👋 Hi, I'm Daniel Hofheinz

TL;DR: I build agentic developer tooling that ships code — Python, TypeScript/React, any stack — with a soft spot for retro-computing aesthetics and rigorous software design.

What I do

  • Agentic AI workflows: sub-agent orchestration, IDE integration, GitHub Actions, SDK extensions (Claude Code tinkering galore).
  • Systems & backend: Python, FastAPI, async I/O, modularity, extensibility, maintainability, observability.
  • Frontend glue: React + TypeScript, Tailwind; pragmatic, testable UI.
  • Security/fintech: Stripe integrations, least-privilege design, and privacy/CCPA-aware patterns.
  • Creative R&D: retro UI/CRT vibes, pixel-art-inspired UX, and generative art prompts.

Current focus

  • Designing agentic dev pipelines that keep context per task, run in parallel, and stay debuggable.
  • Hardening a modular API manager (caching, retries, backoff, metrics) as a drop-in component.
  • Evolving a orchestrated workspace with chat, per-branch preview sidecars, and fast feedback loops.

Principles

  • Correctness > cleverness.

  • Iterate, measure, refine.
