Will miss my usual lunch mates, without them I will end up having lonely lunches everyday, my managers and of cos my dear colleague Linda… hahaz… who has been my company for pantry breaks, tea breaks, juice breaks and toilet breaks… and someone I can whine to when I’m so super pek chek with my slow slow computer. And also the few times when we slipped to the bistro café to have breakfast and tea breaks.

It’s kind of funny when u think about it. For abt 3 months, these are the people you see almost everyday, those whom you interact with on a daily basis, the place which you have a little corner which was yours, your little territory and the next moment, you have almost nothing to do with it everything there anymore.

Anyway, it was a hectic last day. I dunno what I was doing also, running around, trying to clear up work. And we had our very first housekeeping sessions, hahaz.. which started off with a sandwich making session,followed by visiting all our cabinets to see where we stash all our stuff. It was interesting as we unveiled mysteries of wat's inside those cabinets, which dept has got the neatest/messiest cabinets which was followed by sounds of wows and laughter as light was shed. It was followed by a brainstorming session to make the place neater. We were supposed to clean up our workstation after that too but by the time we ended, too late alr liao. Me on the other hand started clearing my stuff until it was kinda bare and passed some of the things to others. Hehe.

Took lots of photos yesterday too… it was as if tourism court was a tourist attraction… haha… and while taking the photos, I was thinking, will I ever go back there again? I dunno… cos I seem to be taking so much pics, it’s as if I am saying good-bye to the place.

To end it off, I had a great parting gift from STB! And it is…. *drumrolls* a pair of tickets to watch the actual NDP show live! Hee… I was so excited when I got it lo… and I actually submitted the ans to the contest question on Friday morning itself, just before the entries were sent for balloting! So happy that I am actually so lucky. =) At 1^st I only submitted my entry for the preview tics cos I only know the answer for that one… Then yesterday lea, Alvin told me the ans for the qns to win tics to the actual show… which I only submitted this morning. And well, the person who is lucky enough to go to the show with me is none other than meng. Hahaz… heard that this yr’s show is good, definitely looking forward to that! And it's my 1st time
watching the actual live show too!

A nice classical cd

I have been sleeping too much during the day that i am so super awake now. Anyway, currently i have a new CD to listen to. A classical new age CD which linda bought from tanglin mall 'that cd shop'. I like this kind of music... if i have my own house, there shall be a nice cosy corner with alfesco lights where there'll be my comfy sofas, nice rugs and the music playing in the background. Relaxing for the soul. Hahaz.

Well, it has been quite a happening week for me as compared to my normal mundane weeks. Hahaz...

Wed evening met up with da jie da and meng at pitstop where we did our own chocolate fondue... we had so much fruits and chocolates... whahaha... actually i was feeling quite tired that day and didn't really felt like gg out le.. but since we alr arranged, we went ahead lo. The fondue was quite nice la... but i think we kinda inconvience the folks there too.

On thurs i ate subway for the very 1st time of my life! Hahaz... ate from the one in NUS, so there's discount too. I think subway sandwiches are great. Lol. Anyway, there's harmoc prac on thurs, for our performance at tanjong pagar cc in august. We are gg to perform for LKY! Our conductor came down too... but to play the piano/keyboard part.

Hahaz... anyway, harmoc is gg to resume alr... next week onwards gg to have practices for our performances and on friday, practices for the new sch term starts too... meaning we are going to get a new set of scores for a set of new songs... but i dun think i am gg to go for practice next fri... feel like gg gai gai instead... cos we'll practising those new songs for the next 9 months... all the way until soiree 2007! no worries... lol

Friday night nothing much... went home after work... and slept super early... then yesterday went back to school to customise my harmoc with the help of zong liang, who's conducting the customisation course. Anyway, i ate subway again yesterday. Lolz... shared a footlong sandwich with adeline. After the thing ended i went to uni hall to get a glass of iced choco but spinelli wasn't open! haiz... so i went out to wait for the bus to get out of nus, then travel to city hall to meet ah meng... walked ard 1st b4 meeting her at suntec for dinner... we only ate xiao long bao, mantou and dumpling at crystal jade la mian xiao long bao cos i v full... hahaz... ate a cheesecake and shilin xxl chicken while waiting for her.

After that we went to those machines where u drop 1 dollar for a capsule. Haiz... i actually spent $10 to get something i wanted but i got so many repeats n so many of those which i dun want! Sighz... But at least there's a cute pooh bear in honey pot and piglet in flower pot. I want the tigger! Actually went to try cos that day karen showed me her tigger in office. It's so cute. Now it's short of eeyore if we combine together.

Anyway, 28 July is my last day and it shall be! No more extensions! Really... n i really hope nothing happens again to sway my decision again... i realise that even a simple plea can make me agree to stay on, even though i do not seem to agree readily on the surface.

Crystal Jade xiao long bao, Extend + extend?, Lunch at botanic gardens...

Finally met up with limin yest for dinner... the last time i saw her was like last april, more than a yr ago! We ate at taka crystal jade la mian xiao long bao! The la bian was ok but i like the xiao long bao! So delicious. Definately gg to eat it again. Hopefully can get to eat the xiao long bao again someday soon... wanna try the one served in soup.

Anyway, the main issue of this entry is abt extending... haiz... i was so super sure that i am not gg to extend... well, i still dun want to la... but the thing is that i feel obligated to extend. haiz...

Conversion between alvin and me.

Early in the morning when i just went in yesterday:

Alvin: 舍不得离开啊？

Me: Says nothing and just smile.

Later on:

Alvin: So when is ur last day? End of the month?

Me: No, end of the week la...

Alvin: Oh, not end of the month ar. Stay till end of the month la.

Me: Dun want...

Afterwhich, he told others that i'll stay till end of the month, only to be followed by my protest of 'dun anyhow say hor...' Then at 1 point, he said to janet: 'she's staying till month end, i'll talk to her later' At that point i was still firm abt not extending.

Serious conversation yesterday:

Alvin: Seriously, can u still like till month end? I need your help.

Me: Har...

Alvin: Just came back from reservist, need to clear up my stuff. If you leave now, need to delegate time to handover instead of preparing other things...

Me: Can i dun reply u today?

Alvin: Think about it, anyway, u stay till month end also have 2 weeks of hols wat...

N the conversation went on and on abt how i have cca n stuff.. basically me argue that i dun have enuff time for myself n he argue vice versa... hahaha...

So the end of the month thing continues today... from actually end of next wk, 28th july... to 31st july! Aiyoh! N i keep on protesting that i won't stay till 31st... whahah... n so it goes lor... i kinda feel like ending work soon... though i like it there, i am longing for my break... but now feel obligated to stay... sighz...

Another interesting conversation today... no relation to extending:

Me: (Holding a green and red scroll, which looks christmas-ty), Eh, u want christmas chocolates?

Alvin: Hahaz... last yr Christmas u were with us arh...

Karen: So this yr also right?

Me: Should be lah....

Karen: Arh...

Me: Should be is not will be mah...

Karen: I tot should be is more definate than will be?

Me: No wat...

Alvin: Eh, december got MAs again lehz..

Me: Ur problem wat...

Alvin: Ok la, dun want dun want lor... u dun want to earn the money got lots of other people who wants the job...

Ok... so i guess i shouldn't be so 欠打 and show them attitude problem... anyway, job offers do not come easy... especially for a month of short break.... hahahaz. So i will stay until when leh? I also dunno.... haiz...

Anyway, we went to botanic gardens newly food court for lunch today... me n my usual lunch khakis went 1st then after that i think almost the whole division went there to eat also... hahahaz... contrary to what we tot... it's actually quite near.. nearer than walking to wisma... hahaz... shared roti john n murtabak with linda... n they have one stall there specially selling crabs! So cool! hahaz... they were thinking of maybe gg there again tml... lolz

Oh well, my update of the week. On thurs the whole division except me went to
bukit timah nature reserve for div dialouge. Leaving me all ALONE in the office.
Haha... time kinda flies when they were not around. Wanted to go home at 5pm but
my oh so ancient desktop is functionally so slowly that i only managed to leave
at the usual knockoff time... Sighz.

Anyway, linda was so excited abt seeing monkeys that she brought her camera
... so we decided to take photos in the office too! Haha... but too bad we
didn't went downstairs to take a pic of the koi pond like wat we wanted to do
originally. Anyway, these are the pics...

Anyway, i am extending for one more week... and i am super sure that i won't
extend any longer though... wahaha... i need my break. Seriously. it's quite
funny that last week i was feeling quite bu she de to leave... but now i am
quite eager to end... think i really need a break =) Extending means i
will get to see alvin still cos he'll be back from reservist on monday! Hahaz.

Yep... i kind of like did nothing yesterday for work... but i was still super
tired nonetheless... went for early lunch then after that headed for HCJC with
karen for some scholarship talk... we do need more speakers ar... cos i
literally dunno how to ans their qns... gosh... leaving only karen to talk until
she sounded quite bad at the end.. haha... anyway, it was quite boring cos i had
to like stone there for 4 hrs feeling unproductive... was so tired when we got
back to office at 6 with our big banner and stuff.

Then i had gathering with my amkss mates yesterday... there were like crowds
everywhere and we only had our dinner late 8 plus... so hungry by that time
considering that my lunch was at 11 plus... gosh... we went to Mahanthan fish
market at PS but i still prefer fish and co... their food there got a very
strong herbs and cheese smell... doesn't taste v good...

Today i meet toot toot for shopping! We both bought so much stuff... hee hee...
i realise i enjoy shopping and buying alot of things... especially with things i
like... the feeling is good... retail therapy works. Lolz... i bought my gio
lime green round neck, skinny jeans! Finally... i got the skinny crop... which
is shorter that the actual jeans... but it is actually long enuff la... can fold
like ard 6 cm and reach my ankles... n it looks better on me as compared to the
jeans also. So i am very happy!! Wahahahz... last but not least, i got a pair of
sandals from wisma isetan too... it's nice... like heels but more easy to wear.
And not forgetting i managed to exchange back my pmk monkey top... the previous
one i bought ar... 1st wash only the paint came off... haha... n so i got a new
one today. I am such a happy shopper today... yohoo!

As for tml, i am just going to slack around at home and enjoy the rest of the
weekend.
