STUDENT CENTER
Sam Addeo, Queens ’17 MA ’18, is a New York native, musician, and urbanist whose work currently resides at the intersection of museum technology, digital storytelling, and archives. With a master's in urban affairs, she helps build people-centric projects and partnerships through technology, community, and new media. She is currently the director of community and development at technology nonprofit Urban Archive.
Sam’s advice: “Explore what you're interested in, even if it's not required or on the syllabus! In my case it looked like taking a "CUNY passport" to another school to pick up GIS. When it's time to apply to a job, you'll have something to show for, and a better understanding around the kinds of work/projects you gravitate towards.”
