This week we have a new mini release just in time for Easter so I've been having fun creating with these new digistamps...DOWNLOAD them here
It's time for a new Digi Choosday challenge so I hope you will join in with the fun. Today the team was asked to create a Spring Animal themed project and I was inspired by all the flowers and the the sounds of the birds for my simple one layer card today. I love all of the cute and quirky images in the Lucy Monkman collection as they are super easy to colour. You can create a no fuss card in minutes. I printed out the Bunny and Birds image onto marker friendly cardstock and also onto paper so I could create some little paper masks, with a little easy fussy cutting. Next I coloured in the simple images with Promarkers before adhering the little paper masks with repositionable glue. I gently blended distress inks to create my background and then carefully removed the masks before finishing the card with white gel pen highlights. Have a fantastic week. Love and crafty hugs x.

So, spring has sprung and my last card today features a gorgeous bunny couple out in some seasonal sunshine. This is FIRST DATE and I have coloured this image with Copics and added some die-cuts to give the impression that they are out together in a park. I didn’t use any paper this time, I simply inked the background and added some ‘falling blossom’ with a gel pen and included a sentiment from the LOVE ALWAYS SENTIMENT BUNDLE.

In addition, my inspiration card for this week features Bunches of Love - Udderly Cute cow. I colored this adorable little highland cow with Prismacolor Pencils and fussy cut. The background is comprised of ephemera pieces. The sentiment was printed onto the background.

Kathie - Good morning and welcome to all my crafty friends and welcome to another Digi Choosday. I can’t believe it’s the first day of April already. This week we are celebrating Spring and Spring animals. Spring to me mean warmer weather, beautiful Spring flowers out in the garden and summer is just around the corner. For me here is New Zealand, we have the reverse its Autumn. These are my two favourite seasons, it’s not too hot and not too cold. This imagecomes black & white for you to colour and is also available in a pre-coloured image. I made an Easel card and the image was coloured with the following Copic Ciao markers: C1, C2, C3, RV02, RV10, RV13, YR20, YR61, YG00, YG03, YG63 and a black & white gel pen and a Green Prismacolor pencil. Ana https://mycatandcrafts.blogspot.com/2026/04/polkadoodles-digi-choosday-project.html - Hi crafty friends! I’m back for another Digi Choosday project and this week’s Design Team theme is Spring Animals. I couldn’t choose between these two adorable digis, so I made two mini notebooks instead!
Digis I used for this project are Chicks in a Basket https://www.polkadoodles.co.uk/chicks-in-a-basket-printable-clipart-digital-stamp-digistamp-for-cards-cardmaking-crafting-and-stickers/, Bunny Rabbit with Roses https://www.polkadoodles.co.uk/bunny-rabbit-with-roses-flowers-digital-stamp-digistamp-for-cards-cardmaking-crafting-and-stickers/, and Paper Patterns 4 – Winnie Daisy Fairy https://www.polkadoodles.co.uk/paper-patterns-4-winnie-daisy-fairy-printable-digital-stamps-clipart-card-making-crafts-scrapbooking-sticker-with-svg-print-and-cut-outline/.
I colored the digi stamps with alcohol markers. For the notebooks, I made small 3x4 covers using recycled cardboard and wrapped them with patterned paper from the Winnie Daisy Fairy paper pack. I added 3x4 pages inside, punched holes using my Mini Cinch and bound everything together.
To decorate the covers, I layered some gauze and string for texture, then popped the colored digi images on top and finished them with a few sparkly gemstones.
These cute little notebooks are perfect for notes, gifts, or even adding to an Easter basket!

Zel - I prepared my background by making a pastel purple A4 card base. Then I used a nesting rectangle die to cut Set 2 - Wanda printable digital paper patterns to create a layer. Then I cut a piece of pastel green cardstock using a nesting oval die to create an egg impression. I adhere these pieces together.
For My focal point I scan n cut the birds from Winnie's fruit punch embellies and using a foam tape to create dimension and adhere it to the card. the sentiment I used is from Simon Says stamp

For today's card I created a little scene using Gil Bunny Rabbit growing Sunflowers which I cut out using my scan and cut machine. Along with some sunflowers from Autumn fall bundle and added some glitter to the centres. The cloud background paper is from Pretty Spring papers, and the gingham paper is from Perfect Peony, which I used to die cut a grass border. My greeting is from Christmas everyday sentiments. To finish off my card I used my sewing machine to stitch around the edges and added Glossy Accents to the watering can and brads in the corners.
