Avery's first football game

Back in October, Avery and Bill went to a Klein football game.  Laura is a standleader this year, and they went to support her.  I'm pretty sure it ended up being one of Avery's favorite nights ever.  She got to go on the field and run behind the football team.  Bill said that she got LOTS of attention from all of the other standleaders, and it made her feel so special.

Avery still talks about this night.  What sweet memories for my girl!

Happy Halloween!

Halloween day was lots of fun.  We had a little playdate in the morning.

My bumblebee ready to party!

Bill put on a mullet and some redneck clothes and just loved surprising/scaring the daylights out of the kids.  Poor Chlo girl had no clue who he was...

Mike, Tiff, and Logan came by right before we left for trick or treating!

We had a great time trick or treating this year.  Ave loved going door to door and Chloe just took it all in from the stroller.

Ready!

Afterwards, Avery really wanted to pass out candy.  Unfortunately, most people had gone at the same time as us so there were not many trick or treaters left.

Waiting so patiently

Waiting not so patiently :)  She decided that she REALLY loved candy that night.

Checking out sissy's loot.

What a fun family day!

Fall is Here!

I love nothing more than some good traditions.  They make me happy.  I look forward to them.  I live for them.  Well, not really but you get the point.  This time of year brings so many exciting activities and traditions which is why it really is my favorite time of the year.

We've been going to Faithbridge's Fall Festival since Avery was 3 months old, and it always is so much fun for our family.  Unfortunately, Chloe got sick right before the Fall Festival this year.  I had to work hard not to weep tears of sadness since she would miss the first time she could actually participate.  Oh well, this is life.  Bill stayed home with her, and Avery and I had a great time anyway.

Superhero and a princess.  So cute.

Lily's costume is perfection :)

Friends!

Sophia and Savannah came too!  These girls absolutely adore each other although you'd never be able to tell by this picture!

Such sweet buddies

Gibson couldn't have looked cuter in his Buzz costume!

Frozen has officially taken over the world.  Four Elsas were coloring in four different costumes.

The "potty game" was Avery's fav.  She had been talking about it for weeks.

Aunt Kel applying Ave's tattoo.  She came home pretty tatted up.

Love her

Meanwhile, my poor girl needed to be held to sleep.  She couldn't breathe out of her little nose.

Later that weekend, we went to another favorite, the pumpkin patch!

Chloe was still on the mend, but was feeling a lot better so she was able to come!  She just stayed away from the other kids.

That evening, Kelly came over to help carve our pumpkin.

Avery was so very brave to pluck out one single seed.  She's not a fan of the "guts".

Meanwhile, Chloe went in blindly.  She isn't scared of much.

Bill loves making the seeds.  This year they were not only edible, they were pretty good.

It wouldn't be pumpkin carving time without Grace's Halloween Pjs.

Kel was so kind to carve out Avery's pumpkin face while I kept the kids away from the knife.

Another beauty!

I really hope that my kids will have fond memories from these days.  I know I will!
