I took a walk on the wild side and received more stares than I care to remember
I eschewed the findings and beliefs that have been thrust upon me since my birth
My ninth grade self feigning puppy love
I was not enamored of the pretty blonde girl who sat two seats away and to the left in home room
I had lied that I was
People believe your lies about love
It keeps their hope alive
Hope that you're a normal kid who will one day have a happy and normal family
Fooling people was fun
Laughing on the inside about how ridiculous and naive they were
I took a walk on the wild side and lived a life that people fucking hated
It was fun and tragic
