30 Metaphor and its traps and trappings
like identity and narrative and the long run of a Liberal Democracy intended to preserve liberty and justice for all and so allowing for the discernment of individual differences creating a tension between then what become the two poles and the never ending dilemma of my rights as an individual vs the good of the many and the health of the commons

some way of being
telling the stories we can live with corollary to the notion we don’t tell the stories we remember we remember the stories we tell which in fact are the stories we can and do live with that underlie the stories we remember and tell the kernal at its core perhaps as tightly bound as the inside of the golf ball or as loosely and lovingly rewound from the skein of yarn into a ball from which then one knits creates unfurls an outcome tells a story it’s all tricky business or not

5 mobilization
We were in part a bedraggled lot those with an assortment of limited funds of things that are limiting but there was no limit to the willingness to put it all on the line and stand on the line we’ve stood on before and there was no limit to the up_welling; the generating between generations the call and response of calling and responding and the accompanying company of com_munity in the common need for the commons. We were those who could not yet stand or walk and those who could no longer stand or walk. But we all could sing.

We were talking about new signs talking about the nature of democracy depending on discourse and persuasion and the ways in which fascism instead tolerates none of that, no seeing or making sense on one’s own of the seeing of the goings on going on demanding fealty to the proclamations of the chosen leader who is the only one who is by default granted that allknowing allseeing so saying as if the so saying makes it so. Yesterday was peaceful. There will be crackdowns. The Golfer will not tolerate the so many who aren’t seeing his seeing or saying

We’re past waiting for what’s coming, it’s on its way and as previewed.
And many of the questions we are asking now are based on and in a world order already plundered. So the question asked of an elsewhere born but ultimately american bred naturalized citizen are you sorry you came back is purblind and unwittingly unwitting.
And piques my own hot nerve: as if there is somewhere to run to as if one can escape each their/our own vulnerability.
The world now is the frying pan; we are all next_in_line in the twisty business of hearth heart home and sovereign_ty.
