Amazing

It is finally the start to the weekend and the weather has been typical PA fall weather. Cool crisp mornings that turn into beautiful sunny days. We have been planting mums and decorating the outside for fall, I love it! It made me want to do a layout of the corn maze I took the kids to last year-hopefully that is where we will be headed next weekend!

All the paper is DCWV. I used the cricut to cut out the title and leaves, then stamped the leaves with close to my heart corresponding stamps. I used stickles on the title and corn. The corn and scarecrow are from peachy keen. When I was finished I asked the five year old what he thought and he told me it couldn't be a corn field without some crows trying to steal the corn. So I cut out the crows with the cricut and he was right it did look better with crows!

Happy Camper

This past 4th of July we put Emert's froggy tent up in the back yard so he could watch the fireworks. It was the first time he got to use his tent. He had so much fun!

The frog tent and boy on the layout was cut using my cricut. The rest of the paper and embellishments are from Imaginisce including the brads which I made with the I-topper.

My Hero

Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend! It's back to work in the morning, but at least it is only a four day work week!

My son is obsessed with being a cop or a soldier when he grows up. So last year for Halloween I bought him this costume, he still wears it around the house to shot bad guys or zombies. At least I know I am protected!

I used a stencil to create the background paper. The title is cut from the stand and salute cricut cartridge, the SWAT guy was cut from everyday paper dolls cartridge, and the soldier was cut from the Toy Story cartridge. I used a PKS to make the face on the SWAT guy, and used a pink by design stamp for my journaling block.
