MNO Project
Hee... our MNO project was finally handed up yesterday... It was quite fun doing the project... even though we have to travel to the super far jurong bird park not once but twice cos the quality of the 1st video was cmi.
Like wat was tot in MNO, a good team is very impt to come up with something good... actually dun need MNO to teach us that la... hahaz... but very glad to have such great team members ard =)
So presenting my MNO video... it's quite blur cos the file size of the clear version is too huge... anyway, blur also good... cannot see my stupid smiling face when i was arguing. Hahaz... it's hard watching yourself on video.

Heh... so glad that impressions is over... Not surprisingly... unchained melody really sounded like broken melody... i wanna cringe listening to myself play... let alone the audience... really pity them... hahaz... n now i noe what thoese judges in sg idol and superstar meant when they say you've chose the wrong song. And ya.. sunday i met up with meng, bel and hui hui too... we haven had an outing for like so long le... went ktv and then passed bel her b'day pres... super belated... haha... n speaking of outings... i haven seen alot of peeps for so so long... i miss all of u... haha hopefully we can meet up after exams... and i'm craving for a swim too!! Though the hazy conditions doesn't make it good for one... hope the haze goes off soon... i feel happier when i see a clearer view in front of my house after the haze subside each time... hee Lost soul buried her memories on

Heh heh, we had a little celebration for mid autumn fest for the harmonica members on the day itself. Preparation started at 3 plus in the afternoon when me, li bing and li che headed to clementi ntuc to buy the food and then we went back to campus to meet the others and started cooking! Anyway, while they were still frying hash browns, i headed back for my 6pm lecture with the oily smell in my hair and clothes =S. Lolz... and the lecturer decided to let us off early so that we can go out and celebrate. Heh, after that was then bringing all the food down to src grand stand while we waited for the others to come from cfa with their lantern... Didn't manage to walk one round around the track carrying the lantern like wat i did last year though... Personally i think it's alot more fun to walk around the track with the lantern as compared to walking aimlessly back and forth when I was younger... it was so sian that we always end up burning candles and paper instead...

Anyway, one stupid thing i did was to drop bel's harmoc and cause her low G note to spoil during intermission... b4 our piece! Luckily there's only 1 low G in the whole piece i think... hahaz... actually i drop both my and her harmoc but dunno y only hers spoilt. I think shld be able to repair... if not that harmoc is super expensive!
Took some pics that day but not sure if i'll be getting them anytime soon... hahaz... will post the pics after getting them ba...

Grumbles and complains
Speaking of which, i nv enjoy any of the pub hols at all la... reason being, when a pub hol falls on sat, we generally do not benefit right? Well, so deepavali is on a sat... but yest we still need to go back to sch to do sound check for impressions... but well, i'm ok with it la... considering other pple like bel and han quan who are working so hard to make sure that everything falls in place while i just slack n do nothing... hahaz... next up is hari raya on tues... but then tues is my free day!! again no benefit!!! -_-"... hmph... but it's ok... to let go of another hol in exchange for a free day every tues... hahaz..
In addition, no lab this week... which means we only have the 'lect which we always dunno end up doing wat' as i've mentioned previously... so my fellow lect mates have plans to declare free day on wed... which means rest day on tues and wed... but i cannot cos wed is impressions day... sighz... n now they are laughing at me for my tues and wed plight... say that i'll be in charge of attending lect on behalf of everyone... yea right =P As if i will noe wat the lecturer is trying to say... lol
And then ar... something else i wanna complain abt... why is the MNO webcast buffering like every 5 seconds? Like tat how to watch? Anyway... i dun think i have the patience to watch also... most of the time i feel that the lecture content is always so empty... no substance... n i'm not the only one feeling that way... thus when i skipped one of the lect to film mno video... i realised that most of my grp mates had given up on the lects too... nv go alr... hahaz... n thus i feel that i shldn't waste my time attending too... shld read the textbook instead... but problem is i haven start reading yet... though i wanted to like long long time ago...
Speaking of reading textbooks... also need to read inorg textbook... which not surprisingly also not read yet... basically since the term started, i only noe i need to go for lect and lab and do lab reports and hand in... n in the meantime everything just seems to be whizzing by at the back of my mind...
Ard 1 month to exams... i rem toot telling me last sem that study break is the most free one... but i was telling her that the studying part does not make us free mah... but after going thru it... i can't help but find it true... maybe cos my lects all ended quite early and i had quite sometime b4 exams... my life during study break = stay at home, study (whether effective anot is another story), eat, sleep and watch tv... so 'slack' in a sense as compared to the days of travelling to sch, lects, tuts, lab and cca.... haha... but this doesn't mean i like or look forward to study break ar.... cos exams are always dreadful... the only motivation is the hols after tat... hee hee

A week's update
Yest had CM 2102 quiz for inorg section... and while reading thru the notes, i realised that i must be dreaming during lecture... haha... cos i have no recollection of wat's written there at all... best still i was totally unaware that the concepts asked in the lab report qns are actually in the
notes.. i am just so amused... lol... n to add on to the amusement, i realised that i am not the only one facing this problem yea... but well... it shows that it's really time to start studying huh? It's like 1 month and 1 week to exams... haha... really time to start paying my notes and textbooks a visit... but there's always a problem of where to start first...
As for harmoc... impressions is next wednesday... 25th Oct, 7.30pm at LT 13... admission is free... haha... but then i am not prepared at all... sianz... anyway... i think the other grps are pretty good... one grp is playing canon... my all time fav classic! And it sounds great man... maybe i can try recording it during one of the rehearsals... Anyway... adeline made quite an interesting comment abt the piece we're playing... which is unchained melody... cos we were like having some probs while practising last fri... she was saying that we change the title of the song to broken melody and we would be playing it right =P so lame but true anyway... tml we'll be
playing in front of our juniors to boost confidence... but i think i got stage fright... shall see tml.
and like finished watching it yest... 25 episodes in total... nv tried watching vcds so fast b4 ar... but i realised i had no recollection for like more than 90% of the show... makes me wonder if i caught everything while it was screening on tv. And i felt like re- watching the show yea... but must wait until exams over! Then can slowly enjoy... haha... This is a family show but not a typical family drama mama... good storyline with a strong cast... but then the ending is abit sian as read in many of its reviews found online... nonetheless still a very nice show to watch esp when it reaches the climax... hehe.

Anyway, speaking of tests, can't believe that i actually failed macro econs mid-term? Huh? Ok... some of the qns i wasn't reading properly which results in me writing the wrong ans + the fact that it's a tricky paper... sianz... actually feeling abit regret abt taking it now... hahaz... why must they incorporate so much funny symbols to make something so simple become so cheem? Sighz... hahaz... anyway, good news is that they will take the better grade from either the mid term or finals... so there is still hope... i hope... hahaz... if not it's gonna be such a bummer... And speaking of econs... i dun wanna go for lecture tml! Hahaz... my brain not in the mood to study econs now... (super bad excuse i noe)... hahaz... but on the surface it looks like can self study based on past knowledge =P... I will not go just for tml... i promise myself... Cos tml no econs tut anyway... so dun go lect means i can start my day at 2... n spend the time to study for CM2102 quiz tml... hehe
As for CM2101 microwave spectro quiz today... it was easy yet diff... hahaz... so contradicting ar... cos 1st section was on True/False but i was focusing more on calucation qns while studying so bloody hell cannot rmb most of the theory... n for calculation... dunno if i rmb formula correctly n i think i also dunno how to convert some stuff also... so i dunno lo! Lolz... if lucky then guess correctly... but i think i am unlucky la... watever lo...
On the cca side, harmonica impressions would be on the 25th oct... less than 2 weeks away! And we only practiced like twice for exco piece so far and had not started for my other grp... super duper dead le lor... n i dread the times when i was the only one playing in my section during practice for the exco piece... haiz... i need to follow someone! If not i will be lost... n lately dunno y there will be some reason or another that harmoc stuff finish at like after 1030? Then after that bus frequency will be quite low and will reach home at nearly 12... so sian man -_-... hopefully can go home earlier after impressions end... hahaz...

Mid Autumn Festival
The yummy food which took us a few hours to prepare =P
A blur shot of them setting off for the walk, does it look abit creepy? Hmmm...
Anyway, it was quite hazy that night and the moon looked kinda orangy... so it's not very nice to 赏月 this year. Heh... After a game of peeling pamelos and feasting on the food, we added to the haze problem and played with sparkles!

Both our seniors and juniors were quite successful with their display of words... The seniors even managed to form out the HO logo... whereas we kinda failed... Before that i didn't knew that we could actually form the words... tot the photos i saw from last year were totally photoshop-ed... Well, refusing to give up, we left the last bit of sparklers for ourselves and tried to form our
display just before calling it a day...
In order for the operation to be a success, we must rehearse our moves 1st...

Break ended, sch started
So school has started yesterday... i woke up feeling sleepy and remained kinda sleepy throughout the whole day in school... we had a new lecturer for inorganic chem and it doesn't help that the way he speaks makes me wanna sleep even more! Hahaz... find it hard to pay attn to what he is saying man...
Anyway, when i headed to harmoc... it's like so few people ard... some were practising in their own grps but my section was deserted... so i went to old chang kee to grab some dinner and then i decided to go YIH tv lounge to watch 金牌冰人 instead of going ard and practise/stone until combined prac starts... hahaz... that show is so nice and funny to watch! Anyway, i doubt anyone realised that i was like gone when i went back... cos the audi only have a lurking few and one big grp (which does not involve me) is practising outside...
Last fri we did filming for our MNO video but it was quite a bummer that the quality turned out bad and we had to refilm... sighz... anyway, i do hope that we can get a good grade for our project. This fri going to have econs test and presentation during tutorial... so sianz...
