Rethinking Life

Okay, so…RANT (2 pictures and an important site to check out)

Here’s the thing.  Before I do my blog I usually look up pictures that I think are funny, beautiful, or relevant.  What I have found is that apparently, we are ALL beautiful, ALL going to have fantastic lives, ALL winners, ALL loved, ALL capable of doing great things, ALL doing what we love and on and on and and on.  Or we should be/feel all of those things.

If the sayings and signs are any indication, either people believe those things about themselves, or many people are failures.  All the signs put the responsibility TO BE SOMETHING AND SOMEONE, on the shoulders of the people who can’t possibly fulfill expectations of the millions of signs out there.  Just add a little more mascara, or make more money.

What’s with all the homework?

If everyone is “special,” then is anyone special?  Doesn’t “everyone” mean production line?  Everyone is the same, no one stands out or is unlike the rest?  Cookie cutter life.  Everyone gets a trophy?

Everyone is not beautiful, inside or out.  Not everyone is lovable, or well loved.  Many people despise their jobs.  People are divorced, their kids are driving them insane, they are poor, hungry, miserable.  Others are happy, or pretending to be happy, whatever.

I have signs.  I love signs.  Just not the ones that make people feel bad, or lie.

The pictures I see of women are embarrassing.  They look pathetic.  Arms above their head, eyes closed, holding a leaf or something silly.   Not cool.  I saw one this morning (see below) where I couldn’t figure out if she was waiting for someone to throw something from above, like laundry, flowers, a baby, so she could catch it, or she was having some kind of religious experience. The expectations are insane.  The signs are a joke.

Be happy.  I would love for everyone to be happy, but I don’t believe it’s possible in a world where you die in a back alley abortion, because the government owns your body and you can’t afford another child after being raped, or you’re only 10 years old.  How happy, or beautiful is that?

Wars, minimum wage, racism, sexism, blah, blah, blah.  But do what you love,  which is something that could end badly.

Demonstrators just blocked the road to O’Hare airport.  I am against them without even caring what they were protesting.  You don’t screw up an airport where innocent people are going somewhere, possibly somewhere important to them, because you’re pissed off.  That is NOT a peaceful demonstration that’s being a moron and I have been in more demonstrations than I can count.

People aren’t all that happy.  The world we have made is not a happy place for those dying of starvation, for lack of water or medication.  Wars that kill kids, our kids, someone else’s kids, for rich insane men, do not make a happy world.  But people have been told to concentrate on the “little things,” so they don’t noticed the BIG things.

Do what you love.  Well, dictators are doing just that.  America is crumbling because the rich and powerful are doing what they love and what they love is crushing the people who live here, to get more for themselves.  Not a good sign to have on your kitchen sink.

Even the whisper of  no longer letting women vote should be shocking and cause for screaming alarm and it’s being said. Our “RIGHTS” are in the hands of idiot men and conservatives who want to go back to the “good old” days where women couldn’t work, or have a bank account in their own name.  Maybe soon, girls won’t be able to attend school.  Sound familiar?   They have already made health care workers, into criminals, if they do their job and care for their female patients.  Making abortion illegal, makes doctors criminals, while the government has no problem sending our children to wars where they are killed, captured, tortured, physical harmed for life, or drug addicted.  That’s okay with them.  Women are not okay with them. They have to control US.  Take away what we fought for, for years.  I didn’t see any signs about that.  Women are more dangerous than war.

Oh, and I just read that men are “dating”  and having conversations with AI women they can design themselves.  I guess they have finally found the perfect woman.  She’ll never ask questions, will build up their egos and well, she’ll be perfect.  I’m not sure where this will go but it might be a good thing, or a bad thing.  We, the living women, will never be what AI women can be, since our programing only goes so far, and the men can apparently choose eye color hair, bust size, and all the rest of their AI.  Build A Bear has been overtaken by BUILD A WOMAN.  Kind of like those old movies where a store dummy comes alive.  Anyway, the future for the AI girlfriends look bright and rosy. A billion dollar bright and rosy.  Perhaps they’ll make a sign for that…AI WOMEN DO IT BETTER, GET AN AI GIRLFRIEND, she’s everything you want and you don’t have to ever pay for dinner, or a night out and you can stop her from talking by just turning her off.   It’s not cheap, but it will be worth it for some men to have their fantasy fulfilled.  I wonder if women will eventually get the perfect man.  Probably not because they still won’t help around the house, or watch the kids.  Here’s the article from Bored Panda.

Well, I’ll go look at pictures of vegetables and be happy.  I’m not crazy about most vegetables and I don’t cook anymore, but I do like the pictures and I’ll think about how beautiful I am, how loved I am,  and how I’m doing what I love.  OMG the insanity of it all.

YOU don’t have to be anything other than satisfied with yourself.  I’m good with that…of course, I am beautiful and well loved and doing just what I want to do.  HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
