- This is a view of the interior of the dome of the Wisconsin Capitol building. Only three feet shorter than the U.S. Capitol, the interior contains a wealth of detail. Amidst the detail and looking rather small here is a mural in the center of the dome – Edwin Blashfield’s “Resources of Wisconsin.” Completed in 1913 at a cost of $8,000, it is 34 feet across.
- Here I used Photoshop to separate Blashfield’s mural from the backround, so perhaps this should really be referred to as “found in the details.”
One photo – and three interpretations – of the interior of the dome of the Wisconsin Capitol building in Madison, Wisconsin.
