Ørsted has signed an agreement with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners to divest our entire European onshore business. Together with the previously announced divestments of Hornsea 3 and Changhua 2, this finalises the divestment programme outlined earlier and strengthens Ørsted’s financial foundation. The transaction also supports our strategic focus on offshore wind in our core European markets. “Ørsted’s European onshore business has developed a very solid pipeline and project portfolio, and I’m very satisfied that we’ve found a new owner of that business in CIP, as we’ve decided to concentrate our efforts on offshore wind in our core European markets. The divestment of our European onshore platform finalises the divestment programme that we’ve laid out, and we’ve now substantially strengthened Ørsted’s financial position,” says Trond Westlie, CFO at Ørsted. What do our fabrication managers do? We asked Olga Alieksieienko. At Baltica 2 in Poland, Olga helps to deliver 1.5 GW by the end of 2027. But before any component is installed in the Baltic Sea this spring, it must go through a thorough inspection process to confirm that it meets our strict requirements for quality and safety. That’s why Olga and her team are currently verifying one of the most critical elements of the project: the monopile foundations. Here, ultrasonic testing plays a key role in the non-destructive tests, allowing the team to specifically assess the quality and strength of the welds. At the same time, just as a wind farm is made up of many moving parts, it also relies on close collaboration between a wide range of people to keep the project moving forward. As a result, Olga not only oversees construction and quality testing at every stage, she also works actively to build a strong sense of cooperation between contractors and internal specialists: 💭 “The most important thing when cooperating with suppliers is to build trust, clear communication, and mutual respect. This will benefit both sides and lead to great success.” #facesofBaltica2 #Baltica2 PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna

A major leap for Europe’s renewable energy future⚡ Today, at the North Sea Summit 2026 in Hamburg, nine governments — Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, and the United Kingdom — signed a Joint Offshore Wind Investment Pact for the North Seas. This investment pact sets a new pace for Europe’s green transition. It strengthens energy security, enhances competitiveness, and accelerates decarbonisation. Its impact will be felt across the continent, helping Europe save around EUR 70 billion in fossil fuel imports, lower electricity prices, and reduce carbon emissions by 15 %. “This is exactly what we need for Europe - and exactly what we need at Ørsted, given our significant focus on offshore wind in Europe,” said Ørsted CEO, Rasmus Errboe. Watch the video for more, as we caught up with Rasmus in Hamburg during the summit.

We’re pleased to share that all wind turbines have now been installed at our 920 MW Greater Changhua 2b and 4 offshore wind farms in Taiwan 🎉 “With all wind turbines now installed, we’ve achieved an important milestone in Taiwan’s offshore wind expansion and Ørsted’s 8.1 GW historically large construction pipeline,” says Per Mejnert Kristensen, CEO of Region APAC at Ørsted. Expanding on how this was achieved, JAYARAM NAIDU PMP, C Eng, Managing Director of Greater Changhua Offshore Wind Farms at Ørsted, explains: “Completing the offshore wind turbine installation for a 920 MW project within a single installation season is a significant achievement, particularly given the short weather window and challenging sea conditions in the Taiwan Strait. It reflects our disciplined execution, rigorous risk management, and close coordination across marine operations, logistics, and installation planning, all underpinned by a strong safety culture.” Our focus now is to efficiently continue commissioning the wind turbines, conduct electrical system testing, and finalise offshore cable works. Full commercial operation of Greater Changhua 2b and 4 is expected in Q3 2026. Thank you to everyone who helped us reach this milestone. Today is a reminder of what we can achieve together, even in trying times💚

Baltica 2 monopiles are on the move 🚢🌊 The load-out of the first batch of monopiles for the Baltica 2 project in Poland has been completed. The finished steel foundations have been placed onto a barge and started their voyage to the feeder port in Rønne, Denmark. This marks the transition from manufacturing to offshore logistics. For Baltica 2 the largest offshore wind farm currently under construction in Poland, jointly developed by Ørsted and PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna a total of 111 monopiles are planned: 107 for wind turbines and 4 for offshore substations. Each structure can be up to 100 metres long, around 10 metres in diameter, and weigh up to 1,900 tonnes. Designed to withstand wind turbine loads, waves, and wind for decades, they require exceptional manufacturing precision, extensive pre-commissioning testing’testing, and advanced multi-layer corrosion protection systems. We’re pleased to see the load-out at EEW Group’s production facilities progressing as planned. Transport is underway, and activities remain on schedule. Preparatory offshore works are currently underway ahead of the installation phase scheduled to start in May, paving the way for the installation of foundations that will later enable the wind turbines to reach a height of around 250 metres 🏗️

Step aboard our offshore service operation vessel in the Taiwan Strait to meet Hank, the ‘mobile commander’ behind the Greater Changhua 1 & 2a offshore wind farms 👋 As Operations Manager for Team C, Hank coordinates daily operations – assigning wind turbine technicians, prioritising maintenance, tracking weather conditions and wind turbine alerts, and coordinating vessel positions and resources, so every task is completed safely and efficiently. His team spans wind turbine technician levels 1–3, from core technical work to advanced maintenance and independent fault diagnosis. Each technician undergoes rigorous training and builds practical experience over time. For Hank and Team C, safety is the very foundation that keeps the wind turbines spinning. Hank’s career has grown with the wind: from onshore rigging inspector to offshore EPC construction, to training and planning at the Taichung O&M centre, and now leading operations for Greater Changhua 1 & 2a. He even leveraged his 14-days-on, 14-days-off schedule to complete a master’s degree in project management – balancing his studies with life at sea. What drives him most is teamwork: solving challenges shoulder to shoulder and safeguarding reliable power for communities. Offshore wind is a team effort, and Team C delivers day in, day out.

Long before offshore construction starts in Poland next year, Baltica 2 is already taking shape. Adeeb Aisamuddin works in Vietnam as Lead Fabrication Manager at the offshore substation fabrication yard. This is where the OSS topsides are assembled before heading offshore. Each structure is massive, built from around 1,200 tonnes of steel and thousands of welds. For Adeeb, the assembly phase is the most rewarding and the most challenging. It is where everything comes together, under tight timelines and with little room for error. What drives him is seeing the work come together on site. And knowing that the key component he is working on right now will one day help power 2.5 million homes in Poland. 🎥 Watch the video to hear Adeeb tell the story himself. #Baltica2 #FacesofBaltica2 #renewableenergy
