Morning everyone,
Hope you all have something nice planned for the weekend. I have nothing planned except a visit to see my grandsons today as they are off to Cyprus in a few days time. Daughter and hubby have already been there for a week, but the lads had to work so are going out to share the last week with them.
I will go and wish them happy jolly's and try and sneak in one of the cases :~
Anyway onto my card which is rather Pink and green even if I say so myself.... I hadn't realised just how zingy it was...lol
Its for the Papertake weekly Challenge..Sketch you can use any of their sketches so I chose Sketch 32.
I used this sweet Penny Black Hedgehog and had a go at Paper piecing....oh my goodness I need a lot of practice at this. She is a lot to be desired I am afraid, I did enjoy doing her shoes though and putting the little bits of white on the toes and heels....then I took a paracetamol as I had a headache....lol

Morning all, Hope you have better weather where you are :( We have more rain today, so it might be a stay in day again.
My poor Hubby is like a caged animal when he can't get out in his garden. Of course I can always find things to do when it rains...ha ha now what would that be I wonder!

I chose a long neglected Tilda with her Peaches,
My hubby loves them, I hate them.....lol I don't like the smell of them and the felty texture of the skin...However Tilda obviously loves them so here she is. I need a sentiment on this but haven't quite decided what! so its in the decision box!
I feel the card is sadly lacking but not sure what it needs without going stupid with it.
Catch you all later, need to go to town really but its depends on the weather as I am not desperate for anything.....apart from the exercise that is.

Well you might need Sunglasses for my card today but not sure about needing them otherwise. I hope you are having a good weekend and the weather is good where you are. I have scheduled this as I have quite a full day planned tomorrow.
I will however be finding some time in the day to call on blogs. This week has been so hectic I have been a bad blogger and need to do some catching up. Thank you to my faithful followers that called by and left lovely comments this week, Some I have managed to visit, those I haven't reached yet will see me shortly. Now onto my card ...
Quite a simple sketch, and not sure I like it at all. I find Bright colours a bit daunting.

Well school Holidays are arriving fast and I wonder what kids do with all the time off these days! When I was a kid we where out from morning till night. My poor mum had mega problems getting me in even for meals. A huge Skipping rope that went from one side of the street to the other.....ha-ha It was a usually a rope that had seen better days at the steel works and had been thrown out and salvaged by one of the dads. It was so heavy our arms ached like mad on a night :0
We spent hours playing in the park too, We had names for all the hills we ran up and down ...Mary Bell Hill being one,we believed if we ran up and down it 7 times a bell would ring...ha-ha can you believe it!! We took a bottle of water and some jam sarnies and had a penny to spend at the shop. Wow now I am showing my age. We used to try and save a Lowcocks lemonade bottle to take our water in, then mum would let us take it back on our way home and keep the two pence off it...WOW!!! it was like winning the lottery today. You can get the picture..we had very little money and yet had a fabulous childhood.
Anyway on to my card as I am about to go to Middlesbrough Shopping for the day.

Hope everyone is well and got a little sunshine. Its warm and sunny here on the north east coast but its windy, actually its good as I have washing to dry and what's better than sun and wind to do it
First here is my card for the challenge, I have to say sorry to Mo as I appear to have cut off her copyright when I have used the wonky square die....slap my hands Mo, I promise to be more careful from now on.
What a super challenge its been with all the children taking part. I bet they have loved entering their creations.
I have been so behind this week and really wanted to add some 3d parts to this little guy especially his hands but have totally run out of time. Hubby found me the tiny snippet of wood to add the twine.

Mo's DP2 challenge..Summertime as usual I am chasing my tail! I think Mo sneaks a day off the challenge every week as it seems to pass by so fast :O I am quite sure its down to a three day challenge these days....lol

I have had a good crafty week though in between enjoying some days out and having my friend here to visit for the day. I just haven't been on the lappy very much :0
I will be paying visits later today though as I have promised myself a bloggy day :)) I have to have my lappy plugged into the mains as my battery is on its way out, (no blogging in the garden at present)

ps when you add yours pics to your post do you make yours large or extra large????
I think mine are too big on Ex.Lge, but they look too small otherwise! I have made these pictures different sizes which do you think is best?? What do you do? please let me know xx
