REJECT THE WORDS OF JESUS TO YOUR OWN PERIL (2)

2)            Who would have thought that the Mosaic serpentine suspension in the wilderness was adumbrative of the Golgotha sanguineous event, a prophetic bethinking of Genesis 3:15?  The incarnational quiddity is befittingly a prognostication of the soteriology. Salvation is solely an authorship of Jesus Christ and for this reason Jesus catechizes John 3:36 “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” Without Jesus there certainly will never be salvation of the soul of mankind. John 5:24-25 “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. 25) Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.” The Christ is the Son of God, and from every corner of the earth, He must be heard by His sheep. To their own peril, those who have advertently rejected His word will not hear the salvaging voice of the Lord of glory.

Quite unarguably, the grand design of His incarnational event is of soteriological intent. The Incarnation is undoubtedly of paramount acceptation: for it is protected by the approbation of the Divine counsel of the Godhead. John 6:35 “And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.” This verse is Christological in revelation. It points out Jesus as the force of the soteriological actuation. Ask yourself why Jesus will use the personal “I” “Me” pronouns. Among the Trinitarian counsel of the Godhead, He, the Christ, takes full responsibility of appropriating salvation to he who comes to Him. The pronoun ‘he’ is a generic word for ‘person’. Note the employment of “every one” in John 6:40, “And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.” Again, is the employment of the personal “I”, regarding the One Who carries out the resurrection of the saints of God, at the last day. Jesus, I continue to reiterate, is the divine Author of salvation.

Apostolic testimony is what we read in John 20:31 “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.” The truth is that, every person must come to the knowledge of this salvaging divine design. Either you read it yourself or it is communicated via evangelism or being read to your hearing. What each person does with the Word of God determines the hellish condemnation or eternal bliss of heaven. Pauline couch reads in Romans 5:1 “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:” and this verse leaves none in doubt as to the One through Whom salvation receives consummation.

Unquestionably dead-on is the soteriological resolution of Romans 8:1 which asseverates, “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” The word ‘condemnation’ is katakrima (kat-ak’-ree-mah): ‘Damnatory sentence; an adverse sentence (the verdict).’ Jesus remains the protector and maintainer of Adamic rebirth. God places those who hear, believe and truly receive Jesus as Lord and Saviour in the divine refrigeration – Christ – with the sole aim of protecting the believers from spiritual loss or injury. The word ‘preserved’ in Jude 1:1 is tēreō (tay-reh’-o): ‘to guard (from loss or injury, properly by keeping the eye upon.’ The Apostolic author of the Book of Jude, under the supervisory inspiration of the Holy Spirit, did not write in Jude 1:1 a differing phulassō (foo-las’-so): ‘to guard or watch, have an eye upon: lest he – an offender – escape. Phulassō appropriately describes the guard and watch over Peter or that of Paul and Silas. Jude did not use koustōdia (koos-to-dee’-ah): ‘custody; used of a Roman sentry.’ A typicality of koustōdia is seen of Roman soldiers guarding the sepulchre of Christ – lest He was stolen. Jude used tēreō to teach the impossibility of losing the salvation authored by Jesus Christ, ergo, the rejection of the words of Jesus is done at the peril of the life of the doubters of the Divinity of the Second Member of the Godhead.

A disastrous end awaits those who think that any word of Jesus is jettisonable. He is the Light that lights the lives of intelligent beings. “Without Me,” He says, “ye can do nothing.” Romans 8:34 reads, “Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.” As we did not sit in the house of political legislation when the bill that was passed has become binding on all citizens, so is Divine decree binding on all intelligent beings. The empyrean decision that created man also decreed the modus of salvation of mankind. We were not there when Jesus hung on the sacrificial tree, pronounced dead, His resurrection was witnessed and was seen walking in His resurrected body for forty days. The problem here is whether you believe or not. Inside everyone is the Spirit of God’s conviction that the Bible is true. What one does with the unequivocalness of biblical account of the soteriology is the gravest issue.

REJECT THE WORDS OF JESUS TO YOUR OWN PERIL (1)

1)            One of the reasons why one should not treat the words of Jesus with levity is because of the theological proofs of His Divinity. Jesus is the thematic thread of Divinity that runs through the entire protocolary corpus of revelation – the Bible. If Jesus Christ, going by John 1:1 apperception, is the Word of God and has been in existence before creationism, then He is very God, of very God. The rejection of His word is a direct confrontation with the Omnipotence of the LORD God – the Creator.

What Jesus said to all and sundry in Matthew 11:28 makes every religious activity null and void. He must be the very key to Adamic salvation to utter the command of, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” The ultimate consequence of any religious practice is the entrance into eternal bliss of empyreal paradise. The verse above irrefragably points to Jesus Christ as the Author of salvation. For the crystal clarity that only the Divinity has the Omnipotence to save souls, Jesus revealed His Godhood by the words of Matthew 11:28. The earlier twenty-seventh verse quotes Him thus: “and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.” And here, in all certainty, lies His Omniscient revelation!

Let me do exegetical understanding of these verses. The word ‘come’ is an interjectional deute (dyoo’-teh): ‘Come! Come now! Come hither!’ In the Greek, ‘labour’ is kopiaō (kop-ee-ah’-o): ‘to grow weary, tired, exhausted (with toil or burdens or grief).’ How about ‘heavy laden’? It is phortizō (for-tid’-zo): ‘to load up (properly as a vessel or animal), that is, (figuratively) to overburden with ceremony (or spiritual anxiety).’ The words ‘give’ and ‘rest’ are the same Greek anapauō (an-ap-ow’-o): ‘(reflexively) to repose (literally or figuratively (be exempt), remain); by implication to refresh.’ So, what is Jesus saying to us here? “Come unto Me you that have been worn out by religious ritualism, and I will rest you in the rest of the LORD God.” Only Jesus can provide double rest which God alone gives. Only God, the Creator, can offer eternal empyrean rest, ergo, Jesus is truly God. Jesus clearly tells us in Matthew 11:27 that, “no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son” to establish the veridicality of His Omniscience. The word ‘knoweth’ is epiginōskō (ep-ig-in-oce’-ko): ‘to become thoroughly acquainted with, to know thoroughly; to know accurately.’

Does it not take the enigmaticalness of Omniscience to unravel the depth of the mind of the Omniscience? Jesus Christ and the Father do share coevality of eternality – everything the Father knows is not unknown to the Son, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty: for He made this scriptural point while He dwelt on earth during His thirty-three years of the incarnational days. How can you reject the instructions of Jesus and not be eternally guilty? Selah!

An understanding of Matthew 12:8 is very instructional, which reads, “For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.” How can someone be the Lord of Sabbath and be an ordinary Adamic being? The Lordship of the Sabbath goes all the way to Genesis of creationism. Genesis 2:2 “And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.” According to Jesus in Matthew 11:8 the Christ – the LORD of Sabbath –, on the seventh day, ended His work of creation and rested. Selah!

This is what it means by the Son of man is the Lord of the Sabbath. Jesus the Son of man has a beginning in the womb of Mary. He is the earthly toga of the Christ who has no beginning: for His goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. Jesus, the most enigmatic Personage that ever trod the terra firma said to Nicodemus, “And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven” (John 3:13). How can He be physically present before Nicodemus and yet be seated in heaven? Ponderous is what the explanation is! Jesus is the Ancient of days Who became the Infant of days to actuate the soteriology. Reject His word and you are damned, not by my words, but according to the word of God.

John 6:63 “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” His word ‘quickeneth’, which is the Greek zōopoieō (dzo-op-oy-eh’-o) means: ‘give life; restore to life; to (re-) vitalize.’ This is not about physical carnality of mundane birth. Jesus is talking about spiritual rebirth of Adamic fall. It is for this reason the Lord Jesus made the utterances of John 3:13-18 “And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. 14) And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15) That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17) For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18) He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

PROVIDENTIAL GIFT AND CALL (TWO)

2)            The Church, His Kingdom, must be well equipped with the necessary hands to “dress and keep,” which are fundamentally entrepreneurial engagements of Church business. The Hebraic ‛âbad (aw-bad’), of the Scriptural ‘dress’ of Genesis 2:15 means ‘to work, serve, till.’ What Adam could not do to give satisfaction to divine specifications, Jesus, the Incarnation of God, perfected when He we read, “Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.” (John 4:34). And in John 5:17, it says, “But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.” Veridical pointer to the perfection of Adam’s work is seen in “I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do” (John 17:4).

For the work that must get done Jesus did this: John 20:22-23 22) “And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: 23) Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.” Acts 2:4 “And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” In Acts Chapter two, the Church of Jesus came into being, imbued with the vibrancy of the Holy Spirit, Who put the human administration of the nascent Church in the able hands of the Apostles, who carefully nurtured her into adulthood. Having weaned the Church into the state of accountability, the Apostolic Fathers in turn handed the continual growth of the Church into the Holy Spirit led Pastors of various local assemblies. The gift and the call of every Adamic intelligence, before God, remained untampered with: for it is without repentance.

Enoch continued unabated in the prophetic utterances as God placed in his heart throughout his antediluvian age days till God took him, not experiencing death like all before him. From the antediluvian age up onto his sixth century birthday, and passing on to the postdiluvian era till his nine hundred and fifty years, when he died, Noah continued in his prophetic and leadership roles. Till he died at age one hundred and seventy five years, Abraham never stopped being the friend of God and His prophet. What Moses got called into, in ecclesiastical and political offices, he continued to hold even when oppositions came left, right and centre forty years after, at age one hundred and twenty years. If he had not angered God in the water provision episode, which brought a termination to his earthly life, maybe he would have lived up to Abrahamic 175 years. And Moses would never have stopped working for the LORD God in all his four fold offices.

The disciples of Jesus run through different directions when the soldiers arrested their Master at Gethsemane in poltroonish apostasy. All they had to do was do a comeback; did Jesus reject them for the dastardly behaviour of disserting Him? When they came back, He immediately reinstated them, why? Jesus’ gift and calling are without repentance. The good LORD knows that the enemy is always at his evil work of to steal, kill and to destroy. Not wanting to give Lucifer any opportunity to feel victorious over God’s business, once you are called to ministering business, He allows you to go on performing your duty till death. There is nothing Lucifer, the enemy, can do about that.O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out(Romans 11:33)! This is probably the reason why many Christians just cannot fathom why the soteriology, a Providential phenomenality, is of eternality in essence. The facticity of being born again is a gift, waiting for the day the individual will hear the altar call and will stand up to tie the divine nuptial knots with Jesus Christ, becoming the LORD’s mystical body. Methinks it says somewhere that “What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.”

Matthew 19:3-8 3) “The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause? 4) And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, 5) And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? 6) Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. 7) They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away? 8) He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.” What does the Lord mean by “but from the beginning it was not so”?

Two beginnings I see here: God decided to make the Woman a help meet for Adam, not as a result of an afterthought. Divine counsel had from eternal past decided that Adam will have a wife because the soteriology must demand marriage between Christ and the Church for the perfection of soteriological establishment. The Pharisees call the first Book of the Bible bereshith meaning ‘beginning’, therefore, taking them to a most familiar ground, Jesus tells them, “From Genesis, the beginning of God’s creation, marriage has been so sacrosanct that divorce was never a thing to resort to.” Now if marriage suffers not divorce, how can one lose this salvation from sinfulness, knowing fully well that to be born again is absolutely a marriage with Jesus? Selah!

The Bible says, categorically, “For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance” (Romans 11:29). Will God change His mind just to prove that He has a mind? Praise the LORD!

PROVIDENTIAL GIFT AND CALL (ONE)

1)            Eternal preconception of soteriology tends to account for Pauline treatment of God’s modus that places the ‘gift’ before the ‘call.’ Does it not follow logical intellection that a call should precede the attendant gift? God had already made up His mind to rejuvenate the man, whom He knew would fall, and from eternity had ordained him for eternal life. Man could not afford this life, ergo, it must be by grace: free! It must, of necessity, be an unmerited favour to have Scriptural accreditation, owing to the hopeless Adamic fall! Romans 11:29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. The first word, ‘for,’ is gar (gar’): (properly) assigning a reason.’ ‘Gifts’ comes from the Greek word charisma (khar’-is-mah): ‘a (divine) gratuity, that is, deliverance (from danger or passion); (specifically) a (spiritually) endowment, that is (subjectively) religious qualification, or (objectively) miraculous faculty.’

A feminine noun is the invitational ‘calling’ which is klesis (klay`-sis): ‘1. a calling 2. (specially) a divine calling 3. (figuratively) an invitation 4. (by extension) a name.’ The femininity of klesis is an establishment of the fact that the recipient – the Bride – of Providential ‘calling’, will be added to God. The dual ‘without repentance’ are a single Greek word ametameletos (am-et-am-el’-ay-tos): ‘irrevocable.’ It comes from two Greek words: a and metamellomai (met-am-el’-lom-ai).’ While a (al’-fah) means: ‘1. the first letter of the alphabet 2. (figuratively) only 3. (numerically) the first 4. (prefix, commonly) not, without (a-, an-, i.e. amoral, anarchy) 5. (prefix, occasionally) in the sense of a union (i.e. akin, adelphos “brother”), in this context it is based on the fourth definition. Metamellomai is: ‘to care afterwards, i.e. regret.’ Ametameletos, therefore, means ‘incapable of being retracted or revoked’.

The goodness of the LORD God is, in this verse, brought forth. His beneficence must eternalize the free gift: for His uttered words are of eternal consequence. The reason for this is that the LORD God, the Author of the gift, is eternal.

Does God give gifts or make calling just for the fun of it? When He endows gifts, it is always in furtherance of His vineyard work. Intelligent beings of the creationism are worshippers and workers in the Kingdom of Jehovah. The first place of Adamic activity was in the Eden Garden, a vineyard: God’s home. And He told Adam, “Dress it and keep it.” The first act, ‘dress’, ‛âbad (aw-bad’) means: ‘to work, serve, till.’ The next activity, ‘keep’, is shâmar (shaw-mar’): ‘to hedge about (as with thorns), that is, guard; generally to protect, attend to.’ The Eden Garden, God’s residence, was the first Church, with Adam as the pastor, priest and the prophet, where his wife, Adam the female, was expected to utter the participatory, “Amen,” to every leadership role of her husband. In the moulding of our pristine parents, the Creator fashioned the enabling gifts into their ontological quiddity. To Cain, God came with an olive branch, offering the gift of rapport, with an intention to open the door of reconciliatory calling. Cain rejected, like Lucifer, his spiritual progenitor, the Providential gift and call Cain metamorphosed into the head and father of the antediluvian miscreants. And Cain was lost forever.

The prophetic gift given to antediluvian saints through Enoch and Noah was trampled under the degenerate feet of of Adamic aberrancy. Perchance, God, thinking like man, to save him, He gave gift of prophetic office to the antediluvian age. An enviable gift of friendship was the Providential bestowal on the phenomenal man of faith, Abraham, Jehovah’s prophet. To Joseph God granted the gift of dreams interpretation. His father, Jacob, and his grandfather, Isaac, were given the gift of nurturing the people of God, Israel, from whom is the inexorable emanation of the Incarnation of the holy One of Israel, Jesus Christ.

To Moses were the quadruple official roles of the prophet, priest, judge and the prince of Israel, who led Israel out of Egyptian bondage, on her way to the Promised Land. The last Judge of Israel, Samuel, also got endowed with the four Mosaic roles as well, who anointed the first and the second kings of Israel, Saul and David. The LORD God who had everything planned before its eventual emergence said to him, 5) “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. 6) Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child. 7) But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. 8) Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD” (Jeremiah 1:5-8). John 6:70 “Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?” Jesus chose His followers with the gift of apostleship. One of them, like Cain, received not the Divine gift with all his heart; like Cain and the Antichrist, Judas ran himself into anathematic perdition.

Jesus will give you rest only if you will receive His life. Get born again. Say this simple prayer:
