I am scheduling this post so hope it appears, I am back from my short break in the Lake District but thought I had better be safe than sorry :o) as I have a busy couple of days and I am so good at forgetting things lately.

The challenge this fortnight is New Beginnings...hence a wedding card from me........
I have got quite ahead with my DT cards thankfully :o) This one was part made weeks ago and so it came in very helpful when Elaine chose the theme, A couple of tweaks and hey presto!
I will hopefully get more blogging and commenting done :o) now, I so needed this little holiday, as I am feeling so tired of late.

Good Morning Everyone,
The new challenge over at Mo's Digital is "New Beginnings"
The theme this week was chosen by our lovely sistah Elaine,
So we want to see what you come up with for this fab challenge..ideas could include..New baby, marriage, job, new school/college etc. In my case I chose Retirement.
My card is rather CAS but I was quite happy with it. The image is called Eileen and I thought she was perfect for a certain lady that wants to spend her retirement enjoying her garden, If you click on the link it will take you straight to her, plus you can see the fabulous new images from Mo. She has certainly been creative these past weeks...busy busy busy!!!
Her New fairy is just adorable :o))
Hope you like the fab creations from the rest of the team, they never cease to amaze me. Please try and leave them some love as they love you to visit them.

I will give you a break from them after this card....lol ..
.well for a short while anyway!
I must admit I love them but know they will get neglected once they go into the Die folder, I forget just what I have and they don't see daylight for months...years in some cases!
I used an 8x8 card base for this so that the corners fit better.
I will enter it into Simon says stamp Die crazy challenge .
.Wow! thats two cards entered..ha-ha I must be on a roll.
It may be Friday before I can do any blog hopping but I will catch up with you all ASAP.

I thought I would pop on with a card using that new S/B corner I bought :o)) I had a go at using it in a different way again....see my brain does work outside the box.....occasionally lol
I wanted to enter Simon says stamp Die Crazy challenge as I missed it last week :o(
I used the corner die as a basket...sort of! and added flowers and a loose tag with the sentiment on.
Think I might do a little adjustment to the card tonight and add a border around the embossing as I am not happy about it when I see it posted. It has rather a nice edge to it in real life but its not showing up very good....I will amend it...me thinks...lol

Mo's digital ...Whimsical this one should be exciting :o))
I chose this Amusing image called "Darn it" He is a real Whimsical character isn't he. He makes a great belated card with a Darn it sentiment on too.
Wouldn't any man die for a pair of legs like those....lol
The papers are LOTV Nitwits "Country Gent" well I suppose all elves etc. would live in the woods wouldn't they!

I hope you are enjoying this lovely sunny bank holiday. Its been beautiful here on the N/E coast.
Before I go and grab some sweet fresh air I wanted to share my latest creation with you. I was watching Christina Griffiths on Card making magic .com and thought I would have a go at this card with Spellbinders Blossom corners.
I was really pleased with how it turned out.
Didn't have quite the same border dies and Embossing folder as Christina had, but this is my version so too speak! its as close as I could get to her beautiful one. Thanks for the brilliant tutorial Christina.

My card is using the adorable Paddy, I just love him and so enjoyed colouring him. The only thing I didn't like was the sentiment....I hate it!!!!! I am not a believer in Luck! So why did I put it on???????
