I have been waiting for over 10 years to get myself a KitchenAid stand mixer.

No, I have not broken down and bought one {yet}. But I did use one for the first time tonight.

Why have I been waiting so long?! This thing is amazing. I made some kick a*&! cookie dough without breaking a sweat. I have seen the light and will be getting myself one of these shortly.

PS. It was chocolate chip. Some of the best I've ever made.
