Bobby Portis : Questionable for Friday
Portis (hip) is questionable for Friday's game versus the Pacers. Portis has missed the past two games, but it looks like there's a chance he could return Friday. If Portis can get back on the court, there would be fewer minutes available for Andre Jackson and Pete Nance.
Gary Harris : Iffy for Friday
Harris is questionable for Friday's game against the Pacers due to a left hamstring strain. The veteran sharpshooter is looking to end a four-game absence caused by the injury. With Amir Coffey having been traded away, Harris could see some decent burn off the bench if he's able to suit up.
Ousmane Dieng : Flipped to Milwaukee
The Bulls traded Dieng to Milwaukee with Nick Richards going to Chicago, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. Dieng was traded to Chicago on Wednesday, and now he's been flipped again. Milwaukee is not a bad landing spot for Dieng, as the team could pivot toward a youth movement down the stretch with Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) on the sidelines. Dieng should be considered questionable to debut Friday against the Pacers.
Giannis Antetokounmpo : Not expected to be traded
The Bucks have indicated to teams that they intend to keep Antetokounmpo (calf) through Thursday's trade deadline, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. Antetokounmpo has been the biggest name in the rumor mill ahead of the trade deadline, with multiple reports suggesting that the Bucks and the two-time MVP were exploring a potential split. However, the team will hold onto the superstar for the time being and instead focus on other moves ahead of the deadline. While the veteran forward could still be traded this offseason, he'll remain in Milwaukee through at least the end of this season. Antetokounmpo is currently sidelined by a right calf strain and is without a timetable for a return, but Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports that the superstar forward still plans on playing this season to help the Bucks make a postseason push.
Nick Richards : Shipped to Milwaukee
The Suns traded Richards and Nigel Hayes-Davis to the Bucks on Thursday in exchange for Cole Anthony and Amir Coffey, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. Richards fell out of favor in Phoenix, making only one four-minute appearance in January, but will get a fresh start in Milwaukee. He should slot right into the backup role behind Myles Turner, but with Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) and Bobby Portis (hip) currently banged up, Richards and Turner may see the court together at times. If Richards can't get to Milwaukee in time for Friday's game in Indiana, his next chance to suit up will come Monday in Orlando.
Jericho Sims : Holding down backup center role
Sims posted eight points (4-4 FG), six rebounds and four assists in 28 minutes during Wednesday's 141-137 overtime win over the Pelicans. Bobby Portis (hip) missed both halves of the Bucks' back-to-back set, enabling Sims to show what he's capable of as the No. 2 center option behind Myles Turner. Sims has logged at least eight points and six boards to go with multiple assists in consecutive outings, though his place in Milwaukee's rotation seems to be largely contingent upon the availability of Portis going forward.
Ryan Rollins : Piles up team-high 27 points
Rollins contributed 27 points (10-19 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 4-5 FT), four rebounds and four assists in 40 minutes during Wednesday's 141-137 overtime win over the Pelicans. Rollins led the Bucks in scoring, turning in at least 25 points for the eighth time this year. The fourth-year guard is enjoying a breakout 2025-26 campaign, and he should continue to do the heavy lifting offensively with Giannis Antetokounmpo's (calf) status in a state of flux. Rollins has put up at least 17 points in six straight games, during which he's averaging 22.5 points, 5.7 assists, 5.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 35.2 minutes per contest.
Amir Coffey : Emerges with season-high 16 points
Coffey accumulated 16 points (7-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 0-1 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one block in 25 minutes during Wednesday's 141-137 overtime win over New Orleans. The Bucks' depth at the forward spots is being tested by a number of absences, allowing Coffey to get a chance in the first unit. The 28-year-old has started consecutive games, though Coffey is unlikely to hang onto this role once Bobby Portis (hip) is ready to return to action. Despite Coffey's season-high 16 points, fantasy managers may want to take a wait-and-see approach before considering adding him.
