Our team members, James Campbell and Ganesh Shanmugam recently attended the opening celebration of FareShare Dingley Farm, the newest initiative from FareShare dedicated to growing fresh produce for people experiencing food insecurity. At Flavorite, we’re proud to support food relief organisations like SecondBite | FareShare, donating fresh produce year-round to help redirect quality food from landfill to those who need it most. Congratulations to the team on this incredible initiative and successful event. It was a great opportunity to see firsthand the impact this project will have on the community 🌱 #flavourforlife #foodrelief #australiangrown

🍅 Happy National Tomato Day! 🍅 Did you know tomatoes have some pretty fun secrets? 🍅 Tomatoes start as little yellow flowers before they grow into juicy tomatoes. 🍅 Some tomatoes are super tiny, like Tiny Toms, while others can grow as big as your hand! 🍅 Tomatoes are actually a fruit, not a vegetable. A tasty little fruit that adds a pop of colour and flavour to every plate. #fruitandveggiesyummyyummy

Did you catch us in the news? 🍅 We’re proud to see our commitment to supporting the communities around us highlighted in this story by Australian Associated Press (AAP). At Flavorite, donating excess produce is one way we help ensure fresh, nutritious food reaches people who need it most rather than going to waste. Through partnerships with food relief organisations like SecondBite/FareShare, surplus tomatoes, cucumbers, capsicums and more are redirected to support individuals and families across Australia. You can read the full story below and we’ve shared other publications featuring the article in the comments. #flavourforlife #foodrelief https://lnkd.in/gYZTi5Uf

International Women’s Day is a reminder that progress doesn’t happen by chance - it happens through intention, collaboration and a commitment to developing people. In industries like horticulture and agriculture, the work can be demanding, and the pathways haven’t always been obvious. That’s why creating opportunities for growth, learning and leadership is so important. At Flavorite, we’ve been focused on building a stronger foundation for our people through greater collaboration and a clearer approach to talent development. By introducing a structured talent framework, encouraging mentoring and knowledge sharing, and creating space for people to learn from one another, we’re helping to support the growth of our current and future leaders. These initiatives are about more than programs - they’re about creating an environment where people feel supported to develop their skills, share their ideas and contribute to the future of our industry. On International Women’s Day, we celebrate the women across our teams whose expertise, leadership and passion help drive our business forward every day. Their contribution is a powerful reminder that when we invest in people and support each other to grow, we strengthen not only individuals but the entire organisation. #InternationalWomensDay #Leadership #TalentDevelopment #Horticulture #flavourforlife #flavouryourfuture #flavouryourcareer

On Friday February 27th, we had the pleasure of welcoming a group of Agricultural Science students from the University of Melbourne to Flavorite for a hands-on look at how we grow. Led by our Senior Grower, Jarrod Willemse, the students stepped inside our glasshouses at our Warragul site to see our growing systems in action, from crop management and plant health to the technology and precision that underpins modern protected cropping. It’s always energising to connect with the next generation of agricultural leaders. Sharing real-world insights, answering thoughtful questions and showcasing the innovation behind Australian horticulture is something we’re incredibly proud of. A big thank you to the students for your curiosity and engagement - we look forward to seeing where your careers in agriculture take you 🌱 Shout out to Kim McAuliffe and Shalise Tabone from the People Team for coordinating the visit.
