update.... Had Red Flag appointment to Chest pain clinic, had stress test on friday(treadmill) showed unstable angina am now booked to have a Angiogram/Angioplasty on January 4th, Please pray that it can be sorted without  Re-doing my By-pass op. which is high risk.
Hope I am back with you early in 2013

Hi, Lovely Peeps, Thank you so much for all the lovely get well well wishes.You have no idea how much they have helped me.
I also wanted to say a special Thank you  as well for the Lovely Birthday cards that I received for my Birthday yesterday.I love each and everyone of them. My dear hubby was blown away at how kind my crafty friends are, especially at this time of year too when everyone is so busy, It just amazes him!!!
Sorry I couldn't pop on yesterday to say thank you, but on Friday Den and daughter Amanda had to call the paramedics out to me with chest pain so I spent the day in hospital....like a pin cushion now...lol Thankfully not another heart attack, just changes to my usual Angina pattern we think, Will need to get that sorted and discover why. Yesterday was a very lazy but nice birthday, A house full of flowers :O and lots of lovely dies :)

 Eventually had the colonoscopy after abit of a false start! My heart has took a turn for the worse these past weeks and been playing up. The nurse as she called me in  must have realised I was really unwell and decided to do a ECG and BP check. She took the reading off to the consultant and he came and gave me the option of aborting the procedure as my heart was under stress, or he could do it with the risk I could have a heart attack during it!! What a decision eh!!!!! Now saying all this..I had had two days of h*** taking all the preparation and starvation on top...How do you say tatty-bye I am off home......lol So after a chat with hubby, I went ahead with it. All the extra machines and care and attention was brought into play, he also kept me wide awake so I could tell him of any chest pain.
 Results....All Clear...Yippee !!!! we are so happy that at least I can rule that nasty out :) Now I need to go back to my heart specialist and get checked out and also further investigations to sort my tummy problem................ OK I bet you are all saying what an old Croc... She is a right-off ......lol   Well you watch this space I will be back like a spring chicken before you know it :~
I will try and do a little commenting but I am afraid I'm not well enough to get my crafting out at present, I just want to sleep!
Sorry for none crafty post but had to let you know how it had gone after the lovely messages you all sent me, I was so emotional reading them.

Hi Lovely Bloggers,
So sorry I have been missing and got no comments or crafting done.
I have so missed you all, but have been too poorly to even blog.... Spent more days in bed than out over the past few weeks. I really can't be doing with it, I hate not being active!!
I am going to the hospital for the dreaded camera test tomorrow so maybe that will find the cause..yikes!! 
I just wanted to say Hi and send my love to you all and say sorry for not calling to leave comments. I am going to try and do some now before I go back to my Bed and electric blanket :)) Have to be up at 6 in the morning to take the second sachet of gunk...unless anyone is offering to take it for me :) I told Den he should have it as we always share everything...lol   bless him.
 I really hope that I can be back crafting very soon, hope you will stay around, I promise to try and call on you as soon and as often as i can. Its like being cut off from your nearest and dearest :(
The Christmas shopping has really taken a back seat too, I bet everyone is finished and I am not even a quarter of the way. 
Well I am off to have a long awaited peek at what been happening in blogland.

Well not sure if you missed me! but I sure have missed you. Had a rough few weeks but feeling a bit brighter today so thought I would post my card for In The Pink ....Dies & Punches Challenge. You can use either or both, I just used dies on this one as I hope to add another entry if i get chance and want to use punches on that one :) I do hope you will call on the girls and join in the challenge, they really would love you to support the challenges, they love Pink Christmas cards too :)) so no excuses xxxxx
This was a great challenge for me as I just love using both, If Santa brings me a sack full of dies & punches I will be one very happy bunny indeed.
Anyway onto my card which has the adorable image "Connie" from Sugar Nellie, coloured with Promarkers this time, Lace from Stash and the swirl dies are Joy. The frame dies are my all time favourites (can't bring name to mind...doh!    A loft job to find the box I am afraid. This is the trouble when I take them out and put them on Magnetic sheets.

Good Afternoon Lovely bloggers, This is a fairly quick post today as I am going to fit in a million things today. I am so behind this week as not been feeling too well.(awaiting dreaded Camera test)  Yuk!!.... but on a happier note On Wednesday my 2nd Grandson moved into his first home so I couldn't miss going to have a peek at that :) its a lovely 3 bed house and its  very well decorated so he doesn't have to worry for a few months, give him chance to get over the shock of paying a morgage..lol. Its got a beautiful large fitted kitchen, he just needs something to fill all the cupboards! we bought him a lovely set of pans but I have a feeling that they will only be used if his girlfriend calls by and cooks him something. Den thinks he is more likely to drain his car oil in them than cook :O  I would kill him....lol  Its so good to see them getting on well though. That's two of them on the property ladder which is wonderful, it takes some doing at 24 & 25 the way things are. You can tell I am a Proud Gran can't you...lol
It is a real concern though, wondering how the young ones will manage with jobs and homes, We are so blessed that ours have both. I am so aware its not easy for kids these days, Good jobs are so hard to find.  :(

its a CAS card for the In The Pink challenge, I hope if you haven't entered the challenge you will go across and join in. Our Lovely Pinkies are so sweet and I love to see their challenges supported. Drat...just noticed I have got glue on the ribbon, so I will try and change that asap..if it will come off without damaging that is :~

Here I am again, two posts in one day..thats a first to start with I think. Well I said I would try and post my first ever Book card so here it is. I know its not perfect by any means but I promised Lisa that if I was just half happy with it she would see it :) if it was a total flop nobody would never see it....lol
I kept the embellies simple as I wasn't sure what to do with it once I had the actual card made up :o

Happy weekend to everyone, Hope you are well and keeping warm, We have had everything weather wise today!! sleet, snow rain and sunshine :~ At this moment its glorious Sunshine so long may it continue.
 Well hopefully I will be back to post my First Book Card later but first I wanted to show you my card for In The Pink Challenge which this fortnight is Buttons & Bows, can you believe its the 6th challenge already, doesn't time fly. Hope you pop along and join the lovely ladies and all the gorgeous Pinky creations.
Well here is my card, I tried to add both Buttons & Bows but you can just use one or the other if you wish. I sneaked a little pearl bow onto my button as well as the ribbon one :)

Not done a lot with insert but will add a sentiment later.
Well that's it for now but will try and post my book card later on as Amanda and I are having a craft day today and at present have not achieved very much at all. After today she can't come to craft anymore for 3weeks :(   as she is off to Egypt next week and hubby is still home off the rigs after that. I think SIL should work more weeks on than off to be honest......lol
Him being at home interferes with our craft time :~

Well here I am at long last, I haven't had time this week to get any posting done. I made a couple of cards but then missed the challenges due to no time :~ My friend said goodby to her mum on Monday so that was a very sad day, the weather added to it as it took everyone so long to travel due to the dreadful foggy weather, but we got there safely.
The week improved , not weather wise might I add..its horrid here.

Last night I went to see Charlie Landsborough..my favourite country/folk Singer, He is amazing!   well I think so....lol
I was so looking forward to the concert, and I must say it was brilliant. The Only hic-up was I got out of the car in the car park and promptly tristed my ankle in a huge pot hole (in the dark) And went sprawling :( One twisted right ankle, One very painful swollen left knee and a painful elbow and shoulder ...doh! What am I like...lol   I thought at one point I was going to have to be carried in by Amanda and my Hubby to see Charlie ...oh! yes I was determined to see him regardless....lol They wanted me to go to the hospital, but sorry.... Charlie was calling :))
I am needless to say a little fragile today, what hurts I hear you ask.... EVERYTHING!
Anyway onto the only card this week that hasn't missed the challenges, Its for Mo's Autumn Fun Challenge. Not too chuffed with it but here it is. Sorry to the other challenges that I missed posting. I won Crafts and Me a fortnight ago and so wanted to join in last week with a lovely image that I won, made the card and missed the challenge ..drat it!
Here is Mo's sorry the pic isn't wonderful but had to put some light on it as its such a dark dingy day.

I have made a couple of cards whilst I have had no internet and this is one I made for Mo's DP2 challenge...B is for ...  blue, boy, Bling and Brad in this case. Also added a Believe in Christmas sentiment. Hope i got enough B's in there....lol

Just the quickest of posts to say I am sorry can't get round to visit you at the Mo as my internet is down :(   I have borrowed  this one to leave you a quick message. I am so missing you all ..boo hoo!
 our old Modem had to be replaced by Virgin and the new one that came at the beginning of last week was faulty. They sent out another one which came yesterday and guess what...it don't work either....grrrr!!!! We are now awaiting a technician who is coming tomorrow afternoon. I am so sick of it I could throw it into the garden...lol
Got Cards to post for a couple of favourite challenges..In the Pink and Mo's Challenge but may not get them posted now..Sorry girls.

Hi Everyone,
What a Lovely Sunny day its been, I hope you have had a share of it too. It really made me feel good and ready to get some jobs done.
I have had a real good day in the house, I have got the washing done, Cleaned and tidied cupboards and then finished my card off that I started yesterday :) More than I have done in a week....lol
 Well here is what I came up with, I am not thrilled with it but as my Mojo has been sadly hiding of late it has got me up and running again. I am ready to get down to some crafting this week if I can. My Medication is kicking in and I am feeling better each day.
The only blot on the Horizon is my lovely friend lost her dear Mum on Sunday evening :(
 So with losing her Hubby and her Mum in 10mths she is now on her own.
Well now onto my card, ......

Happy Sunny Thursday everyone, well I hope its sunny where you are! We have a beautiful Autumn day here on the N/E coast :)
 Sadly my post has mixed feeling today though, as I have decided to step down from the MAWTT  team :(  This will be my final card...but they certainly haven't seen the last of me. They are the most amazing bunch of girls to work with, headed by one of the best Mama's  in the world. I have had a difficult few weeks of late and I am so tired so think some Me time is called for to get myself sorted out. My crafting has suffered big time due to a few pesky little health issues and I haven't had the energy or enthusiasm to do anything. I know it will pass...hopefully..lol   but in the meantime I will be able to craft if and when I feel inspired to, And hopefully still be joining some favourite Challenges along the way.
 Oh dear I am missing my team already and I haven't actually left them till the end of this week :(

Anyway Onto my Card for the new MAWTT challenge which this week is hosted by the Fabulous Lisa,

So get out your dark papers and Halloween things and join in. This was a whole new Ball game for me :o    I have never made a Halloween card in my life, but here it is ...

Evening lovely bloggers, just thought I would post this little gift I made for a friend, I like to take her something when I go to visit so instead of flowers etc. I made this. I always take our Sunday afternoon tea too...Homemade Cherry and Cheese Scones (seperate scones of course....lol) they would certainly taste odd mixed together wouldn't they :o  ......
Anyway  she sends out lots of notelets and cards as she is pretty much housebound caring for her 98yr old Mum, so I thought this would be useful to her :)
I used this Gorgeous Image from Crafts and Me called "Casting Down Imagination" and of course I used my all time favourite colour and papers.

This was the front,which I made 8x8 so I could use my normal sized cards and envelopes as notelets. I made five notelets to go inside, a book of stamps and its a great little gift.
The Back I left plain, but not sure now if it needed a little something on it :(  a bit boring!

Morning Everyone, well what a difference a day makes, After all that rain, we wake to Glorious sunshine this morning : ) It is just perfect as its our Wedding Anniversary today..48yrs ..yikes!! I can't believe how fast the years have flown by. Saying that they have been full wonderful years and we seem to have done so much when we actually think of them. Here's to our Golden day, it gets ever closer :)
Well before we take ourselves off for the day ..and then an evening meal.
 I wanted to post my card for  In the PinkChallenge..Embossing  Thought I would keep it free of papers for a change to show off the lovely embossing folder that I bought a couple of weeks ago.

Hi here I am again, I really should be in my bed :o
 but i have made this card tonight and I wanted to enter it into the Crafts & Me..In the Pink Challenge. as the challenge ends in a few hours I needed to post it and link it up tonight. I am just loving these gorgeous images and this one was so lovely to colour, she is called "Cali girl" I coloured her with Promarkers and added a little polychromer pencil to her. I really must have some more of these adorable images as soon as I can afford some, I have about four I think which I bought with my Candy win from Mina, Thanks so much Mina for introducing me to them :)
 Well I said it was a quick post and so it is....

Evening everyone, At last I have got down to crafting :) too many Birthdays in one week if you ask me....lol  Hubbies 70th went off very well on Sunday and My eldest Grandson was 25 yesterday also My only Grandaughter had her 17th yesterday, so we are well and truly Birthday washed out! I really can't believe where the years have gone either. Hubby certainly doesn't look his age and it fools me that the years really have passed us by. He is still 17 to me....lol      well maybe not quite xx
Well enough waffle, Here is the first card made since my little holiday break. It was certainly hard trying to get my head in gear. I tried colouring the image with pencils for a change...not happy with results but at least I am sort of back in the craft mood, So I might try another one with pencils before too long.
