thank you for listening to my rantings and hurling of vulgarities in expressing the deep frustration i had when i saw the pink slip. i thought it through and am aye okay now (:

throughout the course of the week, i spoke to many with really good grades who're signing up for the same course as me. i feel my position compromised!! haha but i shall not be shaken. read Isaiah 55:11! been kinda forced to read scriptures this week in the many meetings we had with camp comm. meetups and sharings, though brief, has made me come to appreciate little things in lfe.

the ultimate was the planning of the games, we literally just whack all our orientation and past camp experiences. and the games basically revolved around FLOUR MUD SOAP. omgwtfbbqqqqq! hahahah it's so gonna be hell lot of fun. hhaha sorry i take back the word 'hell', keeping in mind this is A church camp.

ok. for being so mean with my game ideas, i got my retribution. my partner has to back out from organising camp session cos he's some final year attachment project which forbids him to come church to help :s jiayou rowena, with the help of trudy and russell.

i've come to terms with the ways of life. you give and take. you have ups and downs. good times and bad. that's why life isnt a bed of roses. AND, even if it was a bed of roses, do remember that the roses have thorns on them.

Ah ha. life's like a sandwich made by your mother. you like the ham and the cheese. but you hate the lettuce and wholemeal bread. your mother (out of love) forces you to down the sandwich because it's for your own good. Life's like that. you're forced to live your life and accept, come what may. good is bound to be accompanied by bad. just tell yourself that "I LOVE LETTUCE AND WHOLEMEAL BREAD" and you'll love life.

does this make sense? cos i've been thinking a lot about such stuff recently. like, you want a good thing that you've been thinking so much about to happen to you. and the likelihood of it happening is actually really slim. you then brood over that thing that failed to happen, and dont look around your surrounding at all the other wonderful things that in fact, did happen!

it is said that singaporeans are not happy people because they cant find a reason to be happy. but. they forgot that it's not because singaporeans have NO reason to be happy, but on the contrary, are spoilt for choice over the things to be happy about! and because it perpetually seems NOT enough, they remain souls in misery. it is this discontented and undecided mindset which they refuse to alter or modify that causes this feeling, ordeal. manmade self-inflicted catastrophe. so uncalled for.

so i've decided i'll be happy and contented with whatever happens in my life, walk it well and live it to the full. afterall, every sixty seconds spent upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back, remember?

when i first heard of it,
it was really quite lame.
Had this coversation with yifan which made me laugh.

since i got the news on monday,
