Once on our way in life we are confronted with lots of things, of which some seem difficult to tackle or which are disturbing us.
All of us search for the better life and have their goal put on marvellous things we dream of. Many people think a good life and happiness lies in gathering wealth, but they are mistaken.
Many think they have to look for luck by others around them and think the world can offer them peace within. They do hope to achieve great success, and some even can do so but in the end do not feel very happy. Several who seem to have reached the top within themself do not feel really satisfied or fulfilled despite becoming a multi-millionaire or a star. Oh, so many go looking for luck and happiness too far away out.
Too many people do forget that answers should be found within themself, becoming self-aware and having the right spiritual goal.
It might not always easy to accept we failed in something. But we should come to understand we better learn from any failure and go on avoiding it in the future by not falling in the same trap or by not choosing the wrong direction.
Lots of people do not want to know they are created in the image of their Maker. The majority of the world population even does not want to accept such Eternal Spirit Being would exist. But if they would learn more about Him and read His Words, they would be able to find the most valuable Guide for life (in His given Word: the Bible). That century assembly of books gives enough wisdom to mankind to find the best way to live and shows the path to true happiness.

Think Positive
Trust in Hard Work
Set your goal > set a milestone for yourself. Every target and milestone has some requirements = think, find the story, model them, and then try to better them

One of our readers officially graduated from the Dale Carnegie course which strives to teach the lesson of living life, which is something that reader and we do believe each of us should constantly be conscious of and getting better at.
That visitor of our ecclesia-site like so many would love to see his best version of himself. Understandably would not be that the best thing to hope for?
He knows there is no substitute for good health and we can do a lot to keep ourselves well. Too often lots of people do forget that we have a lot of power over our lives and we can effectively realize and use it by just being intentional. As told more than once at this site, the ideal visualization of the future generates positive feelings and hopes, which is an important part of the journey to get there. We have to set a goal and think positively.
The nagging feeling in itself is not a great motivator or productivity inducer. Even worse constant confrontation with the negative thought pulls us down. So we better avoid contact with negativeness, be it thoughts or even negative people or people who have a bad influence on us.
We should have confidence in ourselves, knowing that what we want to do is not impossible! concerning that matter he writes
And this probability is not from factors outside of our control. The ratio shows how many people come up with the strength to win against the odds. It can be up to us what side of this ratio we land on. {Draw Your Future}
He looks at Patti Dobrolowski her model and wants to highlight her explanation of a factor that makes her strategy work:
“Your brain actually emits serotonin and oxytocin when you draw and dream. So you feel happy. Capable. Creative.” Who wouldn’t want to feel that? Without getting too scientific about it, serotonin and oxytocin do affect mood positively and they can also be attained by exercise or a detailed daydream so whenever you need a boost, you can also try that. {Draw Your Future}
All of us should know we are fallible, but all those around us are as us also not perfect and have their faults and limits. We should not always compare ourselves to others but believe in ourself going for what we believe we should and can do. We should set our mind to delivering on that, knowing that it is in our power. And if we need some help, we also should know there is always Some One high above Who is stronger and mightier than all beings, Who can help us.
The effort to realize this reality in our visitors life started well before the Dale Carnegie course. He was encouraged by it, and wants to continue on his path for long after. He writes
With work and personal issues clouding my mind, I did not get a chance to appreciate the course as much as I would have liked (I failed at being intentional there but we all have our down days). However, I hope that, in coming time, I can realize some benefits from the foundation that the course set for me. I also want to learn more about the man and the movement that grew into this program. {The Power in Me}
We would advise him to look beyond the doors of that institution and to get even more wisdom in the Book of books, trusting in the Most High EstablisherElohim, God His Power but also the power which can grow in himself, which is the power each of us at to be on the look-out for.
For now, he leaves his readers on Matters of Living with a good thought from Dale Carnegie, which we like to repeat here too:
Are you bored with life? Then throw yourself into some work you believe in with all your heart, live for it, die for it, and you will find happiness that you had thought could never be yours.
How many times are you thinking positive about yourself? Only by placing a positive continuation after “I am” that the “I am” in you can grow positively and enjoy life.
Why wait until tomorrow. Start to day by accepting yourself how you are and to treat yourself nicely. When you treat yourself the way you would like to have others treating yourself, you too may come to treat them the way you would love to be treated and cold come sharing a love which shall construct you positively, giving you renewed energy every day over and over again.
Always remember, the way you feel shall let others feel a certain way. Your positive attitude shall not only reflect your person’s mind and courage, it shall offer a mirror to the people you have contact with. Your positive attitude shall infect also other people and give you and them extra power.

Like making healthy choices in your diet and exercise to regulate weight, we need to make healthy choices in consuming positive over negative things. Be aware of the media you consume, be conscious of the attitudes of the people you keep company with, but most important of all know your own feelings. If you are not feeling positive, you will certainly have a difficult time thinking and acting positive.
+ Positivity: Change
We have the ability to choose for ourselves how our lives will be. As such we can help to build and support the positive changes our society needs. We can see what aspects of any given change are within our control and which are not and focus on positivity. When we focus on positive changes and direct our energies to them, we grow them, and as such remove the power of negativity.
+
Knowing that everything changes, we can give our energies and attention to change for the better. When we know and accept that we can have control over more aspects of change, we can work together on change that helps to dissolve negative feelings. When we take away negative feelings, we open up space to let in positive feelings, and that is something we can be grateful for. Gratitude leads to happiness. Happiness is the ultimate positive attitude. Positive attitude begets positive energy, and that is always a good thing.

Stephen Sutton, a young man who had to face cancer, but did not let it bring him down, has died. His spirit, bravery and determination to live life to the full was and should be an inspiration to us all.
For all healthy and sick people it is good to take this young man in mind.
“Stephen didn’t measure life in time, preferring instead to measure it by the difference someone makes. Stephen has made an enormous difference to Teenage Cancer Trust and the seven young people diagnosed with cancer every day who need our help.”
said Siobhan Dunn, chief executive of Teenage Cancer Trust which Sutton raised his money for.
The final photo posted on Stephen Sutton’s Facebook
No matter his illness which he knew would bring soon bring an end to his life this boy was full of life and wanted to do many things in his life. He wanted to try to make the world a better place no matter what.
Kenneth Blanchard with many others found Stephen a fantastic lad who was always thinking of others and will be sadly missed.
Stephen Sutton, the amazing young man who did so much to raise funds and awareness for Teenage Cancer Trust has died. The thoughts of everyone here at Teenage Cancer Trust are with Stephen’s family and friends. We are humbled and hugely grateful for what Stephen achieved, and continues to achieve, for young people with cancer.
Stephen Sutton was a normal kid who did well at school, had ambitions of becoming a doctor, played lots of sports and played drums in a local band. Like anyone else his age, he liked socializing and going out with friends.
Then in 2010, when he was 15, he was diagnosed with stage 3B colorectal cancer. After 6 months of crippling symptoms he underwent a hemicolectomy to remove a tumour from his bowel, then had 6 months of chemotherapy. The treatment had all kinds of side effects but throughout it he was determined not to let the treatment and diagnosis get on top of him.
In January 2013, diagnosed with a s continued growing and spreading cancer, this young lad decided to share his life and outlook with the whole world, starting off by making a Facebook page called Stephen’s story. I’ve raised over £160,000 so far, through events ranging from charity quizzes, to a skydive to dinner parties. I think there should be some fun in fundraising, and I always encourage people to try something new.
I smile because I have a lot to smile about. I’ve seen a lot, achieved a lot — and had a lot of fun doing it too. – Now he is gone but his spirit may carry on.
Stephen’s Story has expanded to other forms of social media including Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram. Facebook acquired over 12,500 dedicated Facebook fans and over 16,000 followers on Twitter at one point, and he hoped to inspire people with motivational quotes, humour and positivity.
His time on this world was too short. Lichfield Cathedral had to be host for his death body, but had to see his spirit was much alive, seeing a sea of yellow as the vigil for Stephen was held this Thursday and Friday. The respons of local shops and homes in Lichfield to an appeal to ‘paint the town yellow’ was nicely followed and the home town, Burntwood, was covered in yellow ribbons in memory of this strong boy who made it possible that many other people could be helped in the future.
At 6pm on Thursday, Stephen’s coffin had left his home in Burntwood by horse-drawn carriage, entering Lichfield by The Bowling Green, passing along The Friary, Swan Road and Bird Street before entering the Close. He was taken into the cathedral at 7pm and laid in a place of honour and given a short opening ceremony at the cathedral. The Cathedral remained open until midnight for people to pay their respects. When I watched the Breakfast Show on BBC I could already see the many people passing from 7am on Friday, before a public farewell ceremony at 3pm that afternoon.
All are welcome to attend. At 3.45pm on Friday, Stephen’s coffin will exit the Close and leave Lichfield for a private family funeral.
His mother wrote on Facebook:
My heart is bursting with pride but breaking with pain for my courageous, selfless, inspirational son who passed away peacefully in his sleep in the early hours of this morning, Wednesday 14th May. The ongoing support and outpouring of love for Stephen will help greatly at this difficult time, in the same way as it helped Stephen throughout his journey. We all know he will never be forgotten, his spirit will live on, in all that he achieved and shared with so many.
It is nice we can see people like Stephen and Matt who had this amazing ability to just make you forget, to have you laughing at old stories or chatting away about what’s been going on at work, and suddenly nothings wrong, you’re not talking to someone who’s ill, you’re just talking to Matt or Stephen. Such personalities are needed in a society who is afraid to face the illnesses that can kill.
Under the constant shadow of terminal bowel cancer – creating a bucket list and spreading awareness to other young people Stephen saw his campaign gain rapid momentum.
In an interview with The Sun when he was well enough, the teenager said:
“You only get one shot at life. I need to make every second count.”
Before his death, Stephen, who was diagnosed aged just 15, said:
“I don’t see the point in measuring life in terms of time any more. I’d rather measure life in terms of making a difference.”
You may say he made a difference and let every second of his life be of some importance by which he also dared to put himself at the side and be there to help others.
It was that attitude which earned the highest praise and admiration, including from celebrities including Benedict Cumberbatch, Jason Manford, Simon Pegg , Russell Brand, Simon Cowell, and Ricky Gervais.
Prime Minister David Cameron went to meet Stephen while in hospital, and following his death on May 14, said:
“I’m deeply saddened to hear that Stephen Sutton has died. His spirit, bravery and fund-raising for cancer research were all an inspiration.”
The Mirror front page for tomorrow’s paper. – A fitting tribute to a courageous teenager who was taken too soon.
Rock legend Roger Daltrey paid tribute to Stephen last night.
The Who frontman, 70, said to the Sun:
“The courage of the boy was amazing. Stephen became an inspiration to teenagers around the world.
“His short life will have an impact for years to come. It is very hard for the family but he was so resilient.
“You’d never think he was so ill. He had incredible spirit and encouraged other teenagers not to hide away from the illness.
“The world needs examples like Stephen so teenagers can get the treatment they need.” {Sun Press associates}
Many can learn from how he looked at himself:
“I actually I see myself as very fortunate- despite being incurable for a while I have had a sustained period of very good health where I was able to go out and enjoy things thoroughly…”
“Ultimately, there is no miracle cure for me. I am potentially the most positive and optimistic person in the world, but we have to be realistic with what we are up against. My disease is very advanced and will get me eventually, but I will try my damn hardest to be here as long as possible.”
Jason Manford, who helped to champion Stephen’s fundraising, paid tribute to the teenager as being
“the most inspiring person I’ve ever met”.
The comedian added:
“He was an incredibly positive young man and a credit to his family, to Burntwood and to humanity itself.
“The reason we took to him so passionately was because he was better than us, he did something that none of us could even imagine doing.
“In his darkest hour he selflessly dedicated his final moments to raising millions of pounds for teenagers with cancer.
“Some of Stephen’s words will stay with me and others forever and they are words to live by – ‘life isn’t measured in time, it’s measured in achievements’.
“If that’s true, Stephen, then you had a fulfilling life full of special moments and you will live long in the memory of thousands, if not millions, of people.”
Many well wishers gave a thumbs up as the coffin of Stephen Sutton stood in Lichfield Cathedral during a two day vigil in his memory.

Think positive
Is what always echo in my ears,
Do no think otherwise
This will wipe away your fears.
The moment anything negative
Comes to your mind,
Immediately strike it out
By thinking about something positive.
While praying do not bring
Any negative words in your mind,
Keep chanting only positive
Peace and solace then you will find.
Say, we are stuck in the midst of a bad traffic,
We pray, ‘Oh God! I should not get late! ‘
See a negativity running in our mind
And by God, we are really late!
Our whole day goes bad
We keep blaming the fate like mad,
Instead, a positive prayer, Oh God, May I reach early
Might have worked out fairly!
As one says, its always easier said than done!
As its not really easy to eliminate negative thoughts from our mind,
But surely its possible to strike out the negative,
And thereby make our disturbing thoughts unwind.

Remember:
Evaluate people, places and things in the right way
Form your attitudes through life experiences in a good way
Show your feeing
do not hide you way of thinking
dare to show your acting
Create a positive environment => be more positive = have a positive attitude
learn about positive thinking and practice what you learn => develop habit of being positive.
! Negative people can pull down your mood and make you very unhappy.
An attitude is how you evaluate people, places and things. Attitudes are formed through life experiences and show how you feel, think and act.
Depending on the environment you grew up in, the people you surround yourself with and how immersed you are in the media, you may have developed a more positive or a more negative attitude. When you are in a positive environment, you will tend to be more positive and likely have a positive attitude. When you are in a negative environment, you will tend to be more negative and likely have a negative attitude.
The good thing is, you don’t have to keep the attitude you have. If you learn about positive thinking and practice what you learn, you will develop a habit of being positive.
When you meet someone who has a negative attitude, how does it make you feel? If they are being nasty, mean…
When people do want to get rid of the negativeness in their life they should come to the understanding that they shall have to change their attitude and direct their choices in the good direction.
To be able to find a path to success we get to put away our memories of the bad things. We have to chose to let go bad memories and most of all the fear for what happened in the past to us and for what still could happen to us. We must be aware that we may have to walk on a hard road, the one less travelled but the one with less hurt.
We perhaps have to choose to go into other directions than most people do want to go and we have to chose the better friends to walk with us. There is no reason at all to cling to the past nor to people who are not meant to stay with us.
For sure there will be haters of all sorts of thing and mostly of those who do not like us. But why keep worrying about them? Why wanting to walk around with those who so often doubt? We may doubt, but it may not catch us like a virus. When we do face the Non-Believers and the Unbelievers, we should stand strong in our own shoes, going for what we feel in our inner guts.
We better dare to stand strong in the heavy waters of the sea of this demanding world and have the strong feeling that we will and shall prove them wrong.
Positivism demands first a strong change in ourselves. First we do have to believe in ourselves before we can start constructing.
The attitudes given here are one step to the start-blocks to do the relay race of our life.

Does it matter where Positivism come’s from ? (thoughtsummary.wordpress.com)
Today Positivism has filled every corner of our life its there at the work or in our home, where the need and demand is growing at a very fast pace just as the technology is making our live’s vulnerable and stressful. The global life of an average person is being run over by stress , confusion, crises, tension, unfulfilled needs, desires complexities, problems, pain, suffering, and delusions that has become more or less an identity if that very person.
How often do we hear ‘it is all in the mind‘? In a certain way we should find the truth in it that we ourselves do have a lot in our own hands by adjusting our own mind and making the right choices.
Everything in life for ourselves depend how we look at it ourselves and how we want to tackle it ourselves.
Once born and being in this world we have to face many challenges. When growing up we come to understand those opportunities in front of us demand us to make the choice either to be in this world but not part of it, or to prefer to do like most of the human beings and to be taken by the mainstream, putting aside the own personality to be part of the masses.
The majority does not want to see many things, but the positive person does not have close his eyes for the bad things that happen. Those can be challenged with a positive outlook. Instead of avoiding or ignoring the bad things, we should involve ourselves making the most of potentially bad situations, trying to see the best in other people, and viewing ourself and our abilities in a positive light. We should stimulate others also to put on the right glasses, which colour this world as a rainbow, with many various colours and brightnesses.

To take in mind:
give yourself and the other adequate credit for successful outcomes, when good things happen
do not blame outside forces for bad outcomes, but be realistic and knowing that not always one person has to be blamed and that everything can overcome
blaming yourself for events outside of your control makes no sense
do not take unfortunate events as a persistent part of your life

Frustrated because you can’t get what you want? Has someone turned you down for a date, a work request, or just a favor? It can get pretty annoying if not breakdown-worthy for you to be blocked from one of your goals, either large or small. Fortunately, by applying these evidence-based tools of emotional strength training, you can turn down your stress meter and make the best out of bad situations.
The cornerstone of emotional strength training is cognitivetherapy, in which clients seeking to overcome depression, anxiety, or problems in relationships build mental toughness by recognizing their triggers and then turning off the switch that would normally lead them to meltdown. However, it’s not necessary to have a diagnosable condition in order to apply its basic principles to improve your own ability to tolerate life’s many annoyances and dilemmas.

Optimist Or Pessimist? Brain Scans Show Positive And Negative People Really Do Think Differently (medicaldaily.com)
Some optimists will believe anything they hear, read or see as long as it goes along with their positive viewpoints on life. Granted this is probably a bit of an extreme, but it is feasible that an optimist can be taken advantage of because they wish to believe in the good they choose to see in everyone. This can lead to trouble if the optimist finds themselves in the wrong situation where their unwavering positivity meets with inevitable negativity that does exist in the world.
+
While the optimist generally believes in the positive and favorable aspects of life, the realist will sometimes disagree taking the stance that we live in an unpredictable world that can be as bad as it is good. While the optimist realizes that there are situations, people, and incidents that are by definition bad, they tend to focus on what positive elements can be taken from those incidents. The realist will usually acknowledge (and accept) those positive elements but they will also focus on why bad things happen, i.e. – there are bad people in the world/stuff happens/life isn’t perfect, etc.
“It’s the first time we’ve been able to find a brain marker that really distinguishes negative thinkers from positive thinkers,” Dr. Jason Moser, lead author and a researcher at Michigan State University, said in press release.
The new study, which is published in the Journal of Abnormal Psychology, sought to investigate the difference between positive and negative brains by asking 71 female volunteers to put a positive “spin” on graphic images. For example, participants would be shown an image of a man holding a knife to a woman’s throat and asked to assign a better outcome, such as the woman breaking free and escaping. Moser and colleagues also conducted individual interviews to determine whether subjects were more likely to be positive or negative in everyday life.
By monitoring each subject’s brain profile throughout the experiment, the team discovered that negative participants displayed much more activity compared to those with an overall positive attitude. “The worriers actually showed a paradoxical backfiring effect in their brains when asked to decrease their negative emotions,” Moser said. “This suggests they have a really hard time putting a positive spin on difficult situations and actually make their negative emotions worse even when they are asked to think positively.”
How Optimism Can Be Learned (psychologytoday.com) Optimism, it turns out, isn’t just defined as the tendency to expect things to turn out better than probability predicts, nor is pessimism defined only as the tendency to expect things to turn out more poorly. Both terms are also used to describe the way we think about the causes of adversity, pessimism in particular being defined as the tendency to think about them in a way that makes us feel powerless. A pessimistic self-explanatory style, then, describes the tendency to attribute the causes of adversity to forces that are internal (“This is all my fault”), universal (“This affects absolutely everything”), and immutable (“This isn’t changeable”).
The Successful Optimist (entrepreneur.com)
Optimists make more money and are more loyal.
The optimist with high reality testing is a gold mine.
Pessimists are more accurate about reality than optimists.
There is nothing wrong with being a pessimist.
Pessimists are more likely to become depressed than their optimistic counterparts.
Optimists keep moving forward because they believe there are options.
Optimism, Pessimism, and Realism (hayeskaufman.wordpress.com)
While the optimist generally believes in the positive and favorable aspects of life, the realist will sometimes disagree taking the stance that we live in an unpredictable world that can be as bad as it is good. While the optimist realizes that there are situations, people, and incidents that are by definition bad, they tend to focus on what positive elements can be taken from those incidents. The realist will usually acknowledge (and accept) those positive elements but they will also focus on why bad things happen, i.e. – there are bad people in the world/stuff happens/life isn’t perfect, etc.
An easy way to change how you think (the1bigthing.com)
In the past 15 years Psychologists have turned their attention to what makes us happy in life. The research is loud and clear, your thinking has a huge impact on this. This post looks at what the research shows is ‘good’ thinking, what is not and shows an easy way to change how you think.
Which one is better: Optimist or pessimist? (umsenglish2011.wordpress.com)
Human personality traits can be inherited and learned. Nativists believe personality traits are inherited and empiricists believe personality traits are experienced.
Both nativists and empiricists still argue whether personality traitsare inherited or experienced.

Being optimists are also taught in religion. For instance Islam, of course, our religion taught us to be optimists.
As moslems, we are also taught that being positive can have big impact on our body and longevity.
It has being said that positive thinking is not only broader our future but also prolong our lifespan. It is self-evident that being positive is not only for our health and well-being but also for our achievement in life.
Finally, what should we choose? Either way could be disappointed depends on yourself.
Then, I recommend you to be an optimist person because some researches, even our religion,
have shown that being positive can reduce stress, increased immune system, prolong your life,
and above all the very quality of your life.
You have probably had someone tell you to “look on the bright side” or to “see the cup as half full.” Chances are good that the people who make these comments are positive thinkers. Researchers are finding more and more evidence pointing to the many benefits of optimism and positive thinking.
Such findings suggest that not only are positive thinkers healthier and less stressed, they also have greater overall well-being. Even if positive thinking does not come naturally to you, there are plenty of great reasons to start cultivating affirmative thoughts and minimizing negative self-talk.
Positive Thinkers Cope Better With Stress
When faced with stressful situations, positive thinkers cope more effectively than pessimists. In one study, researchers found that when optimists encounter a disappointment (such as not getting a job or promotion) they are more likely to focus on things they can do to resolve the situation. Rather than…

The American president, Donald Trump, succeeded in taking personal control of the U.S. A. economy and tried to control the Federal Reserve Board, threatening Jerome Powell with unflattering stories about his expenditures on the Fed’s building and Fed governor Lisa Cook with stories about her home loan. Furthermore, he imposed his will on key industries, […]
Yesterday, I watched an interview with a Suriname dancer who talked about the stance of Dutch people (or people on the continent). It surprised me how today’s coloured dancers are not treated like their white counterparts. They receive less attention and opportunities than white dancers. And when they are asked to perform, it seems that […]
Democrats have a golden opportunity right now to start winning over disapointed voters by decrying MAGA Republicans’ cuts to Medicare and Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act’s rising premiums against the backdrop of another GOP tax giveaway to the top 1% and big corporations. The USA is facing a”dictator-in-chief” and president’s “fascism dressed in a red tie” agenda. Democrats, […]
At the beginning of March 2025, Keir Starmer has said Europe is “at a crossroads in history” and must act to support Ukraine to secure a lasting peace as he confirmed the UK and France would lead a “coalition of the willing” to help end the fighting. For years, Europe has regarded the United States […]

CITY OF DESTRUCTION; (˓ı̂r haheres; “city of destruction”; “Ir-hahares,” KJV). This place is mentioned only in Isa. 19:18. Various explanations are given as to the meaning of the word the NASB and NIV render “City of Destruction”: 1. “The city of the sun,” a translation of the Egyptian sacred name of Heliopolis. This is the […]
We landed this week in a very special week for several religious people. For Catholics, Orthodox, and many Protestants, Holy Week is the most sacred time of the year. In many countries, traditionally, it is more important than Christmas, as it focuses on the central event of the gospel: the death and resurrection of Jesus. […]
Herod the Great … was sometimes known as Herod I (see article Herod). The first gospel relates that “Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king” (Matt. 2:1; cf. Luke 1:5). Josephus, the celebrated Jewish priest and historian, born a.d. 37, affirms in both his historical works that Herod […]
CROWN OF THORNS. The Roman soldiers made a crown out of some thorny plant and crowned our Lord in mockery (Matt. 27:29). “The object was not to cause suffering, but to excite ridicule; so that while we cannot altogether dissociate the idea of something painful from this crown of thorns we must not conceive of […]
CHALDEES (kalʹdîz). This is a variant form of the term Chaldeans used in the expression “Ur of the Chaldees” (Neh. 9:7). The qualifying phrase “of the Chaldees [Chaldeans]” is not an anachronism as many critics hold (cf. Finegan, Light from the Ancient Past [1946], p. 57). Instead, as in the case of numerous archaic place […]

Find people you can submit to. Another way we add vulnerability to our power is by proactively seeking out accountability. Historically, this was known as the discipline of submission, and it was seen as essential to pastoral health and vitality. Pay It Forward Camille: Paul writes in Philippians: “Brothers and sisters, join in imitating me, and observe those who live according to the example you have in us” (Phil. 3:17). Christian humanist mentoring blends faith with human potential, emphasising spiritual growth through mentorship, focusing on applying Scripture to real life, developing character (virtues like wisdom, compassion), seeing God in human experience, and fostering holistic growth (mind, heart, service) to become fully Christ-like. It uses models like Jesus’ discipleship to build up individuals to glorify God […]
In East Asia, the Confucian tradition has influenced teaching, learning, and mentoring for millennia. It was traditionally believed that Confucius *1 had three thousand students, and he was a mentor to seventy-two disciples who belonged to his inner circle. Confucius’s disciples and followers later compiled the Analects*2 to preserve the teachings of the master, a […]
The Long Tradition Catholic mentoring in the spiritual life — before and after the Protestant Reformation — continued to take place almost entirely within the frame of religious vows, among men and women who, like ancient philosophers, chose to commit themselves to (what they regarded as) a higher and more difficult expression of Christian identity. A Constant Struggle For communities of African descent there is no historical closure to our freedom movement but rather ongoing continuities. Expanding the Perimeters of Feminist Mentoring Every now and then, at our faculty meetings at Austin Seminary, President Ted Wardlaw turns to a member of the faculty and asks: “Dr. So-and-So, what is recruitment?” And the person responds: “Recruitment is everyone’s business.” Every time this little ritual occurs, everyone present is reminded that the day […]

Bible prophecies do not deal only with the ancient past. They also accurately foretell events that are taking place in our day. But at the moment we focus at numerous prophecies preserved in the Hebrew Scriptures (commonly called the Old Testament) which long before the man was born told about events which would happen in his time and around him, his betrayal, humiliation, torture, execution, death, and burial. From those writings of the Old and New Testament nobody should have doubts who that man is who is called Immanuel, the son of man and Messiah, born out of the root of Jess in the tribe of king David.
In Scripture, all things are directed towards a man who was a servant of servants, in whom people should come to have faith. First we saw the connection with Eve and her seed, and in this article you may see the connection with Abraham.
Already in the Old Testament we find the focus on a son of man who is called the son of God, who shall be the most pure set apart (holy) servant of God who was been told about in the Garden of Eden, to be the one bruised.
Many Old Testament writers wrote about the prophet to come, about whom is spoke in the book of Moses and who shall be the special “Seed of a woman” given by God and who will bruise Satan’s head whilst his heel would be bruised with nails on the wooden stake.

Hasmonean architecture survives mostly in the remains of palaces, fortifications, and desert fortresses. Among the exceptional works of the Hasmonean dynasty was the series of desert fortresses that included Alexandrium, Dok, Cypros, Hyrcania, Machaerus, and apparently, also Masada. The main purpose of these fortresses was to create places of refuge for members of the Hasmonean […]

Does one need proof to come to a certain belief? We can look at the signs in nature and find out what happened to certain people in the past, such as Noah and Paul. With the Book of Books, Allah has provided the world with His Interpretative Word.
When we speak about “Faith” (iman) we look at acceptance of the Belief in the existence and oneness of God (Allah).and the existence of the Book of books of which God is the author, existing of five main parts, the Torah (revealed to Moses),,the Psalms (revealed to David).and the Writings of Kings and prophets as well as the Gospel (revealed to Jesus) with the writings of his apostles,
