For my card today, I used warm tones which ties in with the sentiment and the warmth of parents. Simple ink blended layers, paired with the frame for a dimensional look. I have listed the products used below. (Please note all links are affiliate links that come at no extra cost to you).

My inspiration

For my project today, I’ve used a floral cluster and paired it with embossed circles in the background on black cardstock. I’ve used Metallic Watercolours in similar shades as the embossing powders, to keep it a metallic look through and through.

Chromatic Harmony

Color always excites me. Being able to pick the right colours, and creating harmonious creations is something I hold a passion for.

When I teach a class, I’m always looking to inspire you all with unique colour combinations, something you’d love to experiment and explore. Like in the card above, it’s all about the perfect colour balance. Check video tutorial here.

Color Explosion

I absolutely love using bold and vibrant colours in my cards! I also love exploring a variety of colour palettes, and combing several colours to create depth when I create. Inks are one of my favourite mediums to play with. I enjoy blending ink colours to achieve new shades as depth.

Do you love color, but are often confused about which colours to combine? Or are you looking for ideas on blending inks and watercolours, creating vibrant yet balanced creations? Celebration Card

For my project, I decided to create a card with the spirit of celebrating this huge and amazing release! I’ve used the new Peruvian Gold Foil to add accents to my card. I’ve used the Million Dollar Mixed Media Duo, for that rich gold embossing, and Silver Glass texture. I paired it up with the classic Primary Ebony and Midnight, making this a luxurious card! One can never go wrong with Black, White and Gold! The balloons stamp and dies are all from Alex Syberia Designs.
