I Will Give You Rest (Revisited) Part 1

1)            It is quite easy to come into the understanding of the true personage of Jesus Christ. The entire Bible is the revelation of Jesus Christ, the Second Member of the Godhead. One of the several verses that points to His Personage is revealed when Jesus says, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). Let us treat this verse exegetically. The word ‘come’, deute (d̮yoo’-teh), is ‘an imperative “come here”!’ The next word I want to look at, ‘labour,’ is kopiao (ko-piy-aō’): ‘1. to feel fatigue. 2. (by implication) to work hard.’ Then we have ‘heavy laden’ which is one Greek word phortizo (for-tid’-zō): ‘1. (properly) to load up (a vessel or animal). 2. (figuratively) to overburden with ceremony (or spiritual anxiety).’ The last word for exegetical understanding is ‘rest’ which in Greek is anapauo (a-na-pav’-ō): ‘1. (reflexively) to repose, to rest. 2. (literally or figuratively) to be exempt, to remain. 3. (by implication) to refresh.’ Interestingly, the word ‘give’ is also anapauo, the same as ‘rest’. God, Who is never verbose, is laying stress on anapauo. “I will anapauo you anapauo” is categorically the eternally tamperproof rest of Divinity which the LORD God is offering to whoever accepts the “Come unto Me” invitation. Hallelujah!

The ‘labour’ and the ‘heavy laden’ stance, to His Jewry attenders, are everyday toils of sacrificial ritualism. The New Testamentary order of spiritual rapport with the heavenly Father was about to change, and Christ, in Whose name prayers must be offered, is seen here providing an intimation of the new and Living way to the Eternal Father. They toiled to raise enough money to purchase the sacrificial elements. They walked long distances after which they had to queue patiently for their turns for the priests to attend to them. The whole process could be really tiresome.

This is a spiritual matter. We do understand that only God gives rest; and when the said rest is especially spiritual, it makes it more unattributable to an angel or a human. If Jesus promises to give this rest, for the soul of man, then, this verse proves the facticity of His Divinity! What is Jesus Christ telling us here? “I am your sacrifice. Come to Me, if you need true salvation from your Adamic sinfulness. Get used to the One who took Israel out of the Egyptian bondage. I have come that you may have life, life in abundance!”

Of Matthew 11:28 “Come unto Me:” I agree with R. May that: 1. The invitation is condescending. 2. It is extensive and unconditional. III. The promise annexed. 1. Rest in your conscience from the dread of Divine wrath. 2. Rest in the will from its former corrupt propensities. 3. Heavenly rest for the people of God. (R May). The Greek deute, an imperative “Come!” makes the invitation condescending indeed. The utterance of “come” comes from the lips of the Saviour, Lord of lords and King of kings, the Almighty. Salvation is a must, ergo, a command. The “Come unto Me” involves every Adamic creature. All have sinned and come short of God’s glory, and for this reason it remains a categorical injunction for as many as would desire to be saved. It is a promise that extends to all mankind: young, old, great, small, rich, poor, the Caucasian, African, yellow and red skinned races.

These words of Jesus offer divine tranquility to the soul of every person that believes and receives Jesus as Lord and Saviour: for in Him alone salvation comes to its consummation. Anyone who finds himself in Christ becomes a new creature because His blood washes so clean that one remains eternally clean before the thrice holy God; and will never come to any divine condemnation. Eternal bliss of heaven is the main reason for coming to Jesus.

Religious ritualism, in actual fact, points to Jesus that takes away the sins of the world. Those who deal with the shadow of who they want to meet will definitely look like crazy idiots. The shadow does not have intelligence. The rituals of the Jerusalem Temple must come to an end when the One to whom those things truly represent manifests. The manifestation of the Second Member of the Godhead renders all religious toils absolutely obsolete in uselessness. Amen.

Jesus made mention of so many things to prove His divine nature. John 6:35 “And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.” This verse leaves none in doubt of Christ’s Divinity. Bread and water as common a need for humanity, does not constitute a negligible commonality. It represents food for growth and replenishment for the outward wellbeing and inner spiritual salubrity. Only the Being of Divinity maintains spiritual wellbeing. Jesus is not just physical hunger assuaging dough; He is our Living Food.

Jesus will give you rest only if you will receive His life. Get born again. Say this simple prayer:

In Our Image After Our Likeness (2)

2)            The Old Testamentary Scripture agrees with this Light in Psalm 27:1 “The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” Who is the Saviour? Jesus. Of whom does it say, “Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life” (John 8:12)? It is the Lord Jesus. Psalm 119:105 “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Who is this Word, and Who is the Lamp? Jesus has the answer in John 11:25 “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:” and the reason for this facticity as regards the person of Jesus is couched in Colossians 2:3 “In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.”

Genesis 1:26 “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” The word ‘image’ is the Hebraic tselem (tseh’-lem): ‘resemblance; hence a representative figure.’ Christ, from the day of Adamic conceptualisation, becomes the centrepiece of our existence. Man’s lordship over the sea, air and the terra firma ventilates the facticity of Psalm 82:6 “I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.” Divine Image endowment has suffered us to represent Jehovah on earth. The word ‘likeness,’ demûth (dem-ooth’), means: ‘resemblance; concretely model, shape.’ This demûth circumstantiates the anthropomorphic dimension of God. Creating Adam with a head, limbs and torso show Adamic semblance of the Divinity.

Divine Likeness has Scriptural support in Acts 17:29 “Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.” We were made after the similitude of the Living Jesus Christ. We are genuinely of Divinity. Divine Image of our being can be found in2Corinthians 4:4 “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” Like our divine Maker, we were made to keep us in constant remembrance of where we come from.

The creation of Adamic intelligence is a double pronged dexterous stratagem: first, to have an intelligent representative of the Divinity on earth, and secondly, to get Lucifer benetted, making use of the Adamic elevation. In his representative capacity as the man given dominion over all living things, Adam is the priest and ruler of the entire earth. He was given the job of getting things properly done in the world and its protection. It says in Genesis 2:15 “And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.” His two responsibilities are: ‘dress’ which is `abad (aw-ɓad’): ‘1. to work (in any sense). 2. (by implication) to serve, till.’ The next job, ‘keep’, shamar (shaw-mar’), means: ‘1. (properly) to hedge about (as with thorns), i.e. guard. 2. (generally) to protect, attend to, etc.’

We are expected to make Jesus our lifestyle. When He wanted to restore the sight of a blind man, Jesus said, “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. 5) As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world” (John 9:4-5). Jesus makes it clear to us, “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid” (Matthew 5:14). Our schedule of work takes its protocol from the Bible.

It will be quite disappointing for Adamic beings to disrespect the ‘after our likeness’ we share with the Godhead. We hardly treasure the affinity we share with Divinity. Those who give their ears to the whispering of Satanism wilfully disobey the word of God. Our selfish disposition account for our incontinence. It is terribly disappointing to mask our likeness and image with those things God hates.

If we desire to do God’s will, it begins with “Love your neighbour as thyself.” Does it not say, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8)? God did not wait till we change our satanic behaviours before His embarkation of the Golgotha crucifixion.

The truth is that we were made in the image and likeness of the Divinity for a trustability reason. God trusted Jesus to live a sinless life in order to actuate the soteriology. And what is expected of redeemed Christians?  Matthew 5:16 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:13 “Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.”

He made us in His image and likeness to give legality to divine protection over us forever.

Thank you Jesus for creating me in Your image after Your likeness. Praise the LORD!

In Our Image After Our Likeness (1)

1)            From day one of the creation of Adam, there was crystal obviosity that Christ is the centrepiece of existence. Does the scripting ink of the Apostolic didacticism, dwelling on His Divinity, not say, “All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made” of John 1:3? This same Jesus made the asseveration found in John 11:25-26 25) “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26) And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?” Resurrection into blissfulness of life eternal, having its Authorship in Jesus Christ, absolutely makes Him the centrepiece of existence, and on Him is the convergence of all eyes in heaven and on earth. Before anything was created it was of utmost importance that the Father must say, “Let there be light:” for all eyes of faith, faith that determines the terms and conditions of the soteriology must acknowledge the eternal Lordship of Jesus, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty King of kings. Amen.

In the first verse of Genesis the name ‘God,’ from the Hebraic ‘ĕlôhı̂ym (el-o-heem’), has the definition of plurality: ‘rulers, judges, divine ones.’ The unseen Father, to our earthly eyes, spoke. To the ocularly inaccessible eyes of Adamic intelligence sits the Holy Spirit, scripturally, like a mother hen, upon the face of the waters, in the second verse, generating the energy of His power of Divinity to bring to fructification, every word and intent of the Father, as co-Creator. And in the third verse, the ‘Light’ is not a mere object of illumination. This Light is the true Light of the first chapter of the Book of John. Verses 6 to 9 read: “There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7) The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8) He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9) That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.”

This eternal Light is the Second Member of the Godhead; and He is the only One of the Trinity Whose physical existence adorns the manifestation of human eyes. How do I know of the eternality of this divine Light? It says without equivocation concerning eternity to come in Revelation 21:22-23 “And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. 23) And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.” The Light of the world to come is Jesus. Why? So that in focusing on Jesus, the knowledge of the Godhead and how to please God must be readily made available.

John 1:14 “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” It is not the Eternal Father Who was made flesh, neither was it the Energizing Holy Spirit; it was Jesus the Christ Who became flesh, Who was not flesh before all things came into being. The word ‘made’ is not the Greek gennaō (ghen-nah’-o): ‘procreate or regenerate’; it is not even poiēma (poy’-ay-mah): ‘that which has been made; a work; of the works of God as creator;’ neither is it ktizō (ktid’-zo): ‘to create, fabricate, form.’  Ginomai (ghin’-om-ahee) is the Greek for ‘made’ in John 1:14 and it means: ‘to become, i.e. to come into existence.’ You cannot procreate the eternality of Christ; He is not a product of creationism. The phenomenality of the Word becoming flesh is the facticity that God came physical into our world – the Incarnation! The Eternal Christ wore a man called Jesus the way you wear your shirt.

Jesus is the Creator of all things. For this reason is the Scripture which says, “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God” (Hebrews 12:2). Seated at the right hand makes Jesus the eternal power of God – you cannot beat that! By the ingenuity of providential design, we have the image of the Almighty.

Now, God knew that Christ, the Creator, must come down to our Adamic level for the actuation of the soteriological conception. We must, therefore, take His image to enable the legal expediency of the soteriology. It was a premeditated conceptualisation when the Father said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:” for without Christ, the prototype Image, there can be nothing made that needs to be made. Man’s extrication from sinfulness would never happen without the involvement of the Image after which  we were created. He made us in His image and likeness to give legality to divine protection over us forever.

NOAH’S ARK (IT’S ESSENCE) three

3)            The ark foreshadows Jesus. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. What Noah preached for one hundred and twenty years to save them from the impending destruction, Jesus taught to Nicodemus and by extension everybody: that the True Ark has come down and those who, like in Noah’s days, do not doubt that Jesus has come to give life in abundance will be saved. Jude 1:1 “Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called: and the word ‘called’, klētos (klay-tos’) means: ‘invited (to a banquet); invited (by God in the proclamation of the Gospel) to obtain eternal salvation in the kingdom through Christ; invited, that is, appointed, or (specifically) a saint.’

Now, before the call there was a preservation in Christ. ‘Preserved’ is tēreō (tay-reh’-o): ‘to guard (from loss or injury, properly by keeping the eye upon. If tēreō points to the Almighty’s guard of His investment from injury or loss, why are my people throwing the unscriptural scare of: “You will lose your salvation if you commit sin,” in our faces and hearts? And all the while, there was in God, the Father, sanctification. ‘Sanctified’ is hagiazō (hag-ee-ad’-zo): ‘to make holy, that is, (ceremonially) purify or consecrate; (mentally) to venerate.’ On account of the fact that the Trinitarian influence of Divinity is actively involved in the preservation of every Christian, the maintenance of the soteriology is not in the hands of any child of God. The contents of the Ark are absolutely taken care of by Divine Insurance! In Christ, the Ark, the family of Noah was preserved for about three hundred and sixty-five days, even in the raging tumultuous weather on water that spread over the entire globe. Not one soul was lost. They all lived through the Great Deluge to tell the story to their children and their children-children.

John 11:25 “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: for life eternal with the Father in heaven is only through Jesus. They were like buried people when they were in the ark for one whole year. The original sin plunged mankind in death. By the grace of God, through Noah’s faith which he made available to his household, they lived to see the end of the deluge, and centuries after that. The life that sustained them in the ark pointed to the True Ark, Jesus Christ. Why would God give the antediluvian salvation to members of only one family?

“And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation” (Genesis 7:1). Christians are children of the household of God. The Bible is the source of this facticity. Matthew 6:9 “After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.” when Jesus revealed this truth to them, He called Christians His Brothers. Matthew 5:48 “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” In point of legality and in point of gregariousness our Divine sonship is here established in Matthew 5:48.

The prophet of God proclaimed in Isaiah 64:8 “But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.” The proof of God’s Paternity of Christians is also taught in this verse: “For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father” (Romans 8:15). The Greek for ‘adoption’ is uihothesia (hwee-oth-es-ee’-ah): ‘the placing as a son, that is, adoption (figuratively Christian sonship in respect to God).’ Another Pauline couch says, “And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father” (Galatians 4:6). We do not call God our Father with the impudence of blasphemy; the Holy Spirit Himself prompts this familial effusion. The Holy Spirit makes sure that inside the believer who has truly received Jesus as his personal Saviour is an irrevocable implant of familial DNA of God.

The ark preserved a family. It was not only the family of Noah; it was looking in the future family of God, the Christians. This is the essence of the building of the ark. The Bible says “And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man” in Genesis 2:22. The word ‘made’ is the Hebraic banah (baw-naw’) meaning: ‘to build.’ The creation of the Woman is the creation of the Bride of Christ – the building of Christians. Noah’s ark domiciled God’s family.

Who do you think closed the door of Noah’s Ark? Genesis 7:16 “And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in.” The word ‘LORD’ is the Hebraic yehôvâh (yeh-ho-vaw’): ‘the self-existing One; the God of Israel; the Creator.’ Why would the LORD God personally shut the door of the ark? It is the same reason why the code that opens an all-important safe is very personal to the owner. Like Noah, Christianity is God’s eternal property: eternally safe! Amen!

NOAH’S ARK (IT’S ESSENCE) two

2)            It is not just a vessel – Noah’s Ark –, it is the divine treasure box to preserve and protect the lives of His saints. Who are God’s saints? They are generation of holy people called out of darkness into the marvellous light of Jesus, where our lives show forth the praises of the Most High. You may want to ask, “Why did God put His saints in a chest?” The LORD God made a huge investment in the Adamic elevation. The last of intelligent being of the creationism, Adam the female, carried the Divine actuation of the soteriology in her. Salvation of mankind having been conclusively proved in the rising of the Eden Woman from the deathlike sleep of Adam, from whom she was formed, the LORD God rested from all His works of the recreationism! It is another way of saying, “It is done!” God had to wait until the number eight summed up those that will enter the ark. Noah alone would not have been kosher. One represents the unity of the Godhead. Noah, in his sinlessness, did not possess true unity with the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. Two saints would have been inappropriate. Two, being of witness and testimony, would wrongly rank them as being members of Godhead.

Three stands for the Trinity which they, who needed redemption, were not a part. Four is creation which could probably give them the tag of new creators. The grace, solely of God, is the number five. God did not save six: for it is a reminder of the day of Adam’s creation who became a sinner. Man is not perfect so seven antediluvian saints should not be the occupants of divine chest of very valuable souls. Eight stands for new beginning; the number eight of antediluvian saints was most proper. God wanting to begin a new thing, the freaky pollution of the world by fallen angels and their irredeemable progenies must be absolutely removed. Now, where would God keep the redeemable souls of Adamic existence? Of course, inside what is considered Divine reliquary. Why would Jesus die for us? To redeem unto Himself His priceless jewelry of Christianity – God’s holy people.

Genesis 1:26 “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. What, or rather, who is the ‘our image’ of this verse? 2Corinthians 4:4 “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. Glorified in the eternal image of Christ, Adam was like God and is actually the lord of the earth. No wonder the Devil must crave for the office of Adam as the false god of this world.

Psalm 82:6 “I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. The eminence of the souls of antediluvian saints would not allow God to put them – God’s inestimable investment – in anything short of the ark. If God called His chosen ones ‘gods’ then we have the responsibility to judge matters of spiritual import. We are ambassadors for Christ, teaching the will and ways of God. Noah’s ark saw to the preservation of Christianity: for the foreknowledge of God had apprehended their appropriate existence in His Kingdom.

John 10:34 “Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? As lesser gods are we not spiritually related to the LORD God? We were preserved to live to please Him. The Lord knows those who would do His will: “For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring(Acts 17:28). The ark was truly the only place He could get us full protection. While the whole world died, the occupants of the ark lived in His protection.

Who do you think closed the door of Noah’s Ark? Genesis 7:16 “And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in. The word ‘LORD’ is the Hebraic yehôvâh (yeh-ho-vaw’): ‘the self-existing One; the God of Israel; the Creator.’ Why would the LORD God personally shut the door of the ark? It is the same reason why the code that opens an all-important safe is very personal to the owner. Like Noah, Christianity is God’s eternal property: eternally safe!

NOAH’S ARK (IT’S ESSENCE) one

1)          It was not a mere vessel to sail them from sinners’ world to a new abode of righteousness that Noah was commissioned to build, it was a treasure chest of God’s love. There were two distinct antediluvians in the days of Noah. Those from Adam, through the lineage of Seth, were the ones I call the antediluvian saints. Enos, the son of Seth, grew up during the global, spiritual revival that prompted imbibitional culture of “then began men to call upon the name of the LORD (Genesis 4:26). True public worship in praises, hymns, prayers and sacrificial functionalities were done in the covenantal name of Jehovah. This reality was probably sneered at by the antediluvian miscreants led by their progenitor and priest, Cain, the first promoter of Satanism. Two sons of Adam brought forth a dichotomous spirituality on the globe.

The terribleness of Adamic wickedness got heightened in Genesis 6:1-7 1“And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, 2) That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. 3) And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. 4) There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. 5) And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6) And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 7) And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

The resultant birth of those ones who emerged from parturient involvement of the daughters of Adamic nature and angels did not only give their offspring strides of acts of giantism, their existence was the freakishness of fiendishness. Angelic marriage to Adamic offspring can only produce freaks of half men half angels. The said sons of God cannot be the children of Seth, because his existence was not a direct creation from God, like his father, Adam. Seth came through the sexual efforts of Adamic progeny. The Eternality of Jehovah must create intelligent beings who will live forever. The marked evil and good dichotomy of Adam’s children made God to decide to save the antediluvian saints and annihilate the Noachian miscreants.

The Bible says, “But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD(Genesis 6:8). To find grace in God’s eyes comes with a responsibility. The responsibility of a born again Christian is to love the LORD his God with all his heart, mind, strength and thought. He must, as a necessity, shine the light of Jesus for all to behold. Noah’s responsibility was to lead the righteous antediluvians away from God’s righteous indignation. Genesis 6:13-14 13) “And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth. 14) Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch. The word ‘ark’ is têbâh (tay-baw’) meaning: ‘coffer, box and chest.’

The Fruit Of The Knowledge Of Good And Evil (2)

2)            To the logical intent of human philosophical reasoning, God probably put the offensive tree in the midst Eden Garden for the sufferance of spiritual cohabitation between Adamic race and evil. Does it not make it clear in 2Corinthians 6:14 “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness?” Our cohabitation with the seed of evil is never the will of God. It is as the result of Luciferian pollution. “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him” (Revelation 12:9).

It is not divine intention to have us cohabit with Satanism; the true reason is to give us the awareness of evil incursion. What remarkable deed did God do in the first four days of the recreationism? On day one He ‘divided’ the light from the darkness. On day two He ‘divided’ the waters from the waters; and on day three the terra firma was separated from the water. On the fourth day the lights were made to ‘divide’ the day from the night. The Hebrew word for ‘divided’ or ‘divide’ is bâdal (baw-dal’): ‘to separate; sever; set apart; make a distinction, difference; to be excluded.’

Man was never placed close to this tree for man’s management of it; a complete severance of it, is the intention of the Divinity. Adam had permissible contact with the other trees and their fruits “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die” (Genesis 2:17). Adam’s acquiescence to enter into business with the enemy is an unholy inclusion that failed to exclude Lucifer in their affairs.

The tree of the knowledge of good and evil is to test Adamic obedience. I sincerely believe that if the pristine family had victoriously ostracized the cursed tree and, especially, lived to one thousand years of their existence, the LORD God, Who walked in the Garden every cool of the day would have brought for them, clothes to further prove their lordship over the cosmos. God wants to see the true Christ-like lifestyle in the Adamic elevation. It takes true obedience to love the LORD God with all the heart, mind, thought and strength. It does require from an individual, true obedience, to adhere strictly to, “Ye shall observe to do therefore as the LORD your God hath commanded you: ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left” (Deuteronomy 5:32). The word ‘observe’ is shâmar (shaw-mar’): ‘to keep, guard, give heed, have charge of, keep watch and ward, protect, save life.’

The first ever instructions God gave to Adam on his day of creation is, “to dress it and to keep it” (Genesis 2:15); where ‘dress’ is ‛âbad (aw-bad’): ‘to work, serve, to labour, till;’ and ‘keep’ is shâmar (shaw-mar’) the same as ‘observe’ of Deuteronomy 5:22. Disappointingly, Adam failed to protect his Eden residence, which is truly God’s house. He failed to guard against the incursion of Satanism, which can only be possible by his inability to use the Word of God. Disobedience to the Word of God is definitely a yielding to the entrapment of Satanism.

If it is wrong for Adam to cohabit with an emblem of Satanism, both in social and spiritual terms, Adam’s free moral agency must work towards the absolute uprooting of that tree that the Devil used to cause our downfall. When they fell, what did God do? Genesis 3:21 “Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.” God used the skin of recumbency to cover our sin after being propitiated by the blood of those animals, which points to the event of Golgotha.

Adam should never have disobeyed God. Why? “And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. 23) For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king” (1Samuel 15:22-23). They failed to live in obedience: for the person of evil made sure that they should not understand that, “obedience is better than sacrifice.”
