week’s dare which was chosen by Lythan for our Daring Cardmakers blog.
It is Lythan's turn to think
of a challenge and I have gone for one that allows for "seasonal"
choices but is also something fun if you have either smugly made all your cards
or are still in denial about what happens near the end of December...
Something Old, Something New
Most paper crafters have something in their stash that they have bought but
never got round to using.
I have tons of old
things (I saved some papers for ages, because I just couldn’t bring myself to cut
them apart …) and new things that have never been used. One or two things are
actually still in their original packaging =).
Here I used old ribbon and a stamp, which I bought two years ago, and my brand new embossing folder. I got the embossing folder from our lovely sponsor x cut (x cut Mistletoe Frame Embossing Folder A6) a few months ago and never used it before.

Diese Woche hat sich Lythan die Herausforderung der Daring Cardmakers überlegt. Sie möchte, dass ihr alte und neue Bastelsachen kombiniert. Das sollte kein großes Problem sein, oder?
Ich habe noch einiges Material, das ich aus verschiedenen Gründen seit Jahren horte (es gibt Papiere, da kann ich mich einfach nicht überwinden sie zu zerschneiden!) … und es gibt ein oder zwei Sachen, die noch originalverpackt im Bastelschrank liegen.
Für die Karte heute habe ich altes Band und einen Weihnachtsstempel, den ich vor 2 Jahren gekauft habe, mit meinem nagelneuen Embossing Folder von x cut (x cut Mistletoe Frame Embossing Folder A6) kombiniert. Unser lieber Sponsor hat mir im Sommer auch ein par Weihnachtssachen geschickt, für die ich bisher keine Verwendung hatte.
