DC This little light of mine

Here is the Daring Cardmakers' final dare for 2013.

For the last dare of 2013 we have. for you....

'This Little Light of Mine'

Lights are always associated with Christmas - candles, stars, fairy lights - and those "tiered" candle holders from Scandinavia which I can't remember the name of - I'm sure someone will let us know.....

So please use any sort of light associated with the Christmas Season on your cards - and you have an extra long time to join in with us this time!

We'll be back on January 10th to start another year of cardmaking challenges, and we hope you'll be back too - so now it only remains for us to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year from the all of us here at the Daring Cardmakers

DC Christmas movie quote

I love the movie Elf and this has to be one the best sayings from the movie! So this week I am challenging you to use a quote from your favourite Christmas movie on your card.

Watching Christmas movies is no tradition in my family/in my country (as far as I can tell) at all, but I have seen a few …

So here’s my card. Can you guess which movie it is from?!

Diese Woche möchten wir Daring Cardmakers ein Zitat aus eurem Lieblingsweihnachtsfilm auf euren Karten sehen. Weihnachtsfilme sind in unseren Breiten ja nicht ganz so beliebt, wie bei unseren englischsprachigen Freunden, aber schaut doch mal hier nach Filmzitaten.

Mein Zitat heißt auf deutsch:

Ich werde einfach unter dem Mistelzweig darauf warten, dass mich jemand küsst.

DC December colours

Zuzana picked the colours for our monthly colour challenge at the Daring Cardmakers.

And here’s my card. (It’s the cute penguin (digital) stamp from Pink Petticoat … I just had to buy it after seeing it on the other Design Team members’ cards a few weeks ago. Isn’t it too cute?!)

Zuzana hat die Farben für die monatliche Farbkombi der Daring Cardmakers herausgesucht. Die Farben sind wunderschön und das ist mein Kärtchen dazu.

(Den goldigen Pinguin musste ich einfach kaufen, nachdem ich ihn vor ein paar Wochen auf den Karten einiger Kolleginnen gesehen habe. Er ist bei Pink Petticoat auch gerade im Angebot.)
