Autumn Fun

Love this life

This is my last week at lasting memories as the guest designer. This month's theme is inspired by famous designers and this week's designer is Vicki Boutin. I used her color study collection, along with some wood veneers and I cut out black circles using a die. It was awesome playing along with the team this week-thanks for having me!

Cutest Pumpkin in the Patch

Going to the pumpkin patch was so fun this year-my grandson loved running around and picking up pumpkins. In my opinion he truly is the cutest pumpkin in the patch! The title was from Miss Kate, the embellishments are from Elle's Studio.

Happy Fall

These are pictures from last year at the pumpkin patch, we just went there yesterday and boy have things changed now that my grandson can walk! Everything except the wood embellishments are from simple stories. I used an exacta knife to cut part of the truck so items could be tucked under it-I thought it added some more dimension.

Lake Life

What a fun time we had at deep creek celebrating my parents 50th anniversary! The paper and some embellishment are from fancy pants and the rest are from Elle's Studio. I cut the circle into strips-I then put it back together pulling up the edges to add some dimension.

Pool Shark

The pool has been closed since March 2020 and my son and his teammates were so excited when they were finally able to get back in the pool this July. The Title was cut with my Cricut using a file from Misskatecuttables.

Bright

Last year was a challenge because every time the COVID cases increased the school went from in person learning to virtual. So when it was virtual my son was home alone and had to get himself to class on time. He did awesome-he made high honors the last 3 nine weeks of school!

The paper is from echo park and the embellishments are from Elle's Studio, except for the lantern shaker I made which was from Queen & Co.

So grateful for this moment

I am so excited to be a guest designer on the Cut It Up Challenge Blog! The theme for this challenge is to create your own background and don't forget to include a die cut.

I created my background using my Cricut-the acrylic stars and wood embellishments are all from Elle's Studio. I just thought it worked so well with these pictures of my grandson's first sleepover at our house. I then used embellishments from my stash to complete the layout.

Love at 1st Sight

Being a Grandma is the best thing on Earth! Because of COVID I wasn't able to go to the hospital with my daughter-so these are the pictures of our first meeting. I used the Cricut to cut the title. I cut triangles out of different patterned paper and arranged them to form a unique background, then I added all the embellishments.

I loved the cut file I used for the title-I thought it went perfect with these pictures of my son on the lake. We were in Canada and on the way to the cabin we hit a lot of traffic and the air conditioner broke-so it was nice to finally get to the lake and relax!

Swimming Meet

My son was doing such a great job swimming and was all set to start a travel league-then COVID hit. We are hoping that his team will be allowed to start practicing again in July-who would have thought I would miss traveling around to swim meets!

Fishing Up Some Memories

Spring Walk

On Easter we didn't have the traditional big gathering, so we decided to go visit our favorite hiking trail. I thought the bright colors would be a nice contrast to the browns in the photos. I used the Vicki Boutin Color story paper and embellishments. The buttons, wood and cork embellishments were from my stash.

Good Times

Another layout from our Disney Trip. Still using my April kit from the Scraproom and the embellishments are from Elle's Studio. I used my cricut with a downloaded file to make the Star Wars Mickey-which is actually the same design that I used to make the t-shirt my son is wearing in the photos.
