In the Pink

Well what a great morning to be in the pink, the sun is shining and the garden is full of birds chirping happily away to each other. Its good to be alive, although its still rather cold...lol I think however my happy disposition is about to change anytime now as I have the dreaded HW to do. The place looks as though it needs bottoming as my mum would have said. Den has been a sweetheart whilst my back has been a pain, but now its time to get into harness and get moving.... Talking of Harnesses I could do with one to support my back....lol
Here is my card as time is short for Just Magnolia and hAnglar Pink challenge. It is of course Pink for Breast Awareness month, Please make sure you check your boobies ladies make it the same day each month, that way you won't forget and before long it will be so much part of your routine. It really can save your life and reduce the amount of treatment needed if caught early. xx .

CAS....YIKES!!!!!!!!!

Hi Everybody peeps, well what a challenge this was for me :O I don't do CAS very easy at all, I always want to add bits here and there. I even had to add the little snippets that came out of the punched corners and scatter them around "Sybil"...lol oh! and I added a few more to the scroll....tee hee! this was The Sugar Bowl 70 Challenge by Maria Therese Anyway once i got started on the sketch I loved it, and of course i am always a happy bunny using Sugar Nellie's

and of course the insert, I like doing my inserts although I wasn't 100% sure about this one, but its done and can't be changed now.

Talking of being a Happy Bunny, I received some Yummy candy today in the form of SN "Pippi Longsocks" which I won in the Blog Hop :)) what a little cutie she is. I am going to order some more after tea as I really want some more...did I say want!! oops! I meant NEED. Thanks so much Gayle for my yummy yummy candy

Off to do tea now as its late and hubby has gardened all day and is looking a bit thin...lol only kidding we had a lovely lunch and had coffee breaks, but it is past teatime now xx Catch up with your lovely blogs later tonight xx Hugs Mau xx

This is a card that I actually liked when it was completed...makes a change doesn't it to be satified with something I make...lol
I am actually putting it to the test as I have been getting help from our Lovely Pops on cleaning up my blog...wippee!! It was becoming so cluttered and full I was bored with visiting it myself never mind other bloggers. It is however a work in progress so be patient.... very patient..lol
I have saved all the things I want to re-introduce and will be trying to add more pages if possible, thats another big IF but Pops has been super at explaining things in simple terms, so watch this space. Well now to the card, I made it for a sweet little lass who has come to live across the road. She married her Soldier Sweetheart a few weeks ago xx I never got round to posting it on my blog at the time. I actually made my Daughter a wedding anniversary card in the same papers and liked it so much I decided it would make a lovely wedding card for Vicky.

This is the insert which I kept the sentiment very simple as we don't know her too well. I added a few personal good wishes to make up for it.

Oops!!!! now have lost my Signiture... Think its lunchtime and then another try at this..my head is aching and my brain has shrunk :O

Snuggle up close

Evening everyone,
Well chasing my tail as usual, I wanted to make my card for the Sugar Nellie Gayle's Sketch Challenge, but with all the hic-ups this week I have only just managed to squeeze it in. I almost didn't bother this week as I am not very happy with it at all. I like to be at least 30% happy with the finished card and this has fell well below that mark but I am posting it anyway....lol I think I am going backwards sometimes :(
I have decided I am going to create something Magnificent one day so you had better watch this space, but don't hold your breath for goodness sake....rofl xxx BTW sorry the piccy isn't very good but the light is rubbish x

well off to find my Mojo, think its feeling neglected and is sulking somewhere. Talking of neglect we were suppose to be going to have a look in "Next" today for Den a warm Cardigan/jacket, but I got waylaid in Debenhams looking for a Poncho and the shops closed...oops!! Den said he now knows how Next got its name!!!! We will go next time.....lol

Little Miss Cozy Toes

Brrrrr!!!!!!! Isn't it so cold, I really think winter has come early. Thanks to everyone that has sent good wishes to me and thanks to Irene from DC for my lovely card that has arrived today, its gorgeous, thanks my lovely friend.
The Back is still a little painful but I am up and mobile and the painkillers are down to morning and night. :)) Now on a Happy note....
Well what better weather than to make a challenge card with a theme of "Warm & Cozy" this was the LOTV Challenge this time and I am quite pleased with my card, which is very unusual for me as I am never satisfied with my efforts.....lol

I love this Image, she looks so cosy and snug, I coloured her with Promarkers and added some Flower Soft. I don't usually use F/S but I like the white one for snow and fur. I am afraid I cannot remember what make the paper is, It was a 12" x12" paper which I bought quite a while back, someone may recognize it and let me know. I hope to catch up with blogs tonight, and who knows I might even get a card made as well if I get my finger out and knuckle down to it. Sorry for being MIA

Hi everyone, so sorry I haven't been around to leave comments : ( I went off to Torquay with a slightly dodgy back, I haven't a clue what I did to it. However it was was a million times worse by the time I got to Torquay. I think the 9hr. coach trip did it no favours at all. I spent the week in agony and living on Painkillers.
THEN..... I had to face the 9hr trip home, it was a nightmare to say the least with my back in total Spasm.
I had to give in and go to the hospital on Sunday, and get some perscription painkillers and then had tto see my own Doc on Monday morning who gave me Valium to release the muscle spasms. Well you can imagine where I have been when he said take your Codene Phosphate, 2 paracetamol, and a valium all together...lol
I had to take 4 valium a day....me!!!! I can sleep anywhere at anytime normally, without added help : O
Well enough of my moans, but I had to say sorry for not calling round, this is the most I can manage to do at present as its so painfull to sit for long, but hopefully I will feel better tomorrow. I have been up today instead of laying flat on my back. The lounge carpet has got a footpath worn in it today, so I think things are maybe improving a little and I can do some gentle exercise tomorrow.. : )) A walk around the block sounds good.
