Each year, Fast Retailing’s Global Management Program (GMP) invites talented undergraduate students from around the world to Tokyo for an intensive 6-day business experience. From interacting with global business leaders to gaining firsthand exposure to the fashion and retail industry, GMP offers a rare opportunity to explore Fast Retailing’s business, exchange global perspectives, and grow as future leaders. Today, we’re excited to spotlight Namita Jain (Undergraduate at BIMTECH University, GMP25 – India Representative) to share her experience during GMP. ✓ Why GMP? UNIQLO has always been one of my dream companies; the brand’s global perspective and authentic storytelling deeply resonated. My university also highlighted the GMP opportunity, and I was instantly drawn to it. I applied because I wanted to understand the core of retail operations and the philosophy behind LifeWear, to learn how thoughtful simplicity can drive global business impact and shape the leaders of tomorrow. ✓ Growing journey through GMP: A lot has changed. I now view retail not just as an industry but as a living ecosystem that connects people, purpose, and product. GMP gave me firsthand exposure to global business strategy, cross-cultural collaboration, and leadership rooted in empathy. It shaped my thinking and strengthened my confidence to operate in diverse environments. For many alumni, GMP becomes more than a program – it becomes a career pathway. We’re proud to share that Namita has officially joined the UNIQLO family through the UNIQLO Management Candidate (UMC) Program. Namita: I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been selected to join UNIQLO India as part of the UMC 2026 cohort. The company’s culture of appreciation, growth, and excellence motivates me to build a long-term career here. LifeWear, as a philosophy, represents making everyday life better, and that’s a mission I’m proud to stand behind. Global Management Program is a launchpad for future global leaders ready to make an impact. • Where: FAST RETAILING Global HQ – Tokyo, Japan • When: July 26 – 31, 2026 • Who: High-achieving students worldwide Apply now, Tokyo awaits: https://lnkd.in/gwk6d_c (Application opens till Feb 20, 2026) For more recruiting info, visit us at: https://lnkd.in/eTQkNKv

UNIQLO in Korea has launched the second year of “Happy Space for Our Kids” campaign in partnership with Green Umbrella. This campaign is UNIQLO Korea’s local program for RE.UNIQLO initiative, which donates upcycled furniture to child-care shelters that need new furniture. This year, UNIQLO is donating a total of 500 pieces of upcycled furniture to 30 child-care shelters nationwide. To commemorate the start of the campaign this year, UNIQLO employees volunteered in installing the furniture for children. On January 14, store employees visited a child-care shelter located in Eunpyeong area in Seoul to replace outdated furniture with new upcycled pieces and help the area make clean. They also rebuilt a mini library with upcycled shelves and filled them with new books. #UNIQLO #LifeWear #HappySpaceForOurKids

Warmth can be a feeling, a kind word, or simply knowing you’re not alone. As winter sets in and the holidays begin, UNIQLO is supporting communities in need by donating 50,000 HEATTECH items across the United States. This nationwide initiative reaches individuals and families through four Feeding America Network partner food banks located in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Dallas. It also extends to Native communities in Pine Ridge through the Native American Heritage Association (NAHA), to youth experiencing homelessness through Covenant House, and to vulnerable New Yorkers supported by NYC Health + Hospitals. We asked volunteers and neighbors what warmth meant to them during distribution events across the country. One HEATTECH recipient shared, “Warmth is serving others from the heart. Warmth comes to me when someone accepts me for who I am and gives me love, respect, and understanding.” This effort is part of UNIQLO’s global Heart of LifeWear campaign, donating 1 million items of HEATTECH to people in need throughout the world. You can join us by donating to Feeding America at checkout in any UNIQLO store across the United States. #UNIQLO #UNIQLOUSA #LifeWear

This season, UNIQLO is carrying out “The Heart of LifeWear” campaign, a global initiative to donate 1 million items of HEATTECH and other clothing items to people in need around the world. In Korea, UNIQLO partnered with SCELA (Support Center for Elderly Living Alone) to deliver 60,000 HEATTECH thermal clothing items to 30,000 elderly people living alone who are most vulnerable during the cold winter season. To mark the closing of the campaign, UNIQLO held a kimchi-making event on December 6 at the Eunpyeong Senior Welfare Center in Seoul, together with UNIQLO volunteers and NGO partners. In Korea, it is a tradition to prepare and store kimchi during winter. For the event, we prepared 5,150kg of kimchi, delivering it to approximately 900 elderly residents in the Eunpyeong area, which is an area of Seoul with a high proportion of elderly people living alone. In recognition of the donation and of UNIQLO’s ongoing commitment to supporting elderly people living alone in Korea, on December 4, UNIQLO was designated a Merit Organization for Protecting Vulnerable Elderly, and received the Minister of Health and Welfare Commendation. #UNIQLO #LifeWear #PowerofClothing #TheHeartofLifeWear #HEATTECH #UNIQLOKOREA #Sustainability #donation
