Ok... so the competition was kind of a flop... but i'm ok with it. Really. It was an experience for us too, for we join to learn and gain exporsure, but we dun have to win. This comes from the bottom of my heart. N the thing is we were much better during practice yesterday la... cos we were like standing 1 straight line on stage, can't see and hear everyone clearly and thus lacked coordination, unlike practices where we stood in a curve. Anyway, it was fun to practice with you guys =) and i believe this is a good learning experience for all of us la... congras to grace, zong liang and wee gee who won prizes in the solo catergory too! N thanks to chou meng, jing min and hui hui who came down to support and for ur little rose stalk. n not forgetting the rest of the harmoc peeps who came down to cheer us on too!
If there is such thing again next year, i am so not gg to join again... ahahaz... there's so many old pple taking part and the feel of the music is like the same lor... so boring... they shld invite various sch to come n compete more fun mah. Hahaz...
So after the competition, meng, jing min and i went to Hans at marina sq for dinner and we went for a little shopping at marina sq. I am so in love with giordano skinny fit lo... so comfy and i like the cut and the seams. But it doesn't look v good on me leh... haiz... too cumpled at my knees and at the bottom... but it does look kind of better being folded.
I realised that i had been out for 4 consecutive nights... so tired ar... back to a sleepy and tiring week of work tml... -_-"

Anyway, it was such a tiring week at work! So glad that today's Saturday and i get to sleep till 10 plus... good good... n speaking of work... time flies ar... i have like 3 weeks left over there.... n if i didn't go for an extension... next week will be my last week alr... gosh... i'll really miss everyone there... Anyway, there's something funny abt why my initial contract is slated to end on 30th June... tat's cos yazid forgotten that i still have a month of july which is free!! Lolz... but anyway, tat's good la... dun need to feel obligated to stay till end july!
In addition, i think i'm running into sugar high with the amount of chocolates i'm indulging in over there... n some of them are quality chocolates too... lolz... the people sitting ard me (including myself) just like to bring chocolates to work and stuff our mouth with them. Just yesterday we were crowding ard a box of very good chocolates and helping ourselves to it like we're at a chocolate buffet or we're having our dinner. The reason i call it very good chocolate? Well, it's of cos they taste great la, n also there's even a card attached to it to state what is what. Heh... wat we didn't do though was to gobble the whole box up.. Think of 5 people gobbling down 30 chocs just b4 knocking off?
Heh... so we were thinking of ways to hide the chocs in the fridge w/o people stealing them (it happened to my alvin's choc biscuits, they got stolen from the fridge... lol).. so we hid the box inside a plastic bag... n use plain paper to cover it... n somemore karen still wrote the word 'vegetables' on the paper... how unconvincing... lols... after that we realised that we can actually hide the chocs in the fridge inside the HR meeting rm la... haha... so it's more safe liao... now just hope that we'll rem to take it out.
Hmmm... i have no plans lined up for the weekend except for harmoc... gg to sch for harmoc prac later (competition is tml!). I wanna go shopping! i'm so deprived of it! But i doubt have much time... haiz... i feel like buying a shawl and a jacket... but quite waste money cos i think seldom wear... wanna buy tops also!
In addition, i wanna go swimming... i am enjoying the hols... but i'm lacking time!

Supporters are totally welcome! Hehez... luckily for my section, the other 2 are very zai... grace and jackson... so i am there to provide a little more volume only... n to gain some experience for myself...
Practice yesterday was quite fun... never prac harmoc for like 3 months alr... the last time being pre-concert. Hopefully we can do good for the competition. Hee

After dinner we went to a chocolate bar inside esplanade to have
chocolate fondue and i ordered a mug of dark venezula chocolate
for drinks. Dun think i'll ever go back to that place again
though... $20 for some choc dip, banana, raisin bread and
marshmellow... n the pple there seems to have attitude
problem... except for the boss... haiz...

we make our own fondue...much cheaper this way! Hee hee...
Had another round of local hawker fare for dinner today at chomp
chomp with my parents... hehe... we ate stingray, chicken wings,
mutton soup, fried prawn mee, oyster omelette... hehe... n after
that pack tau huay home too!
I am simply eating too much... i need to go for a swim!!!

Actually there isn't much stuff to blog about... i just want to say... the holiday doesn't really feel like one... working makes it feel like a routine thing i'm gg thru in life... Morning wake up, go work, knock off and go home... monday to fri... -_-" It's sad to think that when i end my assignment, it's time to start school... boo!! I have such a non-exciting life. And speaking of which, i'm been working for 4 weeks liao... almost a month... 1st pay coming soon!! Genting Trip
So my trip started on friday night... we boarded the coach and started on our bus journey towards there... the whole thing took about 6 to 7 hours bah... Wanted to look out of the window to look at the roads but i was too sleepy to keep my eyes open. Reached Genting on sat morning at about 6 plus am... could not check in yet... we just hang ard at the lobby and waited for the adults to settle some stuff before heading for breakfast.
We had our breakfast at burger king... haha... n when we are done, we're still early... so we walked ard to explore and took some photos b4 checking in at like 10am... after settling our stuff down, it's was time to hit outside again... but we couldn't find much things to do lehz.. 1st day was basically spent gg to play pool, singing k lunch, playing bowling, walking ard the shops, taking an evening nap, watching 1145pm movie. The movie title was we are family... but it was quite lame n boring n i just fell asleep in the middle... lols... seems like this always happens when i watch movies there... after movie ended we went starbucks and i had my iced chocolate... afterwhich they were hungry and we went over to some 24 hrs kopitiam to buy chee chong fun!! haha.... n tat basically sums up our 1st day...
On the 2nd day... we had our breakfast at the chee chong fun stall again! haha... after that the 4 big kids set off to the theme park... n we really didn't take much rides... we took the monorail, bumper boat, 4D motion master, then went indoor to take the euro express (indoor roller coaster) and venice gonola (boat ride). After that we went out again and they took the swing while i watched some outdoor band perform... wanted to take the cyclone but it was so crowded! So we went for lunch at pizza hut instead and went back to our rooms for a shower...
Anyway, for the 4D motion master, we spent like more time trying to walk too an endless dark maze before reaching the theatre... the walking part seems more scary lo....
So after our shower we went to the arcade for awhile before heading for K dinner!! Haha... and i felt that it's so not worth that we spent so much on our theme park tickets and only took so little rides! So we went outside and took the cyclone as it was not so crowded anymore and the ferris wheel... then it was time to catch a movie again... went to watch the omen with my cousin while our 2 younger cousins went to watch cars... haha... the omen doesn't have a scary plot... but then it like to scare you by popping out something in the middle... hahaz... n i got like enuff scares by the time the show ended... n it was so funny when we looked ard and saw a guy covering his face that we just burst out giggling in the middle of a horror show... hahaz...
After our movie we went to take more indoor rides, and we met my cousin's little cousin johnathan... haha... went starbucks again and then took the indoor ferris wheel before we said goodbye to little jon and went to take the indoor roller coaster... wanted to take the bumper car but it was closed....
Since it was our last night there alr... we didn;t want to go back so early but everything was like closed alr... wanted to go to a pub but our 2 younger cousins can't enter. In the end we asked them to go back to the hotel 1st and we went in only to find that the bar had closed!
The next day was our last day alr... we just went for b`fast, arcade and went for K lunch again! Haha... after singing, we had like 1 hr before boarding the coach home. We went to this museum at Genting hotel to look at the history of genting and then hang ard before heading home...
And this basically sums up my short weekend trip!

Back @ work
Well... absolutely not in the mood to work...been only typing in some info for some excel cells since i came in... feeling super duper sian man... am trying to keep myself awake by stuffing my mouth with sweets and chocolates.
Anyway, this morning... my egg from the mcmuffin dropped onto the floor but i cleaned it up with a tissue and ate it and i'm feeling kinda grossed out now!!!
Genting was good... i am missing the idle kind of mood which i had over there... all we had in mind was where to go next to play?

After that we went starbucks, where i had a super large iced cocoa and an oreo cheesecake! Very nice... but i ate too much and thus felt kinda uncomfy n bloated after that.

Anyway, i was quite pissed this morning... dunno y... maybe cos i was late and cannot go market and eat my lor mee!! Haiz... n the rain doesn't make it better... in the end i didn't eat breakfast n tot of gg to the cafe to buy... but then leh... when i was in the office, i smell chwee kuey! Heh... turns out that Daniel had bought chwee kuey... n lots of it! More than enuff for the whole division... heh heh... n this solves my morning meal.
Anyway, Daniel is a very nice guy... i told him that i wanna take leave on monday... n he asked if i had any leave entitlement. I told him no and he asked if i had done any overtime, so that he can help me convert the hours into paid leave. But then it's ok cos i'm paid for overtime too... so just take unpaid leave lo...
Later after i watch finish my chang jin, i'm going genting! Hee hee... it'll be a short weekend trip. Yay! =)

Wat's up this weekend
Fisherios... i love the feel of this little counter since JC days... but they had changed their sign board since then.
The menu! We had their fish n chips as well as calamari. However, their calamari are too oily... eww... but the fish n chips are good... very fresh!
N yesterday we finally went to east coast to cycle. But never work out much really... rented the bike for 1 and 1/2 hrs... n not long after cycling our butt was aching... n to make things worse... i was hit by a very bad case of stomach ache yesterday... really feel very unwell lo... had to take a cab home... heh heh... thanks to meng n toot for accompanying me home.

N so tat's was how my sat went... everything was supposed to be fine but that tummy ache ruined everything... luckily things got better when i got home.
Slept early n woke up to an early sunday morning (9-plus), actually not that early la... haha... went j8 with my mum n we had b`fast at cafe cartel. First they served my mum's food w/o the hashbrown... n after that they came back with sunny side up instead of scrambled eggs... duh... n they didn't give me my muffin too...
After breakfast, it's groceries shopping at ntuc... n lately leh... whenever we approach the facial foam counter, there's bound to be someone promoting skincare products... haiz... then my mum went to the lee hwa jewellery shop to enquire abt y her purple gold has lost it's shine... n then they offer to polish it for free... no need to bring receipt cos they're the only dealer selling purple gold... hee... n i saw this v nice purple gold pendant too... can't see the price though... but dun think i will buy la... cannot anyhow spend money!
Anyway, next weekend i'll be going genting! Quite looking forward to it. Hee =)

Anyway, work is not bad la... the people there are nice... some i alr known previously... some only know when i went back this time... but still... it can get kind of boring u noe?? n for the past week, i had been sleeping early cos i was so tired... that i missed my da chang jin!! Arh!!! Each time i go back there to work leh... i do feel a sense of attachment n thus abit sad to think that i'm leaving soon but overall i will still be happy that i can slack la! But yet when i went back to work right at the start, i need to re-adjust myself to everything too.
Hmmm... this is just a ranting post... shall update on the wkend later... after i get some pictures... not a very smooth outing i had though..
