Pastor Derek Melton is the Sr. Pastor of Grace Life Church. In January of 1999 Pastor Derek planted what is now Grace Life Church of Pryor with the conviction that Pryor needed a biblical church. Pastor Derek’s deep conviction is that God’s Word is powerful and is central to local church life.
Pastor Derek is a verse-by-verse expositor of God’s Word. Contextual and applicable preaching is consistent from the pulpit at Grace Life Pryor. Pastor Derek is also a retired 30-year Law Enforcement veteran – retiring in 2015 from his position as Assistant Chief of Police at Pryor Police Department.
Pastor Derek is married to Stacey and has two grown children, Cody and Lindey.
