After a long long time, New YorK pizza was spotted again. The last time I ate it was when it was opened at Century square. hmm.. that was when it was ard the yr 2001? so it's nearly 8 yrs down the rd that I finally realise that it's descendant is at the Cathay. lolz.. Ordered the Mahattan today, and it does taste abt the same as before.. =)

Walking along the shops, Spotted GTA IV on sale. It came at a surprisingly cheap price $29.90 for original. The drawback is that the instruction manual is in Chinese. Well, something like a parallel import. I still got it due to 2 reason, it's not as if I can't read Chinese, secondly, it's not as if I'll read the manual in the first place.. lolz.. that seldom happens to any game that I play..

Well, I did have a copy of it before buying the original one, but then hor.. there's some bug in the game, keep spinning left and right.. make me giddy.. So I rather get the original one.. Hopefully Can use my sis com to play.. And what a time to get it.. when I'm into SIMS 3 also.. lolz.. how to split my time up..

Life has been passing by.. Don't know how many days have passed either. Daily routine includes tuition in the morning, working on in the afternoon, couch potato for the rest of the day ( either reading book or staring at the 15.4" screen ) Occasionally meeting up with frens adds some spice to the life.

Currently, training for IPPT, that's coming up this sat, thereafter on 1st Aug, comes Osim Tri.. I'm still training up for it. Should be in time I guess. 1.5hrs should be a decent timing?

At times, teaching tuition can be enjoyable as well. it all depends on the kid. High blood pressure to enjoyable fun time.. Which one occurs more often?

My 2 lovely tuteee...

went to Jurong birdpark today, due to the complimentary tickets i got from blood bank. Regular blood donors in the year 2008 was able to get 2 complimentary tickets. yeap, and it was quite worth my time there, especially since my last visit to birdpark was like 12 yrs ago with primary sch .

Anyway, bird park is relatively smaller when compared to the Zoo. They show case quite a few variety of species though still quite limited in my view. Quite impressed by the staffs and preparation made by blood bank. They even prepared packed lunch set for every guest can.

The stuffs that they prepared for all invited guests..

Begun the tour with the penguins.. walking left right left right.. so cute..

mandarin ducks in the water..

Standing like a statue

orange flamingoes.
Locked in a cage..

We crazily spent $22 to get a photo taken.. lolz. I was just high for the day I guess

Lover bird. always appearing in a pair.. with a rare 3rd party appearing at times

The biggest eagle in the world.. Wing span spreads over 2.3m..

Bald eagle..

Ostrich eggs !!! so many of it

baby ostrich.
this are just some of the nicer ones that i like. All in all, I enjoyed my short little stay in the Jurong bird park, and I would say it's still a world class attraction.

I've signed up for OSIM tri 2009. Looking at my current fitness, I decided to just take the sprint distance instead of the Olympic Distance (OD).. yes, I'm quite sure that I will still be able to complete the OD at the current state, but it won't be an enjoyable race due to the strain it will have. to go for sprint, at least I still have some time to train properly and have a good race on 1st Aug. This time rd, it'll just be a trial for myself, not so much of hitting a personal best time or anything.

I hate waking up early in the morning, especially so if I've purposely change the schedule from night to the morning, and find out that I've got nothing at night eventually. I'm not so much of a morning person.. The day should just start at 12 noon everyday instead, that would make things easier..

Sometimes I really wonder, am I missing out something by joining a boys' school in secondary? or have I gained lots that I wouldn't have if I didn't ? or perhaps it's just my personality that resulted me in such a situation? I've long noticed that I tend to made good frens with individuals here and there, and rarely do I hang around with the same clique often. Sometimes it sets me back thinking how it would be like to have a grp of fren, who u call buddies, hanging ard most of the time, just chilling out without reasons.

I used to be very busy with all my activities, leaving little time for my frens and it sort of became a habit that they know that I'm busy, hard to get me out. But when times arise that I'm free, it's sad.. No doubt, I can always find things to fill up the time every now and then, but I guess, having too much free time itself is a bit of a waste of time. I should start finding something productive to do.

I've got things to read, blading, triathlon to train, self enriching, and of high importance, is to settle what I want to major in. That's gonna make a huge impact as to what I'll be doing in the future.
