Christian Castro, Queens ’21, started school as a first-generation LGBTQ+ college student who did not have a clue on how to navigate a commuter college. After many bumps in the road, he found his niche in Queens College’s Honors English program, where he was accepted into the accelerated BA/MA program in English literature while double majoring in Psychology. He hopes to be a professor of comparative biblical studies.
