Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me.

DEVOTION
Let’s face it, we all go through things; stress at work, trials we face, or things that disrupt our lives. We have a choice; face them head-on or hand them over to God.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve tried to shoulder these situations and come out overflowing with stress. But I’ve learned that handing them over to God is the ONLY choice.
Let go and let God!

Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church.

DEVOTION
Servant leaders must balance servanthood and leadership. One challenge of servant leadership is balancing the selflessness of servanthood with the forthright management sometimes required of leaders.
When we deal with others, it’s important we approach every conversation with love. If we allow the world to gain even a small foothold, we lose our Christ-like reflection and run the risk of turning people away.

We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.

DEVOTION
We all depend on one another’s work. This interdependence is not a weakness, but a gift from God.

In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. – Rom 12:6
We need each other if we are to be successful.

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

DEVOTION
God created Eve in the Garden because He saw that Adam was alone. He created us to thrive in relationships with others.
God has placed people in your lives for a reason. We should always do our best to be a positive influence, reflecting Christ in the way we treat others.
Reflect on those God has surrounded you with. Love them and be grateful they are in your life.
DAILY VERSE
“O Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you; I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things, plans formed of old, faithful and sure.”

DEVOTION
God had plans for you from the start. As He formed you in your mother’s womb, He a path for you. He had blessings stored up, special gifts to endow you with, and people you affect for His glory.
Your life is not an accident. You were carefully crafted by God himself. He skillfully made you and His love for you abounds daily!

DEVOTION
Being a leader, using Christ as an example, looks nothing like the leadership the world has to offer.
Jesus, who reigns over the universe, performs an act of lowly service. In doing so He shows us the purpose of godly work: to benefit others.
Leaders who pattern their leadership after Jesus are called to accomplish their organization’s goals by meeting the needs of others, especially those they lead.
Jesus, as I reflect on your example, help me serve as you did. Amen.
