Rethinking Life

Fancy fish…

this
is a very fancy fish
but I’m sure that she
or he
doesn’t even know how beautiful
she or he is
since
fish as a group
might not be into beauty
the way humans are
I seriously doubt
that they spend their days
trying to improve their looks
instead
they accept themselves
as they are
and get on with swimming
and finding dinner
while hoping that no one is thinking
about putting their names
on the menu
