Hello, My name is Samuel Yanuck, I am in the United States. I am raising funds on behalf of Fatima Sahwil and her family. They are currently trapped and displaced within Gaza and suffering greatly through this brutal Genocide. Please Consider supporting this Palestinian family. The funds raised will be sent to Fatima's Aunt in Kuwait who will transfer the funds to Fatima's Bank of Palestine account.
From Fatima:
Hello, I am Fatima Sahwil. I am 19 years old. My family consists of 4 members: my mother (52), my father (54), myself, and my little brother, Ibrahim (15). We had a warm, beautiful home for our small, beautiful family. Our life was joyful and very safe, including eating and enjoying meals with family and friends, outings, and family gatherings. I was happy to enroll in the specialty of human medicine because I dreamed of becoming a doctor to help others. I will not forget the first day of university because it was the beginning of achieving my dream. I only studied for 10 days, and then the shameful October 7 came, and our entire house was bombed by the Israeli occupation on October 12, 2023.
We were displaced several times from one place to another, and it was difficult for us to live in these places, in tents and schools with many other people seeking refuge after their homes were destroyed as well. Each time it cost us a huge sum of money to move from one place to another, and now we are displaced for the sixth time to the area claimed to be safe by the Israeli occupation, Mawasi Khan Younis.
My father and I are living in a tent. It is not safe and could easily be destroyed with us inside of it. We are in an area where it is difficult to obtain water. We buy water, whether potable or non-drinkable, but we do not even have enough money to buy water anymore. As for food, all prices are very high and keep getting more expensive. There is a severe shortage of clothes, cleaning tools, kitchen tools, and everything. It is a very difficult life.
My father is sick with chronic disease (hypertension) and his medicine is not available for him, and my mother suffers from cartilage issues in her back and needs an operation to fix it.
At the beginning of the war, my brother Ibrahim was injured by the Israeli occupation in his hand and it was broken. He and my mother have managed to evacuate to Egypt, but he still needs medical care for his hand. My father and I are still in Gaza and need money to evacuate.
I would also like to complete my university studies, which requires a lot of money. The cost is approximately $7,000 per year for 7 years. I wish for my family to be in a safe and comfortable place, with medical attention available, and to continue my education. I hope that my brother can finish his studies and go on to continue his education as well. It is unfortunate that it costs a lot of money that we do not have, and we need your help to achieve this. We have not been able to work or save any money for 8 months now, so it is very difficult to afford anything at all. Thank God our lives have been spared, but we are still suffering every day. Please help us if you can.
Thank you in advance for standing with us.$18,000 Evacuation costs for 3 adults $49,000 Education $30,000 for Operations & other medical expenses including travel & care $3,000 to cover any fees/taxes from GFM and WU transfers.
