I was in Shanghai a few weeks ago and I made it my photographic mission was to capture the City skyline of Pudong. I got up for a very early start to capture the dawn light. Standing on the Bund, I and aimed my camera over the Huangpu river towards the skyscrapers of Pudong. Some of the lights were still on in the buildings and the sun was just below the horizon.

This photo was taken in the evening. I waited for a passing boat to add a bit of motion to the image.

Shanghai is a great and modern city and I very much enjoyed my trip there.
