Wordplay!

As we wave farewell to February, let’s use this month for inspiration in a different way. Make a FEB card! Use something beginning with each of those letters in your creation. So it might be a foiled elephant juggling a ball, a blue fairy with an embossed background, a baby card with flags and embroidery thread…

What can you come up with that’s FEB? Don’t forget to tell us which items you’ve used in case we don’t spot them!

Um den Februar würdig zu verabschieden, geht es diese Woche darum Dinge mit den Anfangsbuchstaben FEB auf deiner Karte zu verwenden.

Vielleicht ein blauer Elefant mit frischen Blumen, eine Babykarte mit einem embossten Hintergrund und einem Fuchs? Oder eine Frühlingskarte mit Eiern und Blumen?

Ich habe eine Babykarte mit einem Elefant, einem Ballon und Blumen (= flowers) gebastelt.

Was ist deine Idee? Zeig uns deine Karte und schreibe deine FEB-Idee auf.

In the Nick of Time

It's Rizwana here with this weeks new challenge. Time is of the essence! Use clocks or anything to represent time on your card, including watches, hourglasses, sundials or pocket watches.

I made a back to school card for my colleague. We’re currently in the middle of our school year and the Carneval holidays are starting next Friday!

But it’s never to early to think about the year ahead. And I don’t care which classes I will be teaching as long as it’s with her 😉.

Na, super. In der Woche, in der es bei den Daring Cardmakers um Zeit geht, hat es mit meiner Zeitplanung gar nicht hingehauen. Aber ich hatte auch extrem viele berufliche Termine letzte Woche.

Rizwana fordert euch heraus das Thema ZEIT/UHRZEIT auf eurer Karte unterzubringen.

Uhren, Sonnenuhren, Zeiger, Sanduhren etc. Was auch immer dir einfällt bzw. was auch immer du zu Hause in deinem Bastelvorrat findest.

Ich habe eine Schulanfangskarte für meine Kollegin gemacht. Wir befinden uns zwar relativ mittig im Schuljahr, und nächsten Freitag beginnen die Faschingsferien (juhuuuu), aber man kann ja nie früh genug vorausdenken. Es ist mir auch relativ egal, welche Klassen ich unterrichte werde, solange wir Parallelkolleginnen bleiben. Die Zusammenarbeit läuft beruflich und privat einfach so gut!

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and the Daring Cardmakers dare you to create a sweet card.

My Sweet Valentine

Valentines day is nearly here so I would like you to show me the love and share your Valentines makes.  Make sure your cards feature lots of shades of red and pink and of course love hearts.

I used as many hearts as possible and added the sweetest sentiments that I could find in my stash. So here’s my Valentine’s card:

Dawn möchte auf deinem Kunstwerk viele Rot- und Pinktöne sehen und jede Menge Herzen.

Ich habe so viele Herzen wie möglich auf mein Kärtchen gepackt und die herzigsten Sprüche, die klein genug für das Herzfenster waren, aus meiner Sammlung verwendet.

Enfys hat ein klasse Bild ausgewählt. Suche dir drei Elemente aus und kombiniere sie auf deiner Karte.

Ich habe mich für das Monsterablatt, die schöne Farbkombi und die großen Buchstaben entschieden. Und ein bisschen Glitzermossgummi kann auch nie schaden 😉.
