for Sa Woo was expected. If he lives on, he will live with guilt forever...death is the best ending for him.
Kim Seung Woo was the support cast here, and he did his best to play the North Korean guy. Haha! Character development was not the focus for Park Chul Young, but he's an important link to the developments of Hyun Joon's fate later on. All in all, it's hard to fault this A-lister. Haha!
Ladies turn now. I guessed Kim Tae Hee invited most criticisms, as she's more well-known for being a CF star instead of an actress. Well, she tried hard to prove us wrong, but I think she's not the best person to act as Seung Hee. Actually, Seung Hee was the most interesting role in IRIS, coz' she simply too mysterious. Lots of question marks popped out with SH's real identity...and we were not given a clear answer even after the drama ended. I think Miss Kim really gotta work harder on her expressions....she just pales in comparison to Kim So Yeon.
I always think KSY was underrated. After her damn famous role in "All About Eve", the lady's fame just went down...and kinda being forgotten. Thanks to "Gourmet", KSY returns to the small screen proper and she managed to prove her acting again in "IRIS". She's a better actress than KTH, and she portrayed Sun Hwa so well. The scene where she bid farewell to Hyun Joon was really damn sad...all the emotions came out, though it was quite a "quiet" goodbye. I thought they would get rid of Sun Hwa, but she survived! (Will she appear in season 2?)
Nice to see T.O.P here. He did not have much scenes, but his expressions were good for a cold-blooded assassin. The scene where he killed his "girlfriend" Mi Jung was quite "shocking"...but then, we knew he was using her all along.
IRIS's osts were packed with lots of songs from big names like Kim Tae Woo, Lee Jung Hyun, Seo In Young, Baek Ji Young, Big Bang, Shin Seung Hoon.
Looking forward to see if LBH will win his daesang in KBS drama awards at the end of the month.

TV Drama Review #221 - The Four 少年四大名捕
No. of Epis: 24Year/TV Stn: 2008/TVB
Cast:
Raymond Lam ~ Cheng Ya Yu/Wu Qing
Kenneth Ma ~ Tie You Xia/Tie Shou
Sammul Chan ~ Cui Lue Shang/Zui Ming
Ron Ng ~ Leng Ling Qi/Leng Xie
Selena Li ~ Lan Ruo Fei
Kate Tsui ~ Sang Zhi Yan
Synopsis: (edited from Thoughts on TVB blog)
Hardhearted and smart Wu Qing became a cripple when he was young. Fortunately for him, he met Zhu Ge Zheng Wo (Dominic Lam), the Head of the Sheriff Bureau, and has learnt from him his unparalleled skills of using concealed weapons. Zhu Ge has once helped the Song Emperor recover an invaluable piece of article that the empire has long lost. To reward Zhu Ge, the Emperor reopens the Sheriff Bureau. In addition to Wu Qing, Zhu Ge recruits Zui Ming, a cunning swindler, Tie Shou, an honest guy who strongly believes in justice and a cold-blooded killer Leng Xie.
The Sheriff Bureau has cracked many difficult cases under the leadership of Zhu Ge. After having gone through thick and thin with the others, Wu Qing is less arrogant & starts to appreciate others. He has fallen in love with Song Zhi Yan, a rookie physician. On the other hand, Tie Shou promises to take care of Ruo Fei, after her father, Chief of Blue Sky sect, was killed in a contest. Soon, Tie Shou was suspected for murder, and someone intentionally wanted to sow discord among the Four. Tie Shou & Wu Qing's relationship deteriorates after their true identities were revealed, and the situation gets worse as Tie Show is convinced that Zhi Yan killed his older brother.
Prince Qi and the treacherous minister Cai Jing are plotting to revolt against the current emperor. Zhu Ge risks his life to ruin their plan but by doing this, he is also driving the bond between him and The Four to the verge of disintegration.
Slacker's review:
I was prepared to watch an average ancient drama, but "The Four" turns out to be slightly better than what I've thought. The storyline was pretty standard, it started out with the guys cracking various cases, but the main focus of the drama was actually how the constables dealt with the prime minister. The pace of the drama was not too bad, though they could have speed up some developments. For e.g. reveal Zhi Yan's real motive slightly earlier. Normally it's not good to reveal too early la, but because of this lady, the super smart Wu Qing looked like a fool as he was betrayed by this lady again & again. (It just doesn't make sense to me, though there's a saying 英雄难过美人关. Haha!) Romances b/w the characters were the weakest part of the plot. Ending was alright, though they rushed with the romance scenes as they wanna give an end to all the couples. There's seriously not much development b/w the couples, except for Tie Shou & Ruo Fei, so the ending for the rest was pretty understandable. The most crappy scene was the last scene, when the Four prepared to fight dunno how many thousands of enemy soldiers. (Shld give a reasonable number la~)
It's Raymond again, after watching his boring role in "Moonlight". His performance was much better this time round, thanks to the character development for Wu Qing. It's rare to see a hero who was confined to his wheelchair, but the guy was pretty mobile. Raymond looked damn smart & handsome in his ancient dressing, and I liked Wu Qing, except for his romance with Ms Sang. Hahaha! (And it's Kate Tsui again~)
It's obvious who are the lead guys in "The Four". Besides Raymond, Kenneth is the other guy. Tie Shou is the standard character in almost all ancient dramas. (There must be a super righteous guy right?) Tie Shou was pretty rash & nearly lost control of himself after so many incidents happened to him. I thought Kenneth did pretty well with those scenes, and I loved his chemistry with Selena! I only liked this couple....they were so funny together~!
Sammul's performance was not too bad here. I never thought that he could be comedic. Haha! Anyway, Zui Ming was the guy who provided comic relief la, but I only started to like him after he "grew up" a little. Ha! His romance line with You Dong, Tie Shou's sister was hardly touched on, and they did not end up together. (I wished Zui Ming stopps her from leaving...)
I never liked Ron. His acting was the same as before, very stiff. It's worse when his lines were limited (Leng Xie was a quiet fella~). I thought this character suited Ron perfectly, but he was underused la. Romance line with Xiao Dao was pathetic, there's no romance b/w them actually. Anyway, it would not be convincing for a cold-blooded ex killer to soften his heart so easily for a girl.
I loved Selena Li. Ruo Lan is not a difficult character to act, but Selena just shine with this character. I liked her bickering scenes with Tie Shou, and when they showed their feelings for each other. It's just so sweet to see the couple la~ XD.
Kate ah Kate....She's beautiful here, but kinda too modern for an ancient role? Anyway, Zhi Yan was quite an interesting character, coz' she did not appeared to be what we saw on the surface. Kate's expressions were quite extreme-lovely smile when she's the good physician, and expressionless when she's on her mission. I was surprised that TVB did not get rid of Zhi Yan in the end! (She shld have die la~hahaha!)
Theme song "Feng Bao" by the four guys. Sadly, the song was boring.

Don't Look Back/Ne Te Retourne Pas
--Cathay Cineleisure--
Synopsis: Jeanne (Sophie Marceau) – a writer, married, with two children – starts to see unsettling changes in her home. Her body is beginning to change. No one around her seems to notice. Her family dismisses these fears as the result of the stress of having to finish her next book, but Jeanne realizes that something far deeper, far more disturbing is taking place. A photograph at her mother’s house sends her in search of a woman in Italy. Here, transformed into another woman (Monica Bellucci), Jeanne will discover the strange secret of her true identity.
My first French movie with E.W. I had reservations for European movies as they tend to be "hard to understand". Well, "Don't Look Back" was not a straightforward movie, but it was not set to be very confusing & complicated. Surprisingly, I thought the movie was not too bad, despite having extreme reviews. A woman started to have strange illusions of her family & house, and failed to recognise her loved ones & when she's on the street, started to see herself changing into another woman & even her husband & mum looked different. Finally, she decided to find the answer. Who were the "mum" & "husband" she saw beforehand?
After the truth was out, the storyline seemed to be kinda familiar...but I liked the director's way of portraying the story. It was a little disturbing to see Sophie & Monica's face merged together when Jeanne was transforming. Haha! But well, that transformation was cool. I was a little confused with the ending...is Jeanne back to normal? (she's supposed to be Rosa, her real identity). Or the two co-exist together now?
Sophie Marceau is a famous French actress, and she actually played a villain role in "The World is not Enough"! Anyway, the first part of the movie focused on Sophie la, and her acting was great. Those mixed emotions- confused, scared, anger, depressed & insanity were clearly displayed through Jeanne.
Monica Bellucci is a famous Italian actress who can speak fluent French. She's the focus in the second part of the movie where Jeanne went to Italy to find out the truth. (Got chance to listen to some Italian too~) Monica's performance was not too bad, but compared to Sophie, she was not given the chance to portray the Jeanne with complexity.
Hope to see other good European films someday~

I'm back to this mall again! Showed E.W ard the place, and I went to show her the Fossil watch which I plan to buy for my next birthday present. In the end, I got a mix n' match Fossil watch from E.W...yeah my super advanced birthday gift! The watch is cool, as I can swop my watch face with any straps available, and I can just buy a new watch face or strap when they got new designs. Perhaps I gotta thank the salesperson for his good service....hehe!

Dharma Class Gathering
--Kampong Ubi CC--
Attended our first ever Dharma Class Gathering in the afternoon with our two teachers. I did not know my classmate booked a Karaoke room. Lolz~ Anyway, it's a joint gathering with the graduated class la, and their teacher taught me last year :) Well, a big realisation after this gathering...many of my classmates loved to sing! Lolz~ (Imagine a lot of them are aunties...haha!) So, since all of them are older than me, u can guessed what kind of songs they sang la. Hahaha! Yeah oldies~ Ah Ching just sat there happily eating my food while I listened to them. Our teachers sang quite a few songs too :D
After studying together for 3 yrs, some of my classmates bothered to organise this gathering. Seriously, we should have meet up more often. Well, one more yr to go before we graduate from the course, I bet most of us will lose contact after that.
And it's about time to think if I should continue after my 4th yr.

Work . Life
--Working for 2 months--
Ah Ching's life is pretty much about work now....cmi~
This week is quite an "eventful" week for me, coz' there were quite a few silly mistakes made by my team, and of coz'...me la. Well, I can only count myself lucky as my boss is still here. I can't afford to make such mistakes again when I change a new boss.
A new realisation....I think I can be quite a workaholic, if I choose to be one. (but I'm supposed to be a slacker right? haha~)
I'm getting to know more abt my "neighbours" bit by bit. Yeah...the call centre folks. Haha!
Anyway, had another short "drinking session" with boss & WL, the call centre manager, who happens to stay near me (oops~). Don't worry, Ah Ching had the usual "looks like milk tea" iced lemon tea & ate some finger food. Got to know some stuffs about my company...hohoho! Well, had a nice chat with WL on our way home...so she's quite a traveller~ Hehe! WL asked if I like my job (or something like that), and I did not give her a direct answer (is "not bad" a good answer?). My job is routine, but there are lots of things which are still not included in the routine process. Load is getting heavier, and I haven't grasp the new stuffs yet. I'm starting to feel the stress from my responsibilities, but I think I can handle it :) I guess I can only answer that question after my contract ends. Lolz~
Apart from work, Ah Ching has started to record down her expenses. I never really know how much I could spend in a month, so now I was "shocked" to know that amount, and that's really nothing compared to those who shop etc... I think I will get use to the figures soon...haha! E.W told me to save 40% of my salary, and I hope it will be possible for me at this stage. I intend to pick up my Nihongo again, but I definitely need to save up a big sum for that. (Don't feel like digging my personal savings..lolz~) I am curious how much money I could save after I get my first pay later this month. Dec is quite a killer month...Haha!
--Dinner--
Ah Ching has been lucky this week. Got to eat home cook food again~! This is my first time eating E.W's ketchup prawns, and it was really good. My fav sambal sotongs were just as gd, and a fish is definitely a must for "the cat". Hahaha!
P.S: Suina, I know you read my blog. Haha! Just to let u know, boss praised you when we were having drinking session leh~ Keep up the good work! :)

TV Drama Review #220 - You're Beautiful 是美男啊
No.of Epis: 16Year/TV Station: 2009/SBS
Cast:
Jang Geun Suk ~ Hwang Tae Kyung
Park Shin Hye ~ Go Mi Nam/ Go Mi Nyu
Lee Hong Ki (F.T.Island) ~ Kang On Yu Jeremy
Jung Yong Hwa ~ Kang Shin Woo
UEE (After School) ~ Yoo He Yi
Synopsis:
Tae Kyung, Jeremy & Shin Woo are members of pop rock band A.N.Jell. Their manager is finding them a new member, and he's Go Mi Nam. However, Mi Nam suffers from an injury at the last minute and his manager has to find his sister Mi Nyu to replace him temporary. Mi Nyu, who is an apprentice nun, disguises herself as Mi Nam and starts living with the guys in their house. Mi Nyu starts to fall for Tae Kyung, while Shin Woo realises that Mi Nyu is actually a girl. Soon, Tae Kyung also knows this secret, while Yoo He Yi, another pop star, threatens to spill the secret out and thus, Tae Kyung has to fake his relationship with her.
Slacker's review:
Jang Geun Suk definitely delivers this time round. It's so much better than his role in "Beethoven Virus". (Ok la, he's nt the main guy there~) Besides his odd hairstyles, I thought I really enjoyed his performance. JGS can sing, and he got the idol look. What's more? Tae Kyung is pretty much a self-conflicted person, especially with his feelings. (Stubborn guys just don't like to admit la~) Anyway, loved all his scenes with Mi Nyu, and his chemistry with Park Shin Hye was great.
Ms Park has never impressed me much with her acting, but I thought she was great here! The switching gender role definitely gave her lots of opportunities to perform well. This "girl disguise as boy" thingy is not new in Kdrama, but there are new elements in Mi Nyu. Her formal Korean sounds so cool...haha! To be honest, Ms Park still looked girlish with her boyish haircut, and her voice was not very toned down, a little unconvincing here, but I guessed the scriptwriters wanted the guys to find out her true identity soon la.
The lead singer of pop rock band F.T. Island was such a funny guy as Jeremy! Hong Ki looked so different leh! Please return to ur normal look soon~ It's a pity Jeremy was a support role in the drama, and his scenes were not a lot. Anyway, I enjoyed all his quirky scenes with Mi Nyu :)
Jung Yong Hwa is very new to me, and his performance was not too bad. There were many ppl shipping for Shin Woo & Mi Nyu, but we knew that the chance for tt to happen is pretty lo~ (I am TK-MN shipper..paiseh~) Shin Woo was the gentleman in the drama, and he's super understanding to the girl, but the guy who loses out always try to snatch the girl away by some methods. Anyway, he's not a baddie here.
Finally, we got another real idol from After School. UEE is pretty famous nowadays, and surprisingly, her acting was not too bad for a newbie, though she cld be quite expressionless. I nv liked Yoo He Yi from day 1, coz' she's always snatching our TK away from MN! Well, in the end, she shifted her attention to the real Mi Nam, damn funny la.
The OSTs for the drama were pretty good, even Park Shin Hye sings well. There are songs from A.N.Jell & the main leads. Do give them a try~

CC Gang Gathering: SC's birthday celebration
--The Twilight Saga: New Moon @ Cine--
I seriously regretted watching this movie, can only blame myself for being late. Lolz~ Even though "Mulan" is not any better, I thought at least there are lots of actions going on. "New Moon" was really like what the reporter reviewed in the newspapers..."Qiong Yao styled vampire love story". The tempo of the movie was slow, and the dialogues b/w the characters were mushy. Very very little actions this time round, and the storyline was just boring. I could not say that the new director was good in terms of how the movie was shot, but the flow of the movie was a lot better than the 1st one. I guessed the highlight of this movie was when Jacob removed his shirt. Wahahha! (I could hear KH's "woooohhh"...) Conclusion: Women loved muscular guys...faintz~
Btw, I did not know that M1's "one for one" promotion got include popcorn combo eh! Damn worth the money sia~
--Dinner @ Ah Yat Tian Xia--
Finally, we came to "Ah Yat" for meal. The service was surprisingly lousy here...the waitress was confused with our orders, and had to double check for a few times. The waiter who served us was not very professional, and his mandarin cannot make it. Haiz... Luckily, the food was still not that bad. Have to pardon me for the inaccuracy of dish names...
CH's chicken baked rice with Portuguese sauce.
My set meal #1 - milk tea. (not nice~)
My set meal #2 - chicken w/ song rong doubled-boiled soup. (The soup was delicious~)
My set meal #3 - Baked fried rice w/ abalone.
KH's Pork baked rice with Portuguese sauce.
SC's Fish fillet baked rice with Portuguese sauce.
--313@Somerset--
Went to shop at the new mall after our meal, and the place was damn crowded. Saw a pretty watch at Fossil though...hehe!
