church camp
before i start on it, shall tell you about my interesting church. my church is church of the good shepherd. for the past 49 years, there have been 2 congregations in the church as in really literally 2 congregations. namely the chinese congregation and english congregation. both congregations come at different times chinese in the morning, english in the afternoon. in other churches it would probably be called the morning service and afternoon service, however my church... doesnt. this year we have started the first combine congregation church camp with the theme together in unity. i would not say i totally enjoyed it. but it was a great experience to hang out with different people, knowing more little kids that dont like me or dont wanna talk to me or just want me to play with them, know more about the importance of unity, the concept of it, the function of it. as i said, i bunked with nat ng and rachel. well... i guess they are quite interesting. nat ng reads and reads -- jodi picoult's keeping faith. rachel writes and writes in her black krayle book. amazed at her neat handwrite. or at least it looked neat cause i saw black lines acrossed the pages. i somehow feel like starting a diary... think it will end up as a journal, maybe shall write for a friend, that would be more meaningful and make me more compelled to write. next up is warrior knights, interesting game. martin nat ng paul aaron and i formed the room service bunch... quite fun for starters i guess. dial room service. played munchkin fu and warrior knights with them. martin won most of the games... quite interesting. as usual, didnt sleep the last night. played warrior knights at 450. till about 6. my poor bro got locked out of his room by his roomies. after church camp, i think morning service would be more applicable to call what used to be the chinese congregation. camp was at batam's planet holiday. a pity i couldnt swim and didnt use the gym. on the third day, went bowling, quite alright scores. 68 and 91. i enjoyed lunch and dinner. got to mix with the other bunch of youths. kind of cool.

Thank God for church camp.

i'm suppose to blog ages ago.

my mind's a blank about what to blog.
shall start.
school holidays is hectic. but comparing to different people, there would be different opinions. i'm currently training for track season. three 3k runners, me shuxian and weilin. i cant stand the heat. it burns. i have a bad running posture, trying to change and i wonder if i should. allan+yihui were saying that sometimes it would change for the worst-- cant run well. according to shuxian, i'm a nerd runner. cause i ask too many questions about running. did 5x 800m 4:50 circle. meaning rest and run for each 800m is 4:50, run faster, rest longer. timings: 3:16, 3:27, 3:38, 3:42, 3:56. then rest for about 15 min and do 400m... timing: 80s.

wonder how come i'm running actually. everytime run long distance, some song will be playing in my head. today was running after you by planet shakers and take my hand by linking park i think.

church camp is coming. this camp is gonna be a little different from the past. i'm not bunking with fiona and joanna. cause they not going. bunking with different people. rachel and nat ng. gerald's not going (last min) =( jie and papa too. well... marcus has agreed to take care of my bro since i'm not in his group. many people not going this church camp. including elijah, jon, ben, kenneth. =( however, s4 are mostly going this year.
