    Abundant Masculinities Volunteer Application

  • We're so glad you're here
Thank you for your interest in supporting Abundant Masculinities! Hopefully you're here because you're already familiar with our work, if not, we encourage you to read more about our mission and vision, and check out our Instagram to see what we've been up to.

Please note that, like most volunteer opportunities, most of our volunteer positions are unpaid, with the exception of facilitator roles, which are paid. Additionally, there is an extensive training process for facilitators prior to facilitating groups for Abundant Masculinities, so you don't need to be ready to facilitate a group today if you're interested in becoming a facilitator.

We're looking for people who believe in our mission and want to help the organization grow and thrive well into the future. If that's you, we encourage you to apply, even if you don't think you meet every single qualifications. Here's a little more about what we're looking for...

    2. Respect for all genders and masculinities: You welcome and affirm diverse experiences and identities.
    3. Commitment to equity and inclusion: You have developed your analysis around White supremacy, anti-racism, and intersectionality, and have language to explain what that means to you.
    4. Reliability and accountability: You communicate clearly, follow through, and take responsibility with care.
    5. Collaborative spirit: You work well with others, accept feedback, and value shared leadership.
    6. Emotional maturity and self-awareness: You approach community work with reflection, curiosity, and compassion.
