Hooray! I've finished 1st year! I'm only a week away to flying home!
I'm now in the midst of settling everything for the summer. Storage, changing addresses, phone bills, library books etc. It's so troublesome. don't have my secretary (mother) to do these things for me anymore...
Summer here i come!

Once again, exams loom.
I can't wait for the summer hols! 4 long sunny months....
But for now, it's work. What you sow, you will reap!
Ok i should blog something substantial. I came across this facebook group yesterday titled: Christians should bless and not curse their enemies : Cho Seung-Hui.
Now alot of people wrote on the group wall that they did not like the idea of forgiving this guy, Cho. They refused to forgive him, quoting Luke 17:3, and also saying that since Cho did not repent, therefore he did not deserve to be forgiven.
(If you don't know who CHo Seung-Hui is, he's the guy responsible for the Virginia Tech shooting. He killed 33 people including himself)
Now i guess i can understand where these people are coming from. In their anger, they are reluctant to forgive. The Bible says that if a person REPENTS, we should forgive. But does that mean that even if he/she does not repent and ask for forgiveness, we as Christians should forgive?
I think we should forgive, no matter what. It's as simple as that. By forgiving, we release our anger towards the trespasser to God. If you think about it, if we do not forgive, we are setting ourselves up for being hurt by the trespasser again! We are depending on the trespasser to repent so that we can forgive, so that we can then be healed. It may not be easy to forgive, especially if someone killed your friends! No, it will not be easy, but it is simple.
I read this from a website, it really is quite cool:
Hanging on to a grudge is like keeping a DINOSAUR in our living room. It's a painful creature from the dead past which we choose to keep alive in the present. The truth is, it really is within our power to choose otherwise, and particularly with God's help.
