BELOW: Light Macros and Abstract Photo Art

Toys car, apparently with some personality, are wishing to get to Florida to race at Daytona! They are sitting atop a map of the state of Florida. It’s good therapy to use imagination and entertainment in photographic efforts. Abstracts generously supply both ambitions.

The next two photographs demonstrate Abstract Drawings.

Abstract Drawings

The first drawing photographed is of a loose free-hand lighthouse image, using markers, ink pens, and colored pencils, while the second one is of a more precise abstract with curves and straight lines accomplished by using rulers and other tools.
BELOW: A photograph of a drawing with acrylic paint. The drawing’s inspiration came from a photograph of patio chimes taken late at night. So a photograph became a drawing and became a photograph again. That’s definitely abstract-ish thinking!

BELOW: Abstract Patterns

Patterns are everywhere! They are fun to photograph in the abstract using a little invention, or taking them as they are already formed. The pattern ABOVE is contrived with the person’s legs placed between both sides of an iron bench and its shadows.
BELOW: A Rubix Cube up close, which also categorizes it as a Light Macro

Take some hours away from serious work to have fun with your photography!
