One of my newest projects has been making signs on wood. I have given several of these as gifts in the last month and I have just started having a few orders for custom signs. It is fun to try a new craft medium every now and then.

I have been making custom clipboards recently. From the photo I was inspired by the hot air balloon and the blue color scheme. I am not sure why, but hot air balloons make me think of hope and inspiration for the future (thus the word on my project). I was excited to find this designer paper with the balloons.
I know sick people and I decided that gift wrapping is an easy medium to relay my sentiment. I do not always have to give a card.

I actually started making a card, but I had the most difficult time working with this color combination. Traditional Christmas colors are not my strength. Then I decided to use this challenge opportunity to get one of my Christmas gifts wrapped. My mom will be the lucky recipient of this gift. She just happened to be receiving a gift that was the size that I wanted to work with. I used layers of paper to create a runner across the gift and then used 1 inch strips of red paper to fashion the bow. I stamped the tag and added buttons and sequins.
