Among the Great Apes with Michelle Yeoh

Orang-utans - whose name means "persons of the forest" are among the planet's most endangered primates, and they are the only great ape found in Asia. Once ranging from China to Java, orang-utans now survive only on the islands of Sumatra and Borneo.
Michelle is hopeful that the documentary will allow viewers to see the beauty of orang-utans in the wild.
"We need to protect these wonders. If we don't, orang-utans will go extinct."

PCAS 2011
Used up hours in the morning to write my speech text for closing ceremony:
" (Salutation) Selamat petang saya ucapkan dan Salam satu Malaysia.
Sebelum saya teruskan ucapan saya, izinkan saya bertutur dalam Bahasa Inggeris.
First and foremost, I would like to thank all of you for your willingness to attend and support this wonderful event. And YES! You have made the correct choice for being a part of this program. This program cintai alam sekitar is meant to be organised by us medical students for ourselves as medical students.
PCAS is one of the annual Major program organised by Persatuan Mahasiswa/i Fakulti Perubatan UKM (PERSIAP). This year the theme is "Go Green! Help Clean!". This program is still and hopefully will be continued from one year to another, considering the importance of protecting and preserving our mother earth.
We hope that by organising such program, we can create the awareness among medical students regarding the concept of Go Green. What we as young adults, as medical students can do to save the earth? How can we continue this good effort even after we graduate, even after we become a doctor and serve the community? I truly hope that we as future doctors, not only focus on achieving distinction academically, heal the patients, but can actively play our role in healing the world, make it a better place. For you and for me And the entire human race.
This morning we were glad to have 2 internationally well-known NGOs, who have been actively involving in major and minor environmental-related events as well as disaster relief, to join us in the exhibition and eco-friendly merchandise sale. They are Taiwan Buddhist TzuChi Foundation Malaysia (KL & Selangor branch) as well as World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Malaysia. And we also have Amazing Green Explorace, environmental quiz, video screening to name a few, being carried out this morning.
Some events and competitions under the name of "Go Green! Go Recycle!" were started early this week. These includes the recycling campaign, science fair, not forgetting the 1st and ever photography competition with the theme same as PCAS theme for this year: Go Green! Help Clean!. We are glad to have great response from students.
Perhaps the concept of Go Green is still not familiar to some of you. Perhaps it is still quite new to some of you. Why not start it with a small step? I strongly believe that with even the least or minute effort from each and everyone of us can make a huge difference to our environment as a whole.
We learn, we practice, and we share.
With that, I end my speech. Thank you."

Leopard Prints
Leopard prints or animal prints in general have been popular in fashion world all this while.
If you think leopard prints are totally wild, associated with bad girls, or only for adults, you're definitely wrong!
Besides than wild and sexy, it can be lovely, feminine, and gorgeous! It can surely add some sparks and spices into an initial dull monotonic plain outfits! But at the same time have to be aware that overly done with all the dots and printings will only make the whole looks unappealing!
So..all depends on how you choose the ones best suit you as well as how great your fashion sense and your skills in mix & match!
Below are my collage of leopard-print collections. Of course, of those of my favorite styles!

Well animal print lovers can still be animal lovers at the same time! Go for the designs that do not actually use the genuine animal fur or skin. Choose alternatives or at least reduce the consumerism in genuine animal fur or skin products to the minimum. At the same time, one can prevent burning a hole in the pocket in the long run too!

One important thing I need to point out is the issue of animals suffer or being killed for the sake of clothing trade, laboratories, factory farms and the entertainment industry. Many NGOs are working hard for the rights of the animals. Eg People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).Well animal print lovers can still be animal lovers at the same time!
