DJ Turner: Breaking News

Turner suffered a calf injury in Sunday's 20-18 loss to the Browns, Charlie Goldsmith of the Dayton Daily News reports. Turner sustained the injury late in the second half, and he was ultimately unable to return to action. With Cincinnati's season now over, the cornerback will have plenty of time to recover from the injury during the offseason.

Turner (illness) did not appear on the injury report Wednesday. Turner battled through an illness in Week 16, playing a season-low 27 defensive snaps in the team's win over the Dolphins. The cornerback now appears to be back to full strength ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Cardinals.

Turner (illness) is questionable to return to Sunday's matchup versus the Dolphins. Turner is dealing with an illness leaving his status for the rest of the game up in the air. Josh Newton and DJ Ivey should see increased playing time if Turner ends up being unable to return.
